Hi Derek, Shaka Ponk is an incredible band in live. The studio versions are Ok but they take a new dimension live.

.. talking about this, please have a look at their "I'm picky"' song. You won't regret it.
An absolute must see is their cover of Kids in America, Kim Wilde. It's not the usual cover, there's quite a surprise halfway through the song, and that is fantastic!
Undeniably a rock band, full of energy and probably even more on stage. Everyone talks about their Nirvana cover, I'm not a fan. But they do what they want to do and it works for them, so respect.
As a recent French band, you should try Deluxe and the title "Moustache gracias". I'm not a fan of the singer's voice but musically, this track is excellent.
Other group Feu Chatterton and the title "Monde nouveau" .
If fans of these two groups have other titles to propose you ....
