"Make the attachments do something" - No statement could be more true.... Gun interaction would be sick.
But attachments do something already. Improve stability and recoil. Attachments as well allows you to add some additional things like torches.

@@Astalonte2 Yes the list failes even in its own set parameters. M16 is as rare as SKS same damage but has 30 rounds instead of 10 and is select fire. SKS is better only because it takes PU scope. Which I dont think should make it entire tier better. M16 is literary prepr for M4 with mags ammo and even supressor.

Because the Aur AX exists, the Aug doesn't. And because the M16 on up with higher range and mags exists, the Lamas/Famas doesn't.
@@p.j.talavera8106 The M16 has a terrible sight as well, has smoke/recoil if you ADS, and has the same damage/shock and drop off stats as the Le Mas but shoots much much slower and is trash up close. Le Mas mags aren't even that hard to find, nor is a saw to improve the sights. Le Mas is elite. M16 might be competitive if burst was better though.

the AK101 does more damage and shock damage than the 74. its the best assault rifle you can get outside of a gas zone. ive never been in a fight where a 45 rounder made the difference vs a 30 rounder
Ya I’m not sure in what universe the 74 would be better than the 101. I wonder if he’s reading stats from before they nerfed the damage of the 74. Because he’s wrong lol
@@jjjjjjjj2866 the 74 was only nerfed by like 2 damage. He was assuming that the 74 and the SSG do the same damage bc 545 has a higher base damage only achieved by the SSG

I have a lot of issues with this tier list. The revolver for one is practically useless endgame so I would move it to high c low b tier. The ak-74 is a fantastic weapon but the m16 is just better. I would switch those two out. The lar is an easy s tier. Same with the thumper. The famas is great as well, but only when you saw off the sights. High c-low b tier. The skorpion is one of the best end game side arms, and is the only smg in the game small enough to carry as a pistol. A tier. The deagle if you actually have ammo for it is the second best pistol, a tier. And the mk 2 is the best. S tier. The repeater does no damage and can’t even mount a scope. Low D tier. The sv-98 is incredibly hard to find and offers virtually no traits that can out perform the common 308 sniper. High D- low c tier. This take may be controversial but the fx-45 takes about 4 shots before it’s ruined. High D tier. The Glock and cz-75 are the best pistols in the game besides the mk 2 and deagle, high B - low a tier

you lost me at Skorpion I'm afraid, 12 slots is not small enough to be considered a pistol, it won't fit in a holster (goes on your back like a rifle though) and it is a terrible calibre. I'd take a Deagle over that any day and win in a gunfight against a Skorpion 9 times out of 10. everything else though I agree with.
Ya I didn’t like this list at all. For many reasons. I play religiously every day and consider myself very good at the game. I think he used to play dayz a lot but doesn’t anymore and doesn’t really know any better
100% disagree with taking the BK-12 over the BK-18. BK-18 may have less ammo but since it’s a 7.62x39 it can one tap anybody without body protection out to a decent range with a chest hit or above. It’s extremely underrated.
For me the BK-18 fills the same role as the IJ, it's not that it's amazing or anything, but it gets the job done and it's there when you need it. You might want an SKS over a BK but that doesn't mean you're gonna find it, BK-18 is everywhere and gives you the ability to take people down at range where the BK-12 limits you to close range engagements.
Bk 18 is better than any shotgun IMO.

The Repeater is F-tier material. It has no power and the reload time is so slow that most pistols are preferable. In no scenario is it better than the BK-18 which is useful against all players without body armour. The sawed-off shotgun is borderline S-tier as you can KO plate carriers (even from a distance) with the double-shot function
Disrespect on the BK 18. 762 from any gun is a one-hit kill and so is 556. It doesn't matter if you come against someone with an M4 that they happen to Woof do the respawn at a riffy, you shoot this and hit somebody anywhere in the body and they're dead if they don't have any body armor. It's also a great transition into the cr527
Also of the three big AKs the akm was nerfed in regards to damage and does the least amount of damage of the assault rifles in the game. The AK-74 does 96 damaged in the akm does 93 the AK 101 does 97 is tied in damage with the M4. The 74 is also the most stable in regards to recoil of the 3 AKs

Fun fact. Way back in the early days of alpha, the flare gun did have another function. A bug basically allowed you to store a gun inside the flare gun. I remember walking around with like 7 or 8 flare guns filled with top tier guns. It was great.

FYI I think the term "normalised" (suppressor) kinda refers to normalisation era in Czechoslovakia under Soviet rule (infamous term for Czech/Slovak citizen).
For the scorpion, the suppressor argument doesn’t matter even if it still took AK suppressor they only spawn in gas zones so you wouldn’t even get the suppressor untill you are basically fully geared

@@MRB2580 Armor piercing bullets do nothing in this game and haven't for years. They are literally like 2 points higher for damage and shock.
@@rangers1919 AP rounds kill players in plate carriers in 4 shots instead of 5 shots like regular 9x39, same as the M4. AP rounds also do triple the durability damage to plates which absolutely shreds them. I'd take a VAL over an M4 if I was a solo.

You may have mistaken 762x51 NATO with 762x54R on the Mosin, which is not only bigger but also rimmed! All and all its a pretty confusing difference and can be easy to mistake. You made one hell of a awesome video!

Yep. There’s a difference between 7.62x51 (which is basically just .308) and 7.62x54R which is what the mosin takes.

The SV 98 can run a night vision scope though. A lot of snipers didnt have that luxury, and i believe that was a huge reason behind its release. The night vision scopes are honestly nasty to run at tier 3 military zones, people feel safer running around with nvgs. Its easily the second best late game sniper behind the SVD ive used it a lot. Its a absolute machine of a sniper rifle. Theres no intelligent reason to run any of the other bolt actions the 6x does fine, maybe the blaze but I havent had to shoot someone twice with the 98 yet so.

Nv scopes are a gimmick. Theyre rare, heavy and only 4x
SV 98 is a waste to use a night vision scope, especially when you've got a gun like the Dmr with 308 and it's semi auto. You mind as well just use the SV 98 with another scope. And let's not forget about the Svd it also fires the same round as SV 98 and it's semi auto.
Most bolt actions just will always be outclassed. Still usable but outclassed.
@koreancowboy42 yeah but thats why this gun. I have seen ONE dmr. I have seen SEVERAL of these since they dropped just weeks ago lol. It COULD use access to suppressors though...i thought the whole point of the rifle was to introduce a bolt action thats military attachment friendly.
Either way, yall are hating. I play solo I dont see many DMRs lol. This gun has been so reliable for me, i used to main the mosin but this gun is pretty easy to find post mosin. The nvg scopes are nasty too, but its a late game "I have way too much space" kind of deal. I feel like yall play pvp servers or something cause availability and such isnt a concern for yall lol.
Also for dmr and sv both we could use a 8 or 12x military scope. Its kinda silly to HAVE to run a dual sight on the bolt action.
@@IEatBooty4MyDepression I doubt they'll ever allow snipers access to suppressors. Especially the bolt actions. Bottle suppressors are aids, they literally expose you xD if players don't see the bright ass bottle

My god, the alpha/current scope comparison got me good. My PC is dog's ass, so I haven't played DayZ properly since Alpha days, only briefly sometimes at friends PCs. I finally have opportunity to play it properly, and the scopes are so UGLY. You can't see shit, they are too close, no depth perception, nothing. And now when you show it, I remembered how it used to be... Why everything looked so much more... crispy? I remember that animations were ass, but everything else looked photorealistic, now it's blurry and it's like you have soap in your eyes. They should really bring back old scopes, they felt like real deal. Anyway, great vid, I honestly thought you had like a 100k subs at least, until I went to comments, super underrated
I have been a dayZ player for the longest time, but it quit literally a week before 1.25 dropped. I see everybody trashing the SV-98. But i think it has one incredible advantage over all the other sniper rifles. Its the only bolt action that can take an NVG scope. (The pioneer doesn’t count that thing is 5.56). But the SVD takes it and it has incredible range, but for all the bolt action users out there they might like this

Oh my god this loadout is absolutely peak. I’ve ran it before a couple times and I have no complaints. Slap a 6x on the dmr and it takes care of any situation (just gotta deal with it taking up a lot of ur screen) and the thumper is for groups or obscured enemies. 10/10 loadout, highly recommend

@@toprakgulen5701 it’s actually the hardest weapon in the game to track down. It’s the only weapon that’s part of unique tier which is basically tier 6. It only spawns at dynamic military trains, and military spawns in unique tier. You won’t find any regular military spawns in the unique tier areas in chernarus, you can only find convoys and heli crashes

I agree but i'd move the m16 up a slot, mostly because the rounds and mags and the suppressor you accumulate can be used on both the m4 and the aug

I'd switch the DMR with the FAL. You have the option to shred anything 20-50m out
FAL is amazing, the full auto is crazy - my distinction really between A and S comes down to of its kind, which is the favourites. In marksmanship, SVD and DMR are kings. In full auto rifles, the M4/AUG A3 having 60 round mags, easy recoil, native suppressor and plentiful ammo are huge. But the FAL, and the AKM/74 for that matter, are also amazing.

@@uncuepadayz nah you cant compare FAL to M4 or the other guns cus it dont use 5.56 its in his own league but uses .308. Its got both options to full auto and single shot. We're talking about DMR and FAL here period
The attachments definitely need to be expanded on and improved, we need lasers, grips, and a metal suppressor for the Fal and DMR

I think the BK 133 is more important just because you find it really really early at any police station almost

Everybody sleeps on the flare gun, that thing is the best nighttime shit starter in the game. If you see somebody go in a building at night lob a flare at or in the building and sit back with your popcorn as the violence insues, then you can come in and clean up the survivors.😂

It’s only good up to 20 meters. Anything after that and you aren’t hitting shit. Clearing buildings it’s great but 25 bullets is terrible. M4 wipes all day

@@toprakgulen5701 I haven’t played since January, and that was before the DMR got added. Personally I haven’t used it but I have a lot of experience with the LAR so I’d probably still lean towards that. Watch some wobo videos he breaks down weapon stats way better than I ever could
perhaps if they had two Mosins, the 9130 and the 9131 (straight bolt infantry rifle and the Sniper curve-bolted rifle) so we had a mosin with scope capability and PU capability. Could be cool.

I agree with most of this, except where you ranked the Amphibia-S.
Yeah it's ammo is useless for killing players, but the ammo is very common, the durability of the gun is decent, it silently takes out zeds without having to constantly maintain a separate suppressor, and the mags aren't all that rare either.
Absolutely S-tier pistol. Serves it's purpose perfectly. This is the only gun in DayZ that I can find very early on after spawning and will still be carrying once I am fully kitted hours later.
Actually I think I'd also move the SVAL (SVAD?) up a tier or two. The whole internal suppressor thing is enough for put almost any weapon near S tier, and it takes lots of optics that are very useful. Not just ones for long ranges either, which I think is very overlooked in this video. Uncuepa only really talks about long range scopes, but things like Reflex Sight are extremely useful as well.
Fx runs 45 & stuns zombies. Double mag capacity of the Colt plus allows for suppressor & mini sights.
Easily B tier for zombie maintenance.

Although 762x51 and 308 are the same *CALIBRE* they have different powder loads (pressure) (you can load x51 into a 308 rifle because 308 has a higher powder load but not vice versa, basically the difference between 223 and 556
They NEED to make it so if you have a folding stock or no stock, you can press closer to windows to shoot out of them, I hate having to stand a couple feet back and lose aim range you would have irl.
The SSG 82 just needs to be slightly stronger or it needs a bigger mag and a designated suppressor
As the AK-74U actually has a designated suppressor different to the one used on the AK-47M and the other AKs and it would definitely make the aku a more viable weapon on the coast and early game military locations

You can add night vision on the SV 98. This makes it the only sniper you can use at night. On some servers that’s a bonus.
It will forever annoy me that they gave the Desert Eagle it's weakest available caliber, even though I doubt it'd be used by ANYONE if it shot .44 or .50 AE
The only reason I would take the 74 over the 101 is because the mags are easier to find. 101 does like 20 more damage. If the mags weren’t so hard to find that gun would be supreme to the 74
Genuinely agree with the ENTIRE list - except ASVAL should be A tier.
Couple the VAL with the 30 round Viky mags, some AP ammo & the 4x Acog - literally my number 1 favorite setup in the game.
Uses 1/2 as many gun cleaning kits because of integral suppressor, quiet enough for zombies and rips players apart CQB.

I would usually disagree and say SKS and FAL deserve S tier but the lack of scopes available for SKS and the rarity of the FAL do make sense in dropping it down.

I agree with everything…. But honestly I’d take an m16 over m4. The iron sights are so accurate at range and the burst for close up just feels so clean.
Ye M16 should go up 1 spot. It’s just that good

difference between thoose AUG,s are the longer barrel variant is a light support role while the shorter barrel variant is for infantry. the LMG variant has different bolt system cause if they fire a lot that barrel gets really hot, so they cant leave the bolt system there so they just basicly put the bolt in the back of the stock 🤓💅
I’m not too far into the video but placing the fnx, for which the ammo, magazines, and guns themselves are everywhere and which is fantastic at fighting zombies in the same tier as a pistol that shoots the same ammo and does the same damage but has a smaller mag size and with much rarer magazines seems very strange to me.
Also you underrate the SSG. Contrary to the CR and the Pioneer the gun is very easily findeable early game and the mags especially are literally everywhere (with them dropping all the time from police zombies). Meanwhile I think I have found like 5 cr mags in all my playtime ever. That combined with an integral scope means that until you have a proper high caliber scoped gun this thing is a very good placeholder.

I watch and I weep. AKs are in different tiers though they are practically the same (all of them A tier), besides the AKM (S tier) that should be a tier above bcs of Drum mag enables massive amounts of pre firing around corners when it comes to clearing buildings. Same goes for M16 (S tier), a beast of a gun found on most of the map that has absolutely unforgiving DPS and takes a Drum and Suppressor (Honestly no need for either of them BCS the gun is a beast but its a great option to have for CQB - Mid range madness). For some cursed reason Le Mas (A tier) the pocket rocket M4A1 imitation is in D tier (like why?). Like the Le Mas, the Deagle (S tier) is a total pocket rocket that can easily knock plates and is an amazing rat gun. Amphibia (S tier) is undeniably godlike for clearing zombies wherever you are (and the fact that ammo comes in boxes of 50 rounds). SV98 (A tier) and Savanna (A tier) are both good but the CZ550 has a bit too much recoil to see where your shots are landing. And lastly the noobtube is a tier above S tier bcs it can literally kill you through walls and ceilings.
I’ll be honest the ak74u was always half decent as a beginner mid tier defensive weapon but I shot that thing last night and holy cow the recoil feels like crazy now. I don’t know if it was ever that bad cuz I’ve killed people before with it but never that bad

the mosin wont 1 hit knock someone with a plate whereas the sv 98 and 308 rifles do which is why i personaly will always go for a sv 98 or 308 gun over the mosin
No idea what it's like on pc but on xbox feels like m79 should be in S tier, it is nearly impossible to go to nwaf on any official server above 30 pop and not get thumper pvped by a 5 man duper group and if you do manage to kill them you're set for life on ammo for it

You are wrong about the 74 vs 101. The damage values are changed by the guns and not predetermined by the ammo. The 74 starts off with 80.5 damage and the 101 starts with 96.72. So if you have to choose between the 2, the 101 comes out on top in every scenario. I'd even say the 101 is better than the aug a3 (it has one of the worst recoil patterns in the game).
Nope, both are basically the exact same. 2 shot uncon with a plate and 5 to kill. There is no functional difference.

It really isn't, AKM, 101, 74 and M4 have functionally the same exact damage, time to kill and shock damage. Two torso shots to uncon and then about 5 in total to fullkill.

the 5.45 x 39 tumbles more wildly than the 5.56x45 and tends to slip through and penetrate deeper, maybe they're trying to emulate that???Another fun fact!! is that the 357 seems to be a wad cutter round for target practice or a simi jacketed flat nose round, which are illegal to use as a self-defense round in the USA due to over penetration and its ability to defeat Armour. Too much power for the fed lol. 45 is a slow but hard hitting round too. But yea totally, I think pistols should have more close range knock down power. The round your using matters in reality but will we see it in dayZ?
