Great first one. If you ever have any tiny threads or loops that sometimes happen, a Dritz Snag nab it tool is a lifesaver. The tool helps catch the threads and pull them to the back. Mighty hoops are amazing. I also suggest investing in some extra bobbin casings. I had a bobbin case break on me and it stopped me in my tracks. I had to order more.

To see if you’ve got stuff centered on your top frame take them permanent marker they can always be changed later but mark the center of the top and the bottom. That way you don’t have to guess if you wanted to you could make a crosshair on your T-shirt that way you know exactly where Santa is also

I fuse a no show poly mesh (use tan on a white shirt) - if it's a dense design you can float a tear away underneath, and you can tear it off after (or a cut away if you don't care that it's there). Looks great!!
You did an amazing job! To easily trim the threads do not remove hoop clip the threads. Turn the shirt with hoop still on and trim threads on the back of shirt if there are any. NOW, it is time to either cut or tear off stabilizer and remove shirt from. hoop. Enjoy your embroidery journey!

I know that this is two years later, but from when you got the machine two years ago to now, have you noticed a difference when it comes to volume of the needles and everything coming down was it quieter than what it is now?
Amazing for the first go, did you get any centre grafts you place in the hoops to find your centre mark and then take them out there's how to get a perfect centre every time . Great job 👏

Great video.. but listen to me, keep your hands out of the way, its quicker than you think to get caught by that nail and it hurts like hell and you will need stitches to repair your finger... what you need to practice on is to put your stitches right in the design so you will not need to get your fingers inside of the hoop when the machine is working.. take care.. :D

I jumped out of my skin so many time….Please always stop the machine if you want to cut your threads…and your other color threads will stitch and cause a wiper error so make sure they not dragging your shirt 😌🙌🏽

Please don't put ur fingers while the machine is running. U don't want a needle thru ur finger girl-ugh Either stop ur machine & cut or wait til the end. I use my stylis to move the threads instead of using ur fingers. I always use water soluble on top when embroidering.
Please, please, please do not try and cut threads while the machine is running. That's a good way for the needle to hit the scissors and break your needle and damage your machine. And heaven forbid if it catches your finger.😵 Please stop the machine and cut your dangling threads. But enjoy and have fun with your new toy!

I didn’t get anything yet to help with centering. I’m going to invest in something.
Also take the plastic caps off the bottom of the thread as the thread will unravel and get stuck.
Does the RICOMA have a laser to help with positioning and outlining?
Use poly mesh on the NL shirts and a tear away because those are kinds thin I had them for summer shirts
you should always hit the trace with
the heart in it and hold the needle down to make sure it is in the hoop and you don't void your warranty
You can get some Soft Touch to put over your embroidery design on the shirt. It finishes it and it feels soft to the skin.
You can use No Show Mesh Stabilizer instead of the Cut Away Stabilizer so the design is not stiff on your shirts.
Is it hard to use? I want to get one but I don’t sew.
