So do you think 87!is better than 97? You have Crosby some serious praise, which I can’t disagree with, but McDavid could’ve had hands, and hockey IQ, and hand eye. Great video.
Love the video, so many great players to choose from. For me Chara is the strongest player and it isn't even close in my opinion, even at 43, he is still the beast.
Not even a leafs fan, but Matthews shot is insane... It's so fucking clean and fun to watch. I mean there's a lot of great shooters in the NHL, you name it (Tarasenko, Laine, Paccioretty, Ovechkin, Stamkos, ...) but Matthew's wrister has something special, you've gotta admit that.
My opinion don't hate Shot: Ovechkin (obviously) Strength: Chara (obviously) speed: Mcdavid, but not if Larkin was in his prime slapshot: Chara again Hands: For some reason I'd say Marchand IQ: Matthews defence: dunno maybe Doughty (I don't know many defensemen) skating: Bergeron Playmaking: Crosby. I think This is a good list
I’m a Crosby fan personally, but you have to give ovechkin the best wrist shot. You said it yourself, he’s the leagues best goal scorer. The only excuse I can think of is that you can put one player for multiple spots and you wanted to save him for slapshot. If that’s true then why did you say you would put crosby for 4 or 5 spots if you could.
It’s 100% Bergeron if we are talking about defensive forwards. Defenseman are complicated, and I know he doesn’t hold any leading stats defensively, but my number one pick for a defenseman outside of Makar would 100% have to be Hedman. HOF caliber d-man who can play every role.

Gotta show some love to my Flyers I think G could be up there (not saying they're the best) for IQ and Hands, Coots and Provorov for defense. Also I'd love to see this for goaltending, post to post, glove, stick, IQ, Passing/stick handling.
should’ve mentioned mark stone in hockey IQ he’s one of the smartest players in the NHL.
Caleb Hofer do it then no one can even come close to stone when it comes to stealing the puck he leads the league in takeaways every year he might not score 50 goals every season but when it comes to hockey IQ he is amazing
Nick Faulkner exactly he is also one of the best 2 way players
Caleb Hofer drew doughty and mark giordano aren’t the smartest 🤔
Caleb Hofer lmao you’re just naming decent hockey players you didn’t name any towards that play with the defensive mindset that stone plays with when it comes to reading a play almost nobody can compare to stone he has a unique style that none of those players you named play with
Backstrom is def towards that play and is wayyy above “decent” tou clown. Definitely has a better hockey IQ than stone
Andreas Anthanisou is definitely worth a mention in the speed category. flew by larkin in all the red wings games i went to
Also goalies have the best hands just saying
As a Sharks fan I have to disagree
You could do goalie attributes:glove, blocker, puck skills(best handling the puck),stick saves, low saves
I'm sorry, but Nikolaj Ehlers has the fastest speed record for any skater ever in the NHL please go look at his speed times in the Jets skills competition for the past 2 years. Nobody has ever been faster than that
All time NHL list

the man's an absolute unit
Skating - McDavid
Speed - seriously?
Slapshot - Ovi
Wristshot - Matthews
Hockey IQ - Crosby
Playmaking - McDavid
Defense - The Stars
Hands - Draisaitl
Strength - Tckuk
Passing - Draisaitl
i.e., dude, you're watching the wrong conference.
Cant beat mac in the skating department but fiala, zucker. Both these guys are unreal speed and sharing wise
Boeser should have been in the conversation for wrist shot
and I think quinn hughes would be a good fit for the defence category because he can get back into his own zone so quickly and he stops so many goals
I like this format, but you could split it up even more and add more categories! And make a refreshed list. 😊👍
I think strength shoulda gone to big Buff. U can tell he holds off on hits including the mark stone hit. Ryan reaves is close but buff is definitely the strongest. Players have said u can tell he holds back when he hits u even stone said that to about the hit on him
Also honorable mention for playmaking definitely Blake Wheeler. Huge jets fan and his playmaking ability along side Laine and Connor has proven to be very helpful leading the jets to a deep playoff run loosing to the knights in the conference finals
Ohnyquist I would go with either Connor McDavid or Sidney Crosby or Alex Ovechkin for best hands
Ohnyquist my pick for strongest player would be either Zdeno Chara Tom Wilson Roman Polak Dustin Byfuglien or Milan Lucic
More categories: puck protection, offensive and defensive awareness, quick release, dangles, hitting, goaltending,
" his back hand is just disgusting" lol shit ohnyquist u make some good content..gotta appreciate ur vids while the world faces this global pandemic..stay safe
Marc staal for best defense men.
Laine has the best wrist shot!!! Prove me wrong.
So do you think 87!is better than 97?
You have Crosby some serious praise, which I can’t disagree with, but McDavid could’ve had hands, and hockey IQ, and hand eye. Great video.
Top 20 nhl players this season would be a good vid
Wheres Matt barzal for skating, the way he can move and make space in the offensive zone by just his right space skating is incredible
What watch Jonny hockey last all str skills competition
I watched the 2010 Olympics. It was awesome
I would’ve picked crosby for skating. Did you see when he anklebreaked mackinnon?
Crosby should have been the best skater no doubt
It’s 100% Bergeron if we are talking about defensive forwards. Defenseman are complicated, and I know he doesn’t hold any leading stats defensively, but my number one pick for a defenseman outside of Makar would 100% have to be Hedman. HOF caliber d-man who can play every role.
Checking/Fighting? Just curious to see what your opinion would be
Is Crosby non existent for skating?
Skilled: tavares or johnny hockey ???
Crosby for skating you missed some but you got him for 3 so it’s ok anyways great video!
