So if you buy the shirts, you charge double the price??
Also I’m starting off with a single threader machine 😅 brother se630. So very time consuming

You have to test your market to see what price works best in your area. The key is to make sure you are covering your cost of goods and your time. It is possible to run a business with a single-needle machine, but it does take a bit more time to create the designs. Best of luck in your business venture!

I’m new to it all and have a Bro SE625 being shipped! How is it time consuming?

@@LaLavender25 When you use a single needle machine it takes more time as you have to change out your thread with each color change. Multi-needle machines hold 6 - 10 spools of thread and automatically change the colors.

I charged $1 per thousand stitches 10 years ago. Have prices not gone up for embroidery or is this an old video? Just wondering.

This is a new video as of 2023. You are welcome to charge what your market will allow. Reva was sharing what she found was a price she was comfortable charging that allows her to make a profit while being seen as "affordable" which brings in more work. As prices of materials are starting to increase your price per thousand might also need to go up.
