As a former admin on another survival-game, I can totally relate to this. Almost exactly what me and a co-admin used to do. Get suspicious, gather evidence through setting honeytraps, then destroy their base around them while they watched and cried. Very satisfying.
and its not really admin abuse by abusing a cheater, if the player was playing normal then the admin would have no excuses to use their abilities. Admin abuse is when a admin uses his powers on normal players like using esp or destroying normal people bases. A group who's playing with a cheater can't be considered normal since they have an unfair advantage over other groups.
If you think that's bad, these cheaters and their friends remind me of cheaters on Rust. They are so easy to find but the main problem is having an admin actually deal with them. Dayz is lucky to have an admin like Anarchy

There's always a cheater who claims he's not cheating, and there's always "friends" who will also claim he's not cheating. We need more Admins who know the truth.
It's how the people not actively cheating use a cheater to gain unfair advantages and remain inside the server. Admin should ban all of them just to be safe and keep balance.
In Ark after like 3 months in a server I got half my base wiped by admins because the one random player I added to my tribe when I first started playing happened to be a known cheater/griefer on a new account. I basically played solo and just added him cause I thought he was just a dumb kid wanting friends. They thought I was one of his friends from before I joined the server, as soon as I got on mic they heard it was a different person so stopped, but the damage was done. Had just tamed a max level spino over 4 hours the night before... So I approve of these admin actions, but at least have more evidence than "One guy we don't like is with you." These admins did well. The Ark guys went scorched earth just by association.
In the last video with these guys, the dude who said it was "impossible" his buddy was a cheater gave off a real bad vibe. Hey did you know you're playing with a cheater? "Impossible!" What a peculiar reaction... Ofc he knew the whole time. Bunch of twats.

I'll be honest you're the reason I went and bought Day-Z at Christmas! I've been playing solo on a local server trying to understand the game mechanics before I embarrass myself online and hope to be heading to your servers the moment I think I can actually last a couple of minutes. I get lost in the game though it's so vast, immersive and stunning. 😁
Same story here! I lasted about 45 minutes on his server and I got killed east of Zub castle, never saw the guy and with no weapons in my hands. I recommend iZurvive map on browser and phone app. Good map to get to know the game ;)
Go straight to the server. Everyone starts somewhere. The HH servers are a fun way to enjoy the game and learn. Plus you know you won't be hit on by cheaters 😇

I wish we had these tools when I was an Admin for a server back when this game first came out. We used to have to pretend to be someone else and get a cheater to show us their cheats. This is such a nice tool

I've been playing solo on a local server trying to understand the game mechanics before I embarrass myself online and hope to be heading to your servers the moment I think I can actually last a couple of minutes. I get lost in the game though it's so vast, immersive and stunning. 😁
Same story here! I lasted about 45 minutes on his server and I got killed east of Zub castle, never saw the guy and with no weapons in my hands. I recommend iZurvive map on browser and phone app. Good map to get to know the game ;)
Go straight to the server. Everyone starts somewhere. The HH servers are a fun way to enjoy the game and learn. Plus you know you won't be hit on by cheaters 😇
