In this video I epicycle a Goodwill thrifted cigar box by painting it with DIY Paint Black Velvet. I added a piece of Vintage Ephemral and Brocante transfer. Sealed it with DIY Paint Liquid Patina and White Wax... Then I added Golden Rule around the edges.

I remember having real cigar boxes in elementary to keep in our desks. They smelled like cigars. Can you imagine using them today?! Really cute idea!

I always thrift cigar boxes. I just love them. I use them at home and sometimes they manage to find their way to the store lol. I definitely keep them if they’re from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 or Cuba 🇨🇺 There’s so many uses for them. I can’t believe you used them in your desks. Thank you for watching!!

@@LeesaBooneDesigns in 2nd grade we took our class picture and glued it to the outside bottom of a clear ashtray and put a piece of felt over it for a father's day gift!!! Yes I'm showing my age! 😉

@@elaine-kittyfostermom wow. I’ve not heard of that one either but ashtrays were such an integral part of most homes back in the day. I know we had several. I don’t miss those days. Although we sell a lot of vintage ashtrays in the store where I’m at. I think some of them are beautiful and could hold candy or jewelry.
