- In this video we are embroidering onto a t shirt for a client using the Ricoma MT-1501 Commercial Embroidery Machine. I show you how I hoop the shirt and we use our lazer device to trace for placement. I also play a song from my music album for you while the machine embroiders. I've heard negative things about Ricoma machines, but just like you said it is a more intricate machine than other company machines, I want one bro, and if I can get one financed I'm right there with you.

First off thanks for this video. Can this be accomplished with tear away stabilizer? Also, are the shirt thicker than the average tshi
If you are embroidering on shirts the stabilizer should remain on the embroidery design to help maintain the integrity of the embroidery over time. Tear away would not be ideal for the longevity of the embroider design on the garment.
Thicker than the average shirt is a tough question, what do you consider an average shirt? Undershirt or gildan 500?
Wow, until this moment I had no idea my machine had a laser. Not mentioned in any of my training. UGH!

My designs dont come out straight

Hi Alan, how do you program your my 1501 to use mighty hoop 5.5.. please help.. thanks 🙏🏽
First you have to make sure you purchased the mighty hoops with the correct hoop attachment for the mt-1501. Contact mighty hoop and make sure your metal brackets are for the mt-1501.
If they are the correct brackets you simply just use the screw driver and adjust the arms for the hoop like you are taught in training.
