  • I tried paint pouring for the first time on the tops of cigar boxes for an upcoming craft exchange. They turned out great - learned some tips along the way. Then I got brave and did a bonus project that I loved EVEN more!

Deco Art Ready to Pour Paints in Grey, Sky Blue, Navy, Emerald Green and Burnt Umber

When your filling in logos and dings and dents and chips etc use Bondo instead. Once you mix it the dry time is very very fast. And you can apply it very thick if need be.

Great suggestion! I've never worked with Bondo but will check it out.

These are cute...when you do these again, instead of painters paint, try washi tape...it's not as sticky as painters tape and isn't as likely to leave any residue or take any of your base coating of paint off...another thing you could try is adding just a drop of silicone to your Paints, except for your base coat. It creates neat little designs...and Liquitex makes a glass medium that you add to your Paints and it helps your Paints adhere to glass better.

Also from experience take care painting the inside of the box. I found that it made the box seal when I closed it again even if it was perfectly dry😢. Had a heck of a time opening it up again
