Pimped the fuck out - definitely stand out part for me from skate more. ❤
Van nuys legend! Always loved this part, the music really set the tone for it. 818 stand up!!!
Have loved getting to know Jeron beyond his skating on the pod. What a legend. Type of guy you want to be your friend.
I used to religiously watch Skate More 🔥 His intro to his Pretty Sweet part is iconic too
been watching the show since the beginning, not that it was getting stale but Jeron was such a breath of fresh air and welcome addition to the 9 club family. Got his Blabac photo signed and hung on the wall!
Dubs is hands down my favorite part of the show. I love how he skates, his style and swagger. And you can just tell he'd be a great friend.

Jeron Wilson: buttery
Jeron has aged gracefully. Such an iconic part and video for me! Much love Jeron! Thank you for influencing me!
I honestly forgot about this video. It was so good ! I had a copy when I was like 12 years old and watched this and fully flared religiously
I still listen to 'Let it whip' a lot, and also another hits from the Dazz Band, which I discovered from this crispy Part! Thx Dubbs! Bless
heelflip master!
always loved how jeron made everything he does look supergood!
I met Dubs in 2008 in the Philippines when they had a demo in my friend’s skatepark in Cebu. I think it was a promo for DVS with Tpuds, Daniel Castillo, Zered and more. I was of the marshalls of the event so I had a chance to get closer with the pro-skaters. He is one of those people that you can feel their genuinity through their aura. He was a natural and he really appreciates his fans..
Fuck that wouldve been rad
As a filmer, it was rad to hear Dubs show some love to all the filmers he's worked with other the years
As a watcher it was nice to watch this video
@@Rickvales I felt the same way
Quick question, why is he called Dubs? I've heard so many people call him that but can't seem to find any info on it. Thanks!
@@tilen3870 I think it was the name of one of his dvs shoes "the J-Dubs" and it just became his nickname after that
@@crustycatfish thanks for the info! I went digging a bit further and one possibility (although just my speculation) is that in English language, 'dubs' is short for 'double V', so short for W. In NBA, the fans of Warriors keep calling their team the dubs. And since Jeron's last name is Wilson, it maybe comes from there as well :)
Got to go to this premiere at the Arclight, what a fun night. By the time this video dropped I had already gotten broke on rails and stairs and seeing Jeron skate these unique spots with flair was eye opening.
Had this vid on my iPod lol used to watch it everyday on the school bus. Jerons and jeremes parts were the best. Great song choices too
The nollie lazer manny was dope!
Thanks dubs! Gotta get rog on to break down his camera bag
One more part Jeron ❤
Yes it would be great to see.
I could listen to Jeron read a phonebook, love his commentary
He is just that type of person you just go out to lunch with and shoot the shit about life. Great listener and soft communicator
that nollie hell on that crusty bank spot was so clean. text book ish right there.
1:57 that switch tre looks so good
Man I love his part in this video
Legend
Love this dvd.
i love dubbs so much
0:35 I love this line. Watch it loads
Jaron is just such a cool cat! I admire his vibe always.
Jeron is my favorite Nine Club member
It’s rare to see someone who’s both extremely talented at something and also humble about it. Jeron’s parts were always a blast to watch and still are today
Mr. Wilson's name showed on RUclips and I stopped my agenda and then I pressed play.
I'm a fan so that's the simple version of my thoughts.
Give him his flowers.

Julio Torres and Jeron Wilson in one post ❤ I love it. Respect to you both thanks for inspiring.
Jeron you’ve got a sick style! I loved the Ollie manual kickflip.
didn't know that bump was in the valley... gonna have to do some skate tourism asap!
nollie front heel over the guard rail was some Tyshawn Jones level pop
Legend !!
Love this please keep doing these 🙏🫶🙏
can i say i REALLY like these skaters reviewing their part things and it should be a full time series and start including dudes not associated with nine club after your run thru them. Eldy next!!!
Huge Jeron fan - great to hear his insight on this part, used to watch this religiously growing up. Bumped into him at Porto's in the valley and had to pay my respects, absolute legend!
So dope!
Jeron is the man!
So dope!!!
rad hearing all the little details on a video/part i used to watch all the time growing up. Also rad song!
Dope part and cool to hear you talk about it!
Pure excellence.
The quick foot drag looked good imo
the foot down was sick
would love to see jeron break down his goldfish part.
Jeron is that OG. Been a fan since the 90s.
Bro I requested this!!! 🤙🏻 such a big part of my youth right here.
Great video
I had this skate video when i was 13. So iconic and legendary
1000% buttery
I gotta drag this one outta the attic such a sick video. Jeron you ripped it I was always so stoked on this part!
“just doing basic tricks and showing how you skate is dope”
that’s a really great point and not something i’ve thought about much when it comes to video parts
Loving this series! Now get Crob to do A Time To Shine
Lol, Jeron showing his age calling it "heelflip shuv".
Lol, Nothing but love, Jeron. Love your part, and the whole video honestly. The best intros of any skate video ever.
Haha “nollie heelflip nose-wheelie”
@@matthewjamal lol, I didn't catch that one.
I’m old 😫
Haha, this argument comes up constantly on the nine club. Although it's usually about variel kickflips/ shuvit flips.
I blame thps, haha.
@@matthewjamal the term “nose wheelies” always makes me giggle
Always loved your parts bro this was the DVD to watch in 2007 and I still try to watch it. Your part is fire to this day. Legends.
Jeron is so sick. This part killed it the song was perfect. I wanna say he was one of the few skatin the flat gaps or quick bumps over something. You gotta be hauling ass and to commit is another task after gettin over. Another one to the 3 shuvs outta grinds or slides. It wasent common then. And they also take lots of work. Love Jeron man
Friend: @7:54 What was that for?
Dubs: It was for @7:57.
That's my duuuuuuuubs.
let's get Kelly to do his Kayo "It's Official" part!
HHHAAARRRDDD!!!! 💎🧈💎🧈💎🧈
damn he actually looks aged in this video...like a fine wine dubs!! like a fine wine.
One of the best skate video songs of all time.
Had a short sesh on a bump over a sawhorse with Jeron in my local skatepark in Sweden in like 2007-08 .
ill never forget Jeron doing a switch tre over it, and i did a really crappy sw fs flip but Jeron was stoked for me and gave me a fistbump! Him and McCrank and are the only pros ive interacted with, both super cool! McCrank was sitting outside the bar where the after party was, he was sad and longing home. I liked that interaction. you realize these aren’t just pro skaters you have seen in videos and look up to, they are human just like anyone els
Nah they are cgi edited
Know what ur sayin. It was the same when I met a few members of the bones brigade at Livingston Skatepark. It was their European tour, the footage of which ended up in Public Domain. Gurerro's stalefish over the hip was stunning.
We spoke with them all, Hawk, Valelly, Eric Sanderson, Tommy and Lance. Down to earth as u get.
Like u mentioned: jst people.👍🏽👍🏽
We need Chris Roberst to review his Transworld A time to shine part
Hi Jeron Wilson!
Yo these videos are awesome. Gotta love Jeron. He seems like a really cool, down to earth dude. Amazing skateboarding.
Skate More is such a good video ! Dense !
Love to hear OGs talk about how they filmed a part gives me insight and a comparison on how I film my parts , given I’m not a pro or anything but every skater has the same passion. Shout out W’s real OG !
Loved this buttery break down! Thanks dubby
What size deck were you skating during this video?
Jeron is the GOAT! loved his style since the beginning and now seeing his personality on the show, makes me like him ever better. 1000%
The GOAT? Really?
I’m so happy you did this review.. the switch front 180 up the Melbourne museum gap. 👏👏👏👏👏👏.
I loved his part and his shoe was so underrated. I bought so many pairs, his shoe was perfect for me.
hell yeah been wanting this on the nine club for years!! one of my favorite parts til this day
6:52 i love how he appreciates that he got the trick he wanted and drove home happy i love that feeling
Would love to hear about every pro board u have. I’m from Wisconsin and always liked your college Wisconsin board!
That’s one of my favorite board graphics. Wisconsin Badgers!!
@@jeronwilson9890 word up, I’m from Madison and I know Tyrone and Dave. Hit home for sure!
04:53 that switch 180 was huge
Such a great video part. Love Dubs, he really is the mannn. Great one guys!
I always wanted more from dubs and guys like him. Always seemed like they didn’t film a whole lot, almost like half asses parts his whole career
Damn dude.. rad too see this... late 80's/early 90's 818 flashbacks... sluggin around at Val Surf and 118 and tearin up every sidewalk, parking lot, and high school from Van Nuys, Northride, Simi, Woodland Hills, Sherman oaks,..everywhere... miss those days..
DUBS!!!
My favorite guy!!!
I worked at a skate/surf shop during the release of this, Circa It's Time, etc etc.. can't recall how many times I had watched those 2 specific videos.. amazing times.
Australian authorities/politicians were so anti skating in the late 90's early 2000's. Thankfully they have relaxed since the popularity of street skating lessenned.
That sketchy bump he talks about is super sketchy and scary. Rolls right into traffic and its steep. I rolled up to it once and decided not to mess with it 😅.
Buttery, nothing budget about it, Dubs. Keep cooking. All the best.!
I agree with what he said about "basic" tricks and i wish more old heads felt that way. We just want to see you skate, we dont care if its not as good as you were in your 20s, if its anywhere close to your best now its sweet. Imagine if Gino put out a two or three minute clip. And yeah gaps like that flat one with the switch tre and frontside heel im terrified of hitting a rock or some shit and finding myself going down head first onto the stair set
I have this on DVD. Its really good.
I did realise he wasn't given a part in yeah right - I always though most people on chocolate can't get full parts on girl films but just features - that's sad to hear
The foot drag was one of the two cool foot drags in recorded history, the other one is Gonz bombing a hill in I forget which video but it was dope. Dubbs is the man
That little pony tail kinda makes you look like Suga Free, straight flippin' & pimpin' 💯
People really questinoned the foot drag?wow. i never thought much of it i thought it was like whatever not a big deal
Went to the middle school your second handrail trick is on, Newberry Park baby!
My question is where is all that Jeron Yeah Right footage that didnt get used?
Honestly this is one of my favorite parts , just a display of being a smoother operator !
Feel bad for kids saying this and "Its Time" were their classics back then
such agreat video and Jeron had one of the best pars in it for sure. Wonder if he picked the song by himself?
Most people don’t know how long it takes to get these clips!!! Hours, days, weeks
You already knew the teaser at the beginning was a fakeout. No way Jeron is saying that someone had the worst part
Jeron talking throughout this part review is smooth as a baby's ass! 😎🤣
