    Thank you for this information, you made some really great points. I have a very small single needle business and am really itching to get a multi needle. Unfortunately, my business needs to pay for it and I am no where near those numbers yet. I feel encouraged after watching your videos!

    Thread costs - $1 per 1000 stitches is pretty rich when a 1000 met spool of thread costs you $5, that means you are only paying $.04 per 1000 stitches - based on this from Madeira threads - To stitch 1000 stitches in Madeira Classic 40 you will need approximately 5 meters of top thread and 3 meters of under thread.
    A bobbin holds about 130 meters of 60 wt thread

      This comment right here. This just boosted me. Agh. Gave me some motivation. Thank you. I’m working on it. Crazy thing is lately youtube stopped pushing my videos. Looking at my back end my numbers have literally been cut in half. About a month and a half ago I was averaging 5k subs every 30 days. Now it dropped down to about 2300. I’ll get there. Slow and steady. I’m trying to figure out what I did to screw things up but I haven’t quite figured it out yet. Either way I’m still gonna make videos because I just like making videos. Thank you for the encouragement. 100k is a life goal. Lol slow and steady. Thanks you Jayvian.

    • @ryajordan4804

      I would divide the price per item. If you have 100 sheets of stabilizer (at $25 a pack -just throwing a number out there) and you typically use one sheet for a job… 25/100= is .25 cents a sheet. So that would be the cost for stabilizer for each shirt. (You can pad the cost as he says)

    If we do our own digitizing, how should we set pricing in the set up cost?

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Год назад

      Determine the flat fee you charge for set up based off of your competition, how good you are at digitizing and how much your time is worth. Once you determine that price step back and analyze whether or not you think people are willing to pay that dollar amount for set up and digitizing.
