1950 Silvertone Archtop: Second Time in the Shed
Time well spent, thank you Ken.
I feel like I'm watching Flash Gordon and I desperately await the next episode!😆
Ken, it is amazing how quickly the time adds up
I’m a year late to your grand finale Ken! The derelict Galiano is looking and sounding fine !!! Frank is awesome!! Great work my friend! ShawnMannDude 👏🏼🤙🏼😎
Ken, what a pleasant surprise
Funny to hear you mention MGB Guitars. Event five years ago (watching this in 2024) Mike was all about customer service! Even more so now.
@@scillyautomatic he is always the best))) thanks for watching
Love it and good point
Impressive work, I can't wait to hear the Baja sing
Why there is a ton of work is cause you forgot to remove the two pieces of tape.
@@BurninSven1 I give up. Why?
Ken, this was a great introduction into fan bracing. Thanks for sharing these great tips
Thanks Ken 👍👍👍
Great video! 😊 What’s the best way to install the grounding wire correctly? Especially if you’re making all new holes/
The Baja journey is real, thanks Ken.
Paul Mero!!! This is the channel to watch, more variety, more interesting instruments. Already tired of expensive Gibson and Martin guitars, there are other brands (and instruments for that matter) out there people!!!
Ken, very interesting video, we are forewarned
That’s a good friend of mine !! What’s up Meño!! Ya boy bobb
I LOVED the tape trick...Awwsome (No I mean Awesome LOL)
You are moving right along on the Baja
Thanks Ken, i always enjoy watching your skill
Ken, thanks for sharing the great details for this labor of love.
Thank you for the video, very informative :)
It's pronounced keentoh not kweentoh. Great video though!
Ken, what a great video, great to see so much progress
😮 Looking good , Ken thank you
The Bajo Quinto could also be used for Oberkrainer Music
♍️⚡️👍🤘🕊️
I am currently doing a regal parlor guitar. It has the same structural issues as your bajo. I'm at the point of gluing the back on. My regal luckily has a nice flat top.
@@garyvosburg1819 hey there. You’re deep in the playlist long before things get released ))) thanks for watching. Keep an eye on how the neck is sitting when you glue up the back.))
Thanks Ken , you could for sure make a full length video and call it "Paul Mero tips and tricks"
Thanks Ken , I can't wait to see the finished Baja.
great shit brother
Sadly, I didn't heed your warnings and have an archtop needing some major love
@@peterott7088 just don’t do it 50 more times my friend
Ken helped me evaluate a Silvertone archtop a year or so ago, I have it playable now
Thanks for the video - very educational 👍
Thanks for watching )))
Ken, I really enjoy these videos and your unique sense of humour.
As always, thanks for watching Peter
Just the video I was looking for sir
Thanks for watching Nick but we gotta get you a life son )))
@@paulmerojunkpileguitars well I had a very similar guitar to fix with a very similar issue so this was perfect
@@nicksalvatore5717 Thank you )))

The tip about the hand under the butt of the guitar, is awesome,,, I think my SG, was ready to break apart!.
Thanks for watching. 50,000 baggage handlers can't be wrong )))
Thanks Ken, I knew nothing of these instruments till today.
Thanks Roger, neither did I )))
Thank you both for the history of these instruments
My pleasure. Thanks for watching Peter )))
I have a sexto I have to repair. Can't wait to watch this to help understand the instrument a little better. There's no brand name or markings at all so I know it's the real deal.
I'm right there with you Mike. Thanks for watching )))
I liked the Mando bass, to me the lesson was in the clamping and clamping cauls. Thanks Ken
Thanks for watching Roger. Once I realized that focusing force on one clamping spot was not going to be effective, much less more likely to create additional damage, things came together much better )))
Thank you. I’m watching in 2024
Thanks for watching. This one stood the test of time )))
Ken, thanks for always creating interesting content!
Thanks for tuning in Peter )))
Thanks Ken. You always have something interesting to watch. 👍👍👍
