The people counting the money were probably cautioned before they came here not to flash a lot of money or count cash in public so they don’t get robbed.
I laughed when the Corolla family was trying to hide how much cash they had from you and counted it in front of the camera.
They were very foolish people, and in more ways than one obviously.

And yet they were too cheap to pay $15 to park.😂
@@scottmichaels6854 thats sometimes 100 percent the way it is i find people who are are sometimes wealthy can be so frugal with just day to day things like paying for parking 🤔i dont understand it but ive seen it first hand before. they will have millions sitting in a bank somewhere and wont spend more then 30 dollars of a pair of shoes. then again these people could simply just be worried about if they did have alot of cash of them as tourists to pay for things that they where worried the tow truck driver would see they had heaps of cash and try make them pay far more then normal but who really knows.
Different strokes for different folks I guess 🤓.
Bottom line- after watching y’all for a while…when going to Gaitlinberg for vacation- Always pay to park in a legitimate parking spot And Never rent a cabin in the hills and down steep and crookedy narrow lanes! Sounds like staying toward town in a nice hotel or rental is the best thing to do for a stress free visit!! Amen!!

We had a fabulous one, at the top of the mountain. There was a hotel hotel lodge, further up the mountain that was accessible only by helicopter 😮😂.
Our place had 3flrs with an arcade room, bathroom, bedroom on the first floor. Great room, kitchen, fire place, bedroom, bathroom on flr 2. And bedroom w/Jacuzzi bathroom on 3rd flr (looked out over the top of the trees)

The lady in the first clip was VERY calm....considering how close she came to getting aquainted with the downslope of that mountain. Yikes!😮
Oh lord that first lady was calm. I would have been changing my drawers.
You'd be surprised, sometimes the extreme amount of adrenaline and stress that dangerous situations like that can cause, will paradoxically cause a serene sense of calm. Temporarily. Eventually the realization and the mental "Holy Shit" of it all will catch up and that calm will be gone. Saw it happen to a 17-Year-old kid who flipped his pickup truck. Took a turn too fast, too sharp, and snap-rolled it. Found him just sitting in his seat, unhurt, and very casual and calm about the fact that his door was jammed, his roof was caved in, and he couldn't get out. It wasn't until we got him out of the car and verified, he was uninjured that the realization of what just happened to him hit him. The human mind is weird like that sometimes.

We are down from Wisconsin this week. I was literally looking up the address and directions from moonshine Mountain coaster while I was waiting on the family to finish up the ride and this notification came through! Great timing!

Oh how i miss Tennessee... Lived outside of Chattanooga in Red Bank for a few years. Needed to return to Michigan when the folks got ill and never got the chance to return. There's something magical about the hills in the spring and winter months especially around Lookout Mountain. I swear one morning near Cravens House you could see apparitions of both Confederate and Union Soldiers.

The first situation was weird. Y'all operate like a fine watch, Y'all ROCK!
Why was it weird?! I tow people out of ditches all the time! It's the neighborly thing to do! And yes, I use a strap, and no, it doesn't "tear everything up" any more than a winch does, if you know how to do it! It's just that tow company's get butt hurt when you take business from them!

Maybe it's just me but I don't set my parking brake to avoid getting towed. When I was growing up I was told to ALWAYS use my parking brake, whether on a flat surface or a hill. Same thing for parking next to a curb. I always turn my wheel towards where's if it were to roll, there's a chance the curb will stop it
Not just you, I was taught (and do) the same, only now my new car sets the e-brake itself, among other things... new dangfangled electronics! I have to drive my old truck for the satisfaction of setting it myself 😂

It's possible that the white truck was coming uphill while the lady was getting stuck and offered to help her out not knowing they had already called you.. Some people are nice like that. It's something my husband would do.

I grew up in Chicago and the that was also the home of a corrupt towing company, the most, who was working with some local politicians but not the big guy, the Mayor and they would tow cars from private roads without being called. They take them from snow routes...in July, and they've even towed cars from personal driveways. Sadly they were never held responsible for the damages they caused or the stuff they stole. They were protected which sent cash to those folks protecting them. Most lawsuits even were dismissed before ever hitting the court. The power politicians have allowed them to build a million dollar towing business. As far as I know they are still in business but have tone down but just a bit. It's nice to see hard working HONEST folks out there helping not stealing from people. Love the channel.

I don't understand why people say "we don't have cash". They said you need cash. You don't have cash. Where do you get cash? From an ATM of course. Why do they sound like they don't know how to get cash and what is the purpose of telling the tow company you don't have it...
Hahaha…agreed. It’s the same mentality as “I think you’ve towed my car! How am I supposed to get to you?” Welllll…Jeff is always so patient when he says…you’ll have to get an Uber, a Lyft, a taxi, or take the trolley.” It would be all I could do to keep myself from saying…. “Der…” 🥴. 😃😃😃😃. In all fairness to the folks who illegally parked at the end of this video…they were polite, spoke a different language as their main language, and were just trying to figure their life out right then. 🙂

We rented Turkey Feathers on Flat Branch Road a couple years ago for our anniversary. That road, like many others in and around Gatlinburg, is not for the faint of heart.
