funny enough, i just experienced this recently running designated target. single shot + simpler target setup is a smart way to conserve ammo and isolate tension built thru transitions. thanks.

I've been doing this with a USPSA target at the 7 and an 8" gong at the 15. I do five rounds/reps for the drill and try to maintain all A's and (obviously) no misses on the steel. It is tough too do really fast and shows all sorts of problems right away.

what do you think of the shooting style of C. Sailer and eric graufel, the both look like they have very tense shoulders and very aggressive forward lean on both shoulders and torso

I can't answer for Ben, but I'd have to say it's very shooter dependent. There's been champs with wildly different styles, so take what works for you. I've noticed with my grip and stance, Ben's stuff works the best for me. Tried some of Eric's techniques but I couldn't get them to work for me. Even JJ Recaza who trains with Eric as they're buddies, JJ couldn't adopt Erics style despite training with him and trying to. Didn't seem to matter much as JJ won carry optics not that long ago.

Afaik Graufel utilizes different muscle groups for his grip while the hands do very little. What is seen and what is happening might not translate into unwanted tension.
