One important thing to remember is that some of these could have been knockouts and not full kills at longer range. If you are hit in the brain by pretty much any round and do not have a helmet it is almost always instant death. I say travel light and don't over prep but remember that armor will save you. Came here to say i know alot of people say the visor doesn’t work but i have been shot in the face before and was only unconned for a bit before my buddies got me up only thing damaged was my visor I truly believe it makes a difference will still carry it just because it doesn’t take up space

All shotguns do the same damage, I did buckshot & slugs through the BK 133 and there was no change, but I only tested up close and didn't do ranged tests. I might do a test comparing range
hey how do i spawn npcs on the offline mode like u did and test them can u make a vid or respond on how to do that? my issue is that i cant aim my gun and i cant spawn them with things after i spawn the, and my game crashes
I rented a server from hosthavoc.com and installed vpp+ admin tools. If u watch the tutorial on how to use vpp+ admin tools it will show you how to spawn items & npcs. If i still had access to the server i'd make a video but sadly I ended my subscription a couple years ago
The real life equivalent to this helmet would be the Maska-1Sch which is steel. The shell can stop up to .308 anything higher will go through. The ballistic glass visor maybe would stop .45

The fact that you can tank a .308 from a longhorn blew my mind
I was needing this test but was hoping for the 133 with buckshot. That's what i main now it has the best stats for dmg and range

@@selectmelol thx and I've had horrible experiences with the Vaiga in some range situations. But the pump usually works better for range

Do you know if the visor makes any difference? I always pick it up but does it have its own hitbox and if so what calibers can it take?
No it doesn't have its own hitbox, not yet anyways. It's possible they could change it in later updates
i always assumed it increased the item HP but i could be completely wrong, there's a good chance it does absolutely nothing

Probably because its a shorter barrel than a rifle and doesnt have as much muzzle velocity
