The SSG 82 or in it's German name, "Scarfschutzengewehr 82" which meant "Sharpshooter Rifle 82". It wasn't made by Styer who also had a rifle prior that had the name naming structure as the SSG 69.
The difference between the 69 and 82 is that the 69 was built using Kar98K bolts that were left as surplus back in the 60s and they just refurbed it, slapped a new rotary mag design with it around a synthetic stock and made it the SSG 69 to be used by militaries and police force whereas the SSG 82 was made for the East German Stasi in mind first.

The Blaze can also be fired in double shot. So you shoot both .308 rounds at the same time. Great if you can successfully land both shots, so it can take down a player quickly. In single fire mode you can let off both shots without needing to leave your sights due to it not having a bolt vs other 308 rifles like the m70 tundra ot savanna. Making it one of the better rifles for players who are great at landing those shots. With its only downside is loading both shots back in. It can also be equipped with a generic Hunting Scope too.

That modernized AUG at 2:35 isn't based off the AuStyer (the Australian military's version) its just the AUG A3. Meaning it wouldn’t have the holes on the side to cool the gun like you said. They actually made a mistake with the in games model though. They're using the NATO version which only takes AR-15 style magazines. You can tell by the lack if a bolt release on the left side of the mag well. This means that the waffle mag shown on screen actually wouldn't seat or feed properly. Sorry, I'm a bit AUGtistic.

    - The EZ tranq gun based off a Liberator pistol.
    - Snake's customized officer M1911A1 and him whittling the pistol grip to use a knife for CQC.
    - Ocelot's dual Single Action Army and his revolver juggling skills.
    - The End's custom paratrooper Mosin Nagant with tranquilizer rounds.
    - The Davey Crockett recoil-less nuclear launcher.
    - Eva's chinese Type 17 mauser clone with her "bandit shooting" technique.
    - Volgin using his electricity to ignite and fire off 7.62mm bullets from his hands.
    - The Boss's quick ability to disarm and disassemble Snake's pistols.

I think the Vaiga reload is more plausible than Jonathan Ferguson, the keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries museum in the UK which houses a collection of thousands of iconic weapons throughout history gave it credit for. The character in the game rotates the gun 90 degrees so that the ejection port is almost straight up which means that the round can be tossed in with the left side of the chamber as the "bottom" to rest on and have it be less likely to flop out the magazine well of the gun than when it is being held upright. I don't have the gun to test it but I would think the different orientation would at least help with pulling it off.

Fun fact: the "zombies" in DayZ aren't actually zombies. They're still alive and are just "infected". The survivors are just immune. So, killing the infected doesn't require killing the brain or anything extra. Also, the Z in DayZ does not stand for zombies, instead it's for Zero referencing how to mod would show how many days you have survived.

DayZ = Day Zero for Infection and yes they can be call at Zombies/undead. DayZ was builded on concept of movie "28 days later" where infection spread through physical way and actualy kills most of the brain and left of primal sences. Survivors aren't Immune they just dont get physicaly infected.
Thats something DayZ mod and DayZ Standalone(alpha version of current game) had clearly visible on the table. If your character get infection and dies on infection. Character will get up after couple minutes and wander around like the other Zs with all your stuff except the weapon in your hand.
Sadly it's caused couple funny glitches where players characters after being reanimated were, actually immortal. You can shot them down and loot but they eventually get up back or make your next character having this glitch on in and never actually died.
And full release get rid of this function until they made it work correctly.

The best way ive found to do a single shell load on a Saiga 12 is, use your left hand gripping the reciever with your four fingers holding the shell in the magwel, while pressing upwards on the shell ( almost like your fingers are the magazine spring) pull back on the bolt untill it clears the shell and it pops right into place, gently let the bolt go home. With practice you can get very good at it. It is semi practical too because it allows you to have one in the chamber and then put in a full mag

The reason for a two barrel rifle is hunting. There are some places where it is illegal to hunt with self-loading or even bolt action rifles. Especially in Sub-Saharan Africa, where it is used as a measure to cut back on poaching.

1:58 No... it is not uncommon to see a Steyr AUG with an shorter barrel. Our Austrian Military Special Forces the Jagdkommando and our Police Special Forces EKO Cobra and WEGA have shorter barrels.
3:08 No.... That's the modernized version of the Steyr AUG A1 called Steyr AUG A3
3:20 You Only need to switch the Upper receiver from the classic A1 version from 1977 to the A2/A3 Version with the Rail (and the Handguard from Steyr Arms or Corvus Defensio) and you Updated your AUG. And no... you don't need to do "Surgery" to the Lower Receiver.

Also the Vz 61's bolt wasn't fully closed. I wonder what source material they used for the gun, because there shouldn't be a gap there at the top where the shells are ejected when the bolt is closed.

It's important to note that the zombies in DayZ are not undead, but infected people, similarly to those in 28 days/weeks later. So even a body shot can stop them, or just a simple headshot.

15:35 I think the concept of suppressors wearing out comes from the very very early models which tended to make much higher use of rubber wipes and washers which would wear out after only a few shots, and much less durable baffle construction such as stacks of wire mesh, or packing material like steel wool. The welrod used internal rubber washers that were penetrated by the first shot, any subsequent shot being significantly louder unless they were replaced.

The "Blazer" over under 308 is made by Blaser with an S, they are eastern european and make all sorts of rifles, over unders, and tri barreled combo guns for hunting.
the tri barrels are so cool often being chambered for a low power, full power, and shotgun cartridge
in game its nice to have an instant followup shot because at 500+ meters most full power guns require 2 shots.
also all of the guns missing components can have them added, stocks and grips and optics

About the scorpion with supressor - I *heard*, that there was a problem with silensed sten submachineguns - if you shoot one of them on full auto (i don't know how many round it takes, sorry), the silenser becomes the "loudser" until gases are out. By the way, some kind of that behaviour is shown in "Return to castle Wolfenstein", at least to a certain degree😅
That's just a rumor, but developers might heard it too, so maybe that's where it comes from.

I think the only real utility of the sawn-off Mosin is if you are doing it to save inventory space to hoard more guns, this way you have a higher chance in case it or one of the other guns you have is the first one you find the right ammo type for early on. Because it is still a lot better than no working gun or being stuck with a weak pistol for unexpected hostile player and animal encounters at medium to longer ranges.

We still trained on the P1 on the early 2000s. In basic training both the P8 ad the P1 were available and you could pick which one you wanted to use first for target practice. I had a free round with the P1 since I already finished the practice with the P8 and thus unloaded the entire clip in quick succession into the target much the annoyance of the trainer. That thing was stable af and got me a better hit ration than the P8.
We used to say: "You got 9 attacks with the P1. 8 rounds and one well aimed throw."
