Hey Hoon, I just had a really bad experience with the df64 gen 2. I think mine was defective. It kept clogging, had an insane amount of fine (the whole outside of the grinder was brown with coffee fines), and the burrs were way out of alignment. I wanted to love it. Do you recommend anything else, or do you think I should try the df64 again? Do you think the 078s is worth it over the 64 gen 2? I drink a lot of pour over, and I'm looking at my first espresso machine. The grinder has been the biggest challenge so far. It seems like they all have downsides. The df64 is easy to open and clean. The where the 078s is hard to open, clean, and alight. I'm even looking at the mazzer philos.

I make cold brew coffee every week. Can the df54 handle 200g light roast beans safely without overheating the motor?

I do not see any problem with it. I would not run the full through it at once. It takes longer to grind as you know the longer the grind beans heat. If your grinding 20 gram at a time I r so no problem. These motors are strong.

I have to say ive had all grinders in every caliber i feel the smaller burrs gives me a wide profile easier to dial in my 64 and up is a job to do it. Im tired of glat burrs. Its my niche and df54 its like the Eureaka line.

Hey Hoon I'm moving from 54mm Breville to a 58mm Lelit Mara x, do you need to grind coarser or finer in general ?

Hey Hoon. Do you by chance have or know of any coupon codes for the espresso outlet? THanks
