Thank you for this information, you made some really great points. I have a very small single needle business and am really itching to get a multi needle. Unfortunately, my business needs to pay for it and I am no where near those numbers yet. I feel encouraged after watching your videos!
As usual, another informative video. I especially like the phrase "garment decorating equipment." Also, congrats to your mom. A bullseye in axe throwing is very impressive!
Thread costs - $1 per 1000 stitches is pretty rich when a 1000 met spool of thread costs you $5, that means you are only paying $.04 per 1000 stitches - based on this from Madeira threads - To stitch 1000 stitches in Madeira Classic 40 you will need approximately 5 meters of top thread and 3 meters of under thread. A bobbin holds about 130 meters of 60 wt thread
Been watching your videos for a couple months now, the production quality and knowledge shared is amazing. I appreciate you and shop through your links when I can!
pad your time aka, calculating in the error percentage to your price. Human error are allowed to calculate upto 15% error. So you will add that to the price.
Thanks Allen. I’ve been watching your videos. They are very informative. I’ll be looking at a Riicoma machine in the future. Your videos give me lots of information.😊😊😊
This comment right here. This just boosted me. Agh. Gave me some motivation. Thank you. I’m working on it. Crazy thing is lately youtube stopped pushing my videos. Looking at my back end my numbers have literally been cut in half. About a month and a half ago I was averaging 5k subs every 30 days. Now it dropped down to about 2300. I’ll get there. Slow and steady. I’m trying to figure out what I did to screw things up but I haven’t quite figured it out yet. Either way I’m still gonna make videos because I just like making videos. Thank you for the encouragement. 100k is a life goal. Lol slow and steady. Thanks you Jayvian.
I would divide the price per item. If you have 100 sheets of stabilizer (at $25 a pack -just throwing a number out there) and you typically use one sheet for a job… 25/100= is .25 cents a sheet. So that would be the cost for stabilizer for each shirt. (You can pad the cost as he says)
Hi! I’m stuck with this problem and can’t seem to find an answer anywhere. I just got my machine and when I’m stitching out my designs, the shirt is still visible through the thread. It looks as if the colors aren’t being fully filled. Any tips would be incredible!
@Brandy Beddingfield I watched a RUclips video earlier today and the presenter was talking about Floriani color keep topping. starter. She said it helped the colors be prominent.
Mr wade do you think it’s possible to make a patch that somewhat embroids in a corded like pattern like from corded pants. Not sure if I’m asking this the correct way
You can check companies like alphabroder, or s&s active wear to see what they have to offer. I don’t have prices off hand but i do know that the prices vary depending on the quality of the garment.
How much should I charge my uncle for giving me 30 days to learn how to use the ricoma fully and teach him everything I learned. In 3-4 days I learned how to work the machine and do designs but still need to get how to align the design rights
thank you for making this video right after i asked because i really didnt know what to charge and the products we all purchase isn't cheap..Your really good thank you for you help. im always using your name on Amazon and Heat Presa Nation..I wish you was my neighbor LOL ..Thank you Thank you infinity ♾ 🙏 ❤
LOL i asked 5 days ago but alot of people were asking the samething..your really good with answering our questions maybe you should think about podcast or facebook live etc. and have people ask you questions about crafting you have a lot of information seriously 🤔 you should think about it😉
Determine the flat fee you charge for set up based off of your competition, how good you are at digitizing and how much your time is worth. Once you determine that price step back and analyze whether or not you think people are willing to pay that dollar amount for set up and digitizing.

$30 to digitize/set up. And $2 per 1K since or as I say to customers $2 per inch on the design.
Great advice right here. Thank you.
I like your introduction video to your videos
Thanks for this information, I was hoping that you would touch on this subject.
You are welcome. I had to. I was getting asked often. Glade I finally got around to making this video. It’s a good point of reference to have to have.
We charge .01 a stitch $ 1.00 a thousand stitches - $ 1.00 to hoop $ 1.00 for backing
Very informative. Im New. I follow you a lot with starting my business.
Thanks. Great work.
Thank you for all the information! 7:03 I’m still trying to figure out how to price supplies because I tend to buy things in bulk to save $

No problem Lucy Lu.
I’m learning from you. I’m new to this thanks for sharing ❤
You’re welcome. Thank you for watching.
Excellent advice. I haven't made anything really for alot of customers because I'm still learning my machine.
Oh ok. Let me know what you need to learn I’ll make some videos on it.
take a $5. hat, 2 colors total of 6,108 stitches. 48 hats. about 6 hours total.
Do you think $12.50 each is too much or too little or OK ? Totals $600
This was ABSOLUTELY GREAT info! So simple....1, 2, and 3! Thank you for all you do! We really appreciate you!
is the thread case still available? I didnt see it on your site

Hi I need help please. So I made a purchase on etsy embroidery monogram . Want to use my se600. How do I go about it thanks
Load up the .pes file on a flash drive and put it in your embroidery machine. If that does not work contact the seller for technical support.
@@adubbproductions thanks for such quick respond. I will let you know how it goes
Nooo no problem. Is the file you purchased a .pes file? The .pes format is the file type that works with your brothers se600.
How much are blank polo shirts and where do we get them from?
You can check companies like alphabroder, or s&s active wear to see what they have to offer. I don’t have prices off hand but i do know that the prices vary depending on the quality of the garment.
I charge $2.50/1000, garment cost , and set fee.
How much should I charge my uncle for giving me 30 days to learn how to use the ricoma fully and teach him everything I learned. In 3-4 days I learned how to work the machine and do designs but still need to get how to align the design rights
He has offered me $400 and given me $100 from seeing progress. Should I learn it all and ask for more before teaching him?
@@jorgethecow5130 That's your uncle. He is your mother's brother. Without me knowing the dynamic of your relationship I would do it for free.
Im not sure about free but if you did want to so it for cheap at least let him cover the cost
What do you charge for a small patch?
Good info glad I made the choice to get a multi needle
Thanks. Did you get your delivery date? I get mine on Monday. Yours should have shipped with mine.
@@adubbproductions FRIDAY JULY 23 MY BRO.
I got a New brother machine, but my needle keeps breaking or the fabric got stuck in the machine. I dont know What i’m doing wrong
You mostly likely are trying to embroidery with the sewing foot. Put the embroidery foot on.
So helpful
Do you train people to learn the machine
Yes I do. Besides making videos on RUclips if you’d like 1 on 1 video training you can schedule at www.adubbproductions.com

Best thing you will ever do. It’s always a good idea to start your own anything.
You are a great inspiration and explain in detail for that I want to thank you
If you don't want no headache with price people try china lol easy 🤣 no nonsense there and you'll get it professionally done
If we do our own digitizing, how should we set pricing in the set up cost?
Determine the flat fee you charge for set up based off of your competition, how good you are at digitizing and how much your time is worth. Once you determine that price step back and analyze whether or not you think people are willing to pay that dollar amount for set up and digitizing.
