Be sure to add extra oil and grease to the brake shoes them self's so they do not grab the brake drum when we apply the brakes and slow us down when we need to stop....

Good info on changing out a wheel seal but are you really going to re use your oil soaked brake shoes......you're kidding right?

I just changed the brakes and drums on my 93 F150. I think Ford engineers were smoking crack back then too. What a mess!

Don't think that seal will last since you pushed to far rubbing on inner bearing

Ok, have to ask, does that blk RTV work better then the gasket? The gasket is $15 at AZ here. I am a little fearful of rear end spider gears and axle but you make this axle pull look easy. I have a driver seal leaking so I am defiantly going to tackle this soon! Need to swap out my oil in rear end anyway. Thanks for the vid.

I have never had an issue using RTV. I wouldn’t say it works any better, but it works just as well.

The drum came off so easy because you have no break shoes left! Haha

Excellent vid. Just curious did the seal ever leak again after replacement?
