- 1/14 Scale true 3S ready street (on-road) basher. It might be the most expensive Chinese RC car but still under $140 (China Retail Price $69.00)
Pros:
Excellent suspension turned for 2S battery, sealed diffs, gyro, lights, active cooling, solid chassis, smooth drivetrain
Cons:
Large turning radius
US Version model# H14MK? Seem like they ditch this name and go back to 14301
The drifting is crazy on this little joker!! Added 3s and it is fast! For the price you can’t beat that little thing!
Awesome video brother! It looks like it handles so great! Super solid! Mine came in last week. Should have a video up either this weekend or next weekend! Take care dude!😎👍🏻
I will check it out
I got my mk yesterday ditched the body took the bat mobie toy hard body placed my receiver lower as well as the gyro. Now its a little mini felony. Thanks for your info i got the wheels you suggested great platform waiting on motor upgrade video.

Hot rc car ❤🌞👏👏♥️🤣🤩😇👍👍😎🔥🏆👍
Yes, it is
Other cons not mentioned in the description: the gyro makes driving straight hard because it makes steering corrections when you drive straight and make a slight turn, it will go into a feedback loop where it corrects one direction, corrects its correction in the opposite direction, over and over, until you slow down or until the car slaloms wildly left to right.
It's not a skill issue and my gyro was not accidentally reversed. I drive a Felony just fine in a straight line, with or without the gyro.
MJX doesn't wanna go straight if you try to make a small steering adjustment, it'll sway left and right until you crash or slow down.
Also, my spur stripped in 4 weeks on 3s.
Also, very limited battery size support.
It is hard to drive all out on 3S even after I lower the car, I do find having the gyro (turn way down, only need tiny bit) is better than without. Thanks for sharing
Adjust the trim slightly off and the gyro to 65 your welcome
You can make a homemade battery from regular 18650 batteries and insert cases, and after the race you can take them out and charge each one separately.
All this will cost $30 maximum
@@sashair make sure to used high amp cells or you can cook them and won't last.
another great video... Thanks for info
Thanks for watching!
everyone says it looks like the infraction, but don't they all just look like the nascar trucks? or the hoonitruck. i'd love to mod it to look like the hoonitruck
lol okay that paintjob is a copy of the 3s infraction. but the new version of the 14301 (h14mk) doesn't use it
You want something like my UDIRC ruclips.net/user/shortsy4zQ0wjpyVA
So how do you put the fan on the esc? There are no directions, I don’t see anywhere to mount it, and I’ve scoured the internet without finding a single mention of it.
It's very easy. Simply screw directly onto the heatsink. I did mention about alignment on the video
zeee do a range of shorties, i have some of their 3s 2200mah ones on order (they're 50C for the same price as your 35C one)
but they do physically larger shorties that I think will fit sideways - a 5000mah 2s 100C or 120C, a 6000mah overvolt 2s 120C, a 4200mah 3s 120C
some are only sold in pairs, some single
they're listed as ~46mm "wide" but on its side, that should still fit
e.g. one is 96*46*25mm
they're all around this size. I think 96 is maxing out the length of the bay, pushing the idea of shorty, but i think it will still fit
Please do know that most of the C rating are super inflated. I recently test out a 120C labeled pack tested out to be 25C. I also would not recommend placing such a larger battery as the weight will upset the performance and balance
@@customtoyrevolution this zee mob seem to be trying to compete with ovionic etc, i'm happy so far. but yeah i'm never gonna be running them at that high a draw to worry about the C ratings
the 14301 is already heavy at 1.3kg. i'm not too fussed about the extra weight on that, but yeah ill be mounting it as close to the center of the vehicle as possible
UPDATE - I just got the 2s overvolt shorties (pair), and they only JUST fit without modifying the support frame at the front, but the battery tray is in the way, so ideally that's removed. but it wedges perfectly between the rear bulkhead and that support frame that makes the bay shorter - be warned that the other batteries are slightly different sizes on the listing, so the overvolt 2s shorty 6000mah is the longest battery that it can fit - confirmed 96mm (without fitting in the battery tray itself). the battery tray is ~91mm
UPDATE UPDATE - have to remove the battery tray to fit height, the dust cover shell rear body clips don't quite fit, but i never put them on, but the body fits aok. the battery dimensions are 96x46x25mm. the longways strap not required because of the snug fit, and the sideways strap works without the battery tray fitted. so only "problem" is the dust cover rear body clips don't quite go in 46mm is 1 or 2mm too much
I would have returned that i want the box and all those things rubbing on everything im sure i would have freaked out
Great video! Where’d you get that body for the UDI 1601 it’s awesome
I made it. Thanks
Glue neodymium magnets to the shell and body it’s like $20 for clip less modding my magnets are 15lb and the shells only come off once during a 62mhr crash lmao
They don't stay on for bashers, not for me anyway, I only use them for drift cars or on roads at best.
That's ridiculous. ALL Good in Australia postage.
Yes
I got to get me one of these
One of my favorites
Do you know how to adjust the toe on the front wheels with this car? It seems to use unadjustable plastic links. I'm confused because mine just showed up with the right wheel way out of toe from the left.
They are adjustable, turn the pull bar counterclockwise to extend. I will post a tuning video in a week or so.
@@customtoyrevolution thanks my steering rack came way off center and I don’t know how to fix it other than uneven link adjustment.
@@wilsgrant You don't want to do uneven links. Re-seat / re-center the servo horn as best as you can and then you can fine turn it on the transmitter
@@customtoyrevolution thanks! Servo looks pretty buried in there I’ll have to dig into it
Hey, does the esc has a low voltage cutoff or do i need an extra sensor?
All brushless ESCs have low V cutoff, no need for extra sensor
May be you can help. Got one of these and my son crashed it. Now it won't steer. When you first turn on the car it steers for a moment. The light on the gyro is both red and green. Light then turns red and steering stops. What should i do? Thanks in advance
Not sure. Servo and/or servo saver could be bad, start there. Light on the gyro is both red and green mean no signal from receiver. When all power up, all lights should turn red.
@@customtoyrevolution yes, all lights are red when on. Thanks for the advice. I'll start there
Hello, does the transmitter for this mjx onroad rc model...
Does it still have the dead zone on the trigger (which existed on the mjx hypergo off road rc)?
(Dead zone different then throttle delay I think, dead zone on 1/4th at the start of trigger press and press no further than that, and it would never go)
There is a throttle trim you can adjust the dead zone to your liking and I don't experience delay but the auto brake is annoying making stop & reverse confusing. Need some getting used to.
What parts are easily broken? I wanna order them in advance.
I have not broken anything, IDK. Tires and the body shell do wear out very fast since it's meant to run hard. I have an extra body for display
@@customtoyrevolution is greasing the differentials necessary? Thanks btw.
Not the diff internal, but you should grease the rest of the gears after a few runs
We might have killed this car. It's no longer on the official mjx product page
Any update why they took it down?
How to replace servo brother?
Remove the ESC and you can access it
Its a 1/14, not a 1/16
No one said it's 1/16. Did I miss something?
@@customtoyrevolution7:35 You can clearly hear "NO ONE" say it outclassed anyone at a 1/16 scale
