Looks great, but I have a question..... you don't do anything to the inside, so when they open it stuff doesn't come falling out? Thanks again. Love your videos.
A purse like this does not hold a lot so a person would not put too much in it. These are usually for special occasions and not an every day purse. I personally line my cigar box purses with fabric and some I add a little ribbon to keep the lid from opening too wide. You could also use a short piece of chain like the old wooden tool boxes used to have. Hope that helped.
Do you have any for sale?? One I love these!! Great job!! I’ve never seen those boxes you have, that are shiny. I just recently started collecting cigar boxes. Some the lid up, and others slide, and then the hinged ones. But I love the shiny ones you have
My wife is ready to make some purses while I take cbg's to shows. Where did you source the handle clasp for the purse handle? We need in gold I think you called it a half circle clasp????
You said “you know where to get this” about the corners and hardware..... but my Ace hardware is owned by a jerk . I have already asked him about what I need to make purses.
Thank you for showing
Thank you

...nice job Ken. Looks like fun...
It would be truly a convenience if you mentioned all these supplies you used with the resources linked. I’m frustrated trying to find these pieces.
Agreed
Thank you for sharing. I want to make some cigar box purses but didn't understand the mechanics of the handle and other closures needed.
