Yeah agreed bro, but i would be curious about super Mario staying healthy his whole career, cause he's the only one who is comparable with the great one, but totally agreed.

Come on...In points per game, Lemieux equal him. And don't forget that Gretzky played with an All-Star team 10 years, while Lemieux was playing for the worst team of the league. And lot of people forget players from USSR. Valeri Kharlamov, Fetisov at the blue line, Tretiak in goals...
1. Crosby should not be higher than Jagr 2. Peter Forsberg isn’t even on the list 3. I’m pretty Gretzky has more than 1000 points lmao Just don’t make hockey videos if can’t even make them accurate.
Hey it's me Nola W!! Because almost every time they do sports, they prefer to pick US athletes and teams rather than actually looking through the stats globally.
TeamS yes yes. a thousand times yes. Vladislav tretjak is the best goalie of all time but he didnt play in the us so hes completely ignored. All the great soviets like valeri charlamov, boris michailov, vladimir krutov etc. could arguably make this list
Hasek is considered by most who have played the game or followed it as the best goalie ever. His 6 Vezina Trophy's as the leagues top goalie, two Hart Trophies as the best player (nominated 3 times), 2 Stanley Cups, a gold medal at the Olympics when his team had no business winning and the highest save percentage in history (during a high scoring period to) says it all.

He wasn’t called the dominator for nothing… and they didn’t have him in a credit card commercial with the adage of “Having a slinky for a spine…priceless.” Hasek and Roy were my 2 favorite goalies to watch in their era.
I would also like to point out that the year Bobby Orr entered the league, the NHL doubled in size. From 6 to 12. The NHL knew he was going to be special and he was a brand ambassador for the league at that time. No other player has done that.
Orr played on an established stanley cup contender when the league doubled . The NHL had been watered down big time. When Gretzky came into the NHL he and the oilers came from the WHA who were conciderd second rate. In 5 years the Oilers were Stanley cup champions with Gretzky was the greatest already. Better than Orr . Yes Orr was the best rushing defense ever at that time . He was not the best defense defender. Gretzky will never have his points ever beaten . When Gretzky returned at 38 his back killing him for years. He had 61 records the only one he didn't have was goalie records.
The league didn't expand because of Bobby. What are you talking about. The league added 6 teams in his second year, 2 teams in his fifth year, 2 teams in his seventh year and 2 more in his ninth year. Are you seriously saying that Bobby is responsible for all that? The only reason he did what he did is because the league was so watered down. Imagine what Wayne would have done if 12 teams joined the league in his first nine years. The league expanded because they were worried another league was going to start (WHA) and they hoped expansion would help get a TV deal. It wasn't because of Bobby.
How so? He was playing for a militarized hockey team, likely using steroids too... If he wasn't part of the USSR would he he even be known by any human living in North America?
Valeri is a hard candidate to consider because he was killed in a car accident so it's hard to say if he would've gone on to be in the top 10, and the team definitely did not take steroids, Anatoli Tarasov would not allow such a thing. Oh and Tarasov forever changed the way the game was played but that's another story.
The real Top 10 is 1. Gretzky 2. Orr 3. Howe 4. Lemieux 5. Maurice Richard 6. Jean Beliveau 7. Bobby Hull 8. Guy Lafleur 9. Patrick Roy 10. Sidney Crosby Honourable Mentions Eddie Shore Jaromir Jagr Stan Mikita Doug Harvey
I don't think they're really comparing positions. This list is geared towards most influential players (best players) of their eras in which they changed the way the game was played.
Bobby Orr was better and a bigger game changer than either of them. Lemieux and Gretzky did what everyone else was doing but they were better at it. However, the current game is descended directly from Bobby Orr with the top Dman QBing the PP.
I think his injuries during the 2000s and late entry into the NHL diminished his chances of getting onto this list. Definitely would be on a top 25 list, though.
Peter is my favorite of all time, but I am sorry to say... He is not a top 10 of all time. Top 15 would be debatable... Either way, I will always admire Peter the great and his style of play.
To me mario lemieux is ranked number 1 on my list even though he didn't accomplish as much as some of those players due to health unfortunately.. Lemieux could single handedly and absolutely dominate a game on a regular basis in his prime, he was a big player with a lot of skills for sure and he could really skate.. And Patrick Roy is the only goalie I think maybe to lead their teams to a championship as ''the guy" multiple times, it's not often that happens for sure..actually even though Tim Thomas is not on that list he's another goalie to do that too but he didn't have long career in the NHL and also Jonathan quick too is another goaltender to do that and he hasn't made this list but he's still currently playing.. And to me goaltender Dominik Hasek should have definitely made this list.. and Nick Lindstrom definitely has a case too..
@@LIBREPUB Another player that awesome was Sergei Federov, he was an elite 2 way center/forward one of the best 2 way forwards of all time, he was an absolute phenomenal skater and he could either forward or defenseman at a high level.
I mean, I can make an argument for him over Orr or Howe, maybe, if I absolutely had to, but how can you possibly rank him ahead of Gretzky? Honestly, I usually place him in that fourth slot myself.
Had he been healthy with no back issues or cancer we all know he would have smashed the majority of waynes records and Wayne has said as much. Wayne said he could never score the goals Mario could because he could not score with three men hanging on him. Mario could. Sometimes i wish he never came back because he ruined his unatainable stat +2 points per game when he retired in 97. that is why everyone including gretzky all thought Mario was the best. Mario never had the lineup Wayne had around him. He did later but he was so riddled with injuries by then but was still better than everyone on the ice.
this is more of a tribute to the ole timers of today. we all know Nick is the greatest Dman of all time. Yes, better than Orr. If Orr was playing today, he would be a center.
HA HA HA HA HA! I wore #69. lol I chose it because I skated for The Beavers. When you skate for a team named The Beavers, what other number is there?!!!
If Lemieux had a team around him from the start of his carreer like Gretsky did his numbers would look fake. But, being a singleton on a basically godawful team made him easy meat for opposing teams defense and yet he still posted crazy numbers. Wayne was a hockey machine, Mario was a hockey artist.
@@jpecci4832 Thank you! Mr Orr was never a player to sneeze at, his game stats, footage and his cup winning goal in 1970 cements his status. But, for the first half of Mario's career he was operating in basically a talent vacuum. The toll that took on his body was terrible, the opposing defense, at times, basically TRIPLE teamed him using a winger to help out. Clutch, grab, dangle, molest and hell, they didn't even buy him breakfast or give him cab fare. If 1/20th of that nonsense was pulled on gretsky the player who did so would still be sitting in the penalty box.
Gordie Howe will always be my favorite player. Always. But what Gretzky did...... destroyed the records, won titles, changed how the game was played, and helped make the game mainstream. His being the greatest is legit.
@Timothy Doblin Not really a hard list. Just have to play in Pittsburgh a majority of the career, like 3 on the list, where others, like Brett Hull can not even get a honorable mention.
1. Wayne Gretzky 2. Bobby Orr 3. Gordie Howe 4. Mario Lemioux 5. Mark Messier 6. Sidney Crosby 7. Jaromir Jagr 8. Peter Forsberg 9. Maurice Richard 10. Phil Esposito XXX. Patrick Kane (my fav) My own list
because wayne has evry record scored more points faster more goals faster 9 mvp's 61 records higher ppg despite playing more games after prime, higher gpg if you take away his last 5 years has as many points in 9 seasons as mario did in 17 seasons has more assists than mario has points has 4 more 200 point seasons, if never got hit in 1991 would have been a bigger gap has twice as many Stanley cups never played with jagr or ron francis scored 205 points in 74 games scored 50 goals in 39 games scored 50 goals in 42 games scored 153 points in 51 games i could go on but i think you get the point
take away half of waynes points hes less than 300 points behind mario, 2nd faster player to score 1000 points behind him self became the all time points leader at the age of 28 jagr was 44 messier was 43 at that point. was named mvp of the 87 canada cup. has 47 points in the playoffs scored 92 goals 87 goals ill stop there with goals 215 points 205 points 212 points 208 points 190 something in there add a couple of more 180's in there
Mario is my favorite player and I gotta put bias aside. Gretzky's career goals and career points are ridiculous numbers. It's possible but highly unlikely they will ever be broken. 50 career hat-tricks is looking like it's gonna stand forever as well. No-one in the current game is even close.
I think Mario Lemieux was the best player of time. After dominating the league he retired due to cancer for years. Then he came back. Who knows what he could’ve done if he hadn’t missed those seasons. Wayne Gretzky admitted he would most likely have more points than himself.
wanyne never said such a thing dont make stuff up wanye said he was a better goal scorer than him just so that mario would gain confidence in him self and not pass the puck during a scoring chance. if you think mario is a better goal scorer compare their stats their first 15 years its not close ok last 5 years of waynes carreer when wayne was in his late 30's fine ill give you that much
I did hear Gretzky say that Mario was exactly the same player as Gretzky except he had the height/size advantage over him. His points per game was just a bit below Gretzky's and I think if he played the same amount of games as Gretzky he would be like maybe 50 points behind something he could easily beat in 1 extra season. Or the times would catch up to Mario and the overall change of the game would slow Mario down just a bit. But in terms of potential Mario is probably the Greatest of all time or like 1b. Its too bad he got injured and no doubt he would have brought Pittsburgh 1 or 2 more cups. But that means Pittsburgh doesnt get Crosby and that would have been very interesting.
I can think of a lot of guys I'd put on the list before Esposito. Excellent, HoF player but nowhere close to the top 10. Better than Lidstrom, Dionne, Lafleur, Selanne, Forsberg, Bure, Ovechkin, Bobby Clarke, Perreault, Potvin, Trottier, Bossy, Beliveau, Bobby Hull, Mikita, Hasek, Yzerman? Not a chance. and the list should be called best NHL players.
In context for what he did for the game, a trailblazer who was the first to score 100pts in a season setting the standard for those that followed. He definitely belongsbin the top 10...
Lemieux was definitely better than Gretzky, he had the same hockey sense and brute talent. He was annoyed by cancer and injuries and did not had the power house the oilers had. I am not taking anything from The 99, just saying Lemieux was better.
Ya only not a single stat line puts Mario over Gretzky at 915 games played Lemieux was half a point per game worse at 1.88to gretzkys 2.35... 1000 points 100 games faster twice for gretzkys and 11 seasons above 1.9 ppg to Lemieuxs 6 ... so yeah Lemieux was not a chance better not by a single stat line... Gretzky has the best goals created and assists per game and points per game Lemieux is second in goals per game and stands atop no stat category... there is no numerical value that makes Lemieux better
@@thebullfighter6733 I guess some people think without a painful back and cancer in his prime he'd have a much higher ppg average. It's a big what-if that we'll never know for certain.
It's hard to argue with #99 as the greatest player ever. He has records that might stand forever and he was the centerpiece of a dynasty. Orr is often mention as the GOAT, but his career was far too short. He probably only had about 6 years healthy. He was extraordinary, but that's not enough of a body of work.
He won the rookie of the year award and was a 2nd team all-star in 1966-67 as an 18 year old. Then he won the Norris Trophy the next 8 years being a 1st team all star. He was a +582 in his 657 games. To compare Gretzky is +520 in 1487 games.
Let's see 8 consecutive Norris Trophies, 2 Stanley Cups, The Calder, a few Hart Trophy's, MVP of the Canada Cup and he led the league in scoring twice as a defenseman. How many Selke awards did Gretzky get? Oh that would be zero!
@@karlschneider9479 The most important award is the Hart. Gretzky won 9. Orr won 3. Gretzky won 4 Stanley Cups. Orr won 2. Orr was as much a forward as he was a defenseman. He retired with 645 assists. Gretzky had 1,963. Lidstrom is 1 Norris trophy behind Orr. So is Doug Harvey. When Orr came in the league there were 6 teams. There's no comparison in careers, although Orr was brilliant when healthy.
Lemieux , Gretzky and Bobby Orr, just one thing we have to remember, Mario was injured for a lot of games with is back , had a cancer and miss not far than a year, and stop to play for 4 years before is come back in 2000. Just imagine the statistics he would had if he play all these games (all around 350 more)and if he had the chance to play with Paul Coffey, Mark Messier, Glen Anderson ect......oufff crazy, this magicien have a season of 282 points at is last junior season....wow
he played with jagr and coffee messeir wasnt on waynes line and wayne played way more injured than mario did look at the waynes stats post 1991 post canada cup suter hit yes mario wayne played 8 seasons without a back
Hasek doesnt even get an HM? Hello? The Dominator? The one who carried Buffalo to the finals and won the Vezina 5 times? Not to mention his cup wins with Detroit
My top 10 1. Bobby Orr 2. Mario Lemieux 3. Guy Lafleur 4. Gordie Howe 5. Wayne Gretzky 6. Maurice Richard 7. Sidney Crosby 8. Ray Bourque 9. Jean Beliveau 10. Alex Ovechkin
My List: 1. Orr 2. Gretzky 3. Lemieux 4. Howe 5. Richard 6. Jagr 7. Messier 8. Crosby 9. Ovechkin 10. Lidstrom Just a couple of footnotes, I have no problem reversing #1 and #2 Lemieux is very close to #1 and #2 and would have had 2500 points if it were not for injury and health problems Gotta put Crosby and Ovechkin back to back, Ovechkin could surpass Crosby as Crosby seems to be slowing a bit.
Mike Bossy only an honourable mention wtf?? the man averaged 57 goals a season over his entire career scoring less than 50 only once, in his final season he bagged 39 with 2 bad knees and back..... EPIC
As a Pens-fans, there is no one better than Mario Lemieux. He saves our franchise twice. Without him there would be no Pittsburgh Penguins. No one can ever top that.
He bought the team came back and also mentored the next generation. I may be from Dayton Ohio but I grew up worshipping 66 and 68 even Gretz admitted that Mario might have been better....but cancers a b#@$_ and he beat it. Mario Lemieux is the city of Pittsburgh.
Are you fucking kidding me? Jaromir Jagr on 8th position? He has 1921 points in NHL (2nd all time). 24 seasons playing NHL and you gave him to 8th position? You dont know nothing about hockey I see
Mac O Bazzi I've never seen a team own the center of the ice like Detroit in the late 90s early 00s. Hardest team to get into the zone against.. No one has ever been able to replicate. Lidstroms the man, defies gravity he does..
Mac O Bazzi 1. Howe 2. The god AKA steve yzerman 3. Sawchuck 4. Nick lidström 5. Lindsay 6. Delvecchio 7. Zetterberg... yea you're right, but what about Montreal Canadiens?
Unfortunately, I never got to see him when he played because I wasn’t yet born, but I’ve watched plenty of video footage of the guy. From what I’ve gathered, he was to his era what Ovi’s been to ours, but with way more Stanley Cups to show for it. Both are/were amazingly creative scoring machines!
Teemu Selänne should be on the list if not for anything else then for his amazing rookie year goal and points record that will probably never be broken. and also for being the second best European nhl player ever when looking at points in his career
I lived in Winnipeg when Teemu was there and man, I love me some Teemu but he is not in the ten best players in history. Even though he is the only player to hold the most goals and most points in one season records for two different franchises.
Sorry, as good as Gretzky was, he was a one-dimensional player. Bobby Orr played both offense and defense but he revolutionized how the position was played.
Mario Lemieux should be first. Ask Wayne and he would tell you the same. Mario was the perfect combination of power and finesse and talent put together. Just saying
Maybe you should call it "Top-10 NHL Players of all time"? There were lots of top-players in *Soviet Union* who couldn't go to USA: *Valeri Kharlamov* , Vladislav Tretiak, Boris Mikhailov, Veniamin Alexandrov etc.
You do not even mention Stan Mikita? The man who invented the curved stick? The reason goalies wear masks? If that didn't have an effect on the game..........seriously, what does it take?
He didn't mention Canadiens PP in the 50's, with Béliveau, Boom Boom Geoffrion (inventor of slapshot), Maurice Richard (first to score 50 goals in 50 games), Doug Harvey, for whom the Norris has been created. Before them, a penalty lasted the whole 2 minutes. But... We were so dominating, scoring 3-4 goals per PP that the league changed the rule...
As someone who not only is a die heart Penguin's fan but who is very close friends and basically lives on the weekends, with the families who live on either side of Crosby (he *still* hasn't trimmed his hedges) and actually lives a block away from Lemieux, I think I can safely say this list is a bit off.......
Not true! Orr and Lemieux better than Gretzky! In 1980s Gretzky's time NHL 8 goals per game! So easy to score! Goalies were bad and small! Ovechkin ERA NHL 5,3-6 goals per game! So difficult to score! If Ovechkin had played in high scoring 1980s he would have scored over 1000 goals easily! Connor McDavid would score 240 points regular season! In 1980s Gretzky's time 90% of the NHL players were from Canada! Today under 60% of the NHL players from Canada! Much tougher league today! The Soccer Game 250 million players! Gretzky's Canada only 650000 hockey players! The Soccer All Stars would beat Gretzky easily 100 game series 93-7! Gretzky played only against players from Canada! Gretzky is the best in Canada only not the whole world! Soccer 4 billion fans around the world! Cricket 2 billion fans!
Like most of your videos, inaccurate. Geordie Howe is arguably the best, so he should be 2nd. And putting Sidney Crosby above Esposito, messier, and Jagr? Seriously?
Excluding injuries, the best players ever in terms of their best years: 1)Gretzky 2)Lemieux 3) Orr 4) Howe 5) Richard. Howe had arguably the best career but that’s just because he played for a ridiculous 32 years. 32!!
Orr is overrated, played against garbage players with no goaltending. Gretzky and Lemieux are 1, 2 (those two are obvious) and i think 90% of analysts would agree. Many say Mario was a more purely skilled hockey player than Gretzky. Sid also deserves to be top 6 or so. He plays in a low scoring, highly skilled era of hockey and continues to average above a point with ease every year. I think he's 6 or so all time surrounded by players from the old era when people put up 150 points a year
@@Datduuudeee Just because the players he played against were crap doesn't mean he's overrated. Did you see some of the games Gretzky played in the early 80s when he had most of his best seasons? Orr is arguably #1 but no worse than #3.
My top 10 goes like this: 1. Bobby Orr (Guy completely controlled and revolutionized the game. had +574 in 631 games played. That should tell you what it was like... he bent the game over) 2. Wayne Gretzky (Even if you took away all his goals, he'd sill have the most points ever) 3. Mario Lemiuex 4. Mike Bossy (highest goals per game ever, and had a point per game figure only behind Lemiuix and Gretzky. I think it's safe to say his offense compensated for, or WAS his defensive. 5. Gordie Howe 6. Jaromir Jagr 7. Mark Messier (can't forget what they didn't explain in this video: Guy was the best leader the sport has ever seen, and legendary clutch) 8. Peter Foresberg (underrated due to missing games from injury. Was a complete player, and also also had a 1.25 points per game for his career) 9. Dominick Hasek (I think he was more impactful to his team then Roy, and didn't have the same defensive resources, which explains Roy's overall better save percentage. I think the dominator was more talented and stunning. 10. 3 way tie, between Joe Sakic, Steve Yzerman, Brian Leetch. There are a lot of players at the level of these three, but their playoff clutch and leadership separates them from the rest. Sorry, I'm a little bias against some of the older guys like Ratelle. I just think they were wolves among sheep. What are all of your top 10? Should I have included Dionne?
You’re Canadien yet Mario is number 4? I’m a lifelong Philadelphia flyer fan. He’s number 2 and can not be put lower on any list. Y’all need to apologize.

Hasek and Roy were my 2 favorite goalies to watch in their era.
when Ovechkin sees this video .... lol
He know he sucks so he doesn’t have too
As a die hard Pens fan, that was freaking hysterical😆😆😆😆👍👍
I hope the Habs capitalize on you if you catch my meaning
This video was made before he won his cup and moved way up the record books. He's easily in the top 7 players ever
A defenseman winning the Art Ross is like an NL pitcher winning a batting title. Bobby Orr was unreal.
Yeah, underappreciated from younger people I think
Great analogy!
@@JBatesProductions agree
Hockey players. No USSR. Bravo.
MOnTIrOVkO only one worth mentioning is Valeri Kharlamov and even he isn’t Top 10
^ The truth right there!
Alex Will he def is top 10
Sid has won 2 times olympic gold and 3 times stanley cup, get your facts right
muhonen2 you expect watchmojo to have any hockey knowledge?
They are Canadian so...

Charlie Nelson get you Canadian stereotypes out of here
Also Wayne Gretzky apparently had NEARLY 1000 points and 894 goals. Not a playmaker I guess

Gab Page it was a joke
I’m a flyers fan yes, but he’s not one of the best players ever. Maybe one of the best goalies but even then he’s probably not in the top ten
Red Star Crosby has more points than Jagr did at that age, and he plays in a faster and harder league
Cippy YT this is not a harder league.
Where's Dominik Hasek?

RJ Pugs wished they showed Osgood beating Roy's ass and also no Hasek??
Yzerman is CLEARLY one of the greatest of all time and should've AT LEAST gotten an Honorable Mention.
Where’s Beliveau and Lafleur?!

Chad Johnson I don’t argue with stupidity.
Should done it by positions... you cant compare a goalies and forwards and defense at the same time
I don't think they're really comparing positions. This list is geared towards most influential players (best players) of their eras in which they changed the way the game was played.
Lemieux is #2 otherwise the list is good.

Bobby Orr was better and a bigger game changer than either of them. Lemieux and Gretzky did what everyone else was doing but they were better at it. However, the current game is descended directly from Bobby Orr with the top Dman QBing the PP.

PETER FORSBERG?
I know right? He's not on any of their hockey lists, ridiculous.
I think his injuries during the 2000s and late entry into the NHL diminished his chances of getting onto this list. Definitely would be on a top 25 list, though.
Sorry but people like Lidstrom and Ken Dryden, etc... beat him out. His injuries bar his place on the list
Peter is my favorite of all time, but I am sorry to say... He is not a top 10 of all time. Top 15 would be debatable... Either way, I will always admire Peter the great and his style of play.
Sakic as well?
I agree 100% Lemieux was the more dominant players I mean he beat team by himself
I'd put him At #2 behind #99, but man he was fun to watch. If I were drafting a team for todays game, it's Super Mario #1 all day. GO PENS!!!!!

Without goalies:
Mario
Greztky
Crosby
Jagr
Bure

Had he been healthy with no back issues or cancer we all know he would have smashed the majority of waynes records and Wayne has said as much. Wayne said he could never score the goals Mario could because he could not score with three men hanging on him. Mario could. Sometimes i wish he never came back because he ruined his unatainable stat +2 points per game when he retired in 97. that is why everyone including gretzky all thought Mario was the best. Mario never had the lineup Wayne had around him. He did later but he was so riddled with injuries by then but was still better than everyone on the ice.

HA HA HA HA HA! I wore #69. lol I chose it because I skated for The Beavers. When you skate for a team named The Beavers, what other number is there?!!!
Winning comment.
Orr fan, but I agree with you totally. Lemieux is the #1 player I would build a team around
His being the greatest is legit.
steve yzerman isn’t even an honorable mention??? lol what is this list
I mean he is only the only player on the top 10 career points list who was not only nominated for a defensive award but won the selke award

He's one of my all time favz, but he didn't change how the game was played or set any standards. That's what the list is all about.

I think Mario Lemieux was the best player of time. After dominating the league he retired due to cancer for years. Then he came back. Who knows what he could’ve done if he hadn’t missed those seasons. Wayne Gretzky admitted he would most likely have more points than himself.
wanyne never said such a thing dont make stuff up wanye said he was a better goal scorer than him just so that mario would gain confidence in him self and not pass the puck during a scoring chance. if you think mario is a better goal scorer compare their stats their first 15 years its not close ok last 5 years of waynes carreer when wayne was in his late 30's fine ill give you that much
I think Wayne Gretzky was still better though.
@@kidpoker9408 I think that you are racist.
Wayne also said that Fuhr was the greatest goalie so.......
Teemu Selänne...? No? Ok....
So, if you're going to do this list, fine, but get your numbers right. Crosby has 3 Cups, not two...

Orr is often mention as the GOAT, but his career was far too short. He probably only had about 6 years healthy. He was extraordinary, but that's not enough of a body of work.
Your right….. Gordie is the goat
At least a honorable mention to Tim Horton too, Right?
Ray borque
Yzerman and borque
Very questionable list
Gretzky is on the mt. Rushmore of greatest athletes of all time. The goat in professional sports
Where’s John Scott!?!??!?!?!!!!?!?!
Hesham Rashid ya mojo. Knows nothing
I’ve been waiting for this comment
Patrick Kane is a Best Hockey Player in United States He is play the Chicago Blackhawks & Atlanta Thrashers 🇺🇸🇺🇸🏒🤩
My top 10 goes like this:
1. Bobby Orr (Guy completely controlled and revolutionized the game. had +574 in 631 games played. That should tell you what it was like... he bent the game over)
2. Wayne Gretzky (Even if you took away all his goals, he'd sill have the most points ever)
3. Mario Lemiuex
4. Mike Bossy (highest goals per game ever, and had a point per game figure only behind Lemiuix and Gretzky. I think it's safe to say his offense compensated for, or WAS his defensive.
5. Gordie Howe
6. Jaromir Jagr
7. Mark Messier (can't forget what they didn't explain in this video: Guy was the best leader the sport has ever seen, and legendary clutch)
8. Peter Foresberg (underrated due to missing games from injury. Was a complete player, and also also had a 1.25 points per game for his career)
I mean Bobby Orr is one of the best but I don’t think he is ahead of Gretzky
I like your list better... and what you said about Messier and Hasek is so true.
Only if Mario didn’t get destroyed by his back... #1 all time player would be hard to choose.
Or got cancer.
Or smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day
Just know if you were behind the net you were stepping in Gretzky‘s office 😂😂
Hey look it’s RUclips rewind 2019: hockey edition
heh
So Brodeur literally the best Goaltender in NHL doesn’t make the list...🤔
2nd best
@@jamespower1249 3rd best
4th best, clearly does not belong here.
He’s has the most wins in nhl history
@@vint4049 Hasek and Roy are better, period.
You’re Canadien yet Mario is number 4? I’m a lifelong Philadelphia flyer fan. He’s number 2 and can not be put lower on any list. Y’all need to apologize.
Wayne Gretzky is once again and will always be the greatest hockey player of all time otherwise known as "The Great One."
Damn straight
Missä selänne ja kurri
