The first lady that drove into the ditch wanted her car towed out of the ditch, that's why she called, and her wheels weren't turned much.
I am a locksmith and Geico calls me all the time. I don't even answer their calls anymore. They call me for tire changes, jump starts, tows, and when it's a lockout it takes a week to get paid after I do a bunch of online paperwork. Not worth the trouble for me.

So far I’ve heard nothing NOTHING that makes her CHOOSING to park there OK or to lower your fees for her choice. 😄. She clearly saw the $15 Parking sign…who EXACTLY did she pay the $15 to if she thought that sign meant the tiny Five Guys lot? And now still arguing and trying to get out of things???? I am almost 60 years old and have been going to Gatlinburg since I was about 10 years old. We have never had a problem finding a parking spot, even when it is busy.

I do not trust many people driving. My mom was one but she passed away. My best friends husband and he passed away. My best friend and she is still with us. So I have one person I really trust. Until I saw Jeff back up. You back up better then most people drive forward. So you are now on my list.

Some people don’t understand how infrastructure works. There are lots of people and businesses behind the scenes that make our society work. The EA family is part of that infrastructure. This “church” lady (like so many others) doesn’t understand that Jeff and his family get paid for the work they do, it isn’t free. Because she is unaware of how this all works is part of why she wanted to haggle the price. My guess, she figured Jeff was getting paid from some other entity and her money was some “extra” that he wants tp charge.
See that's the problem, people don't take responsibility for their actions. They are mad at themselves for pulling a bonehead move, but they will blame the tow company and cuss them out all because they are mad at themselves! Humans are the dumbest smart mammals ever put on this planet.
Awesome videos!! Seriously! I told my husband that if and when we go to Gatlinburg, we will pay for parking and we will stay in a hotel in town bc the rental cabins are all on dangerous roads! He thinks I’m nuts but I don’t want to be on RUclips looking like a fool.
I've only been once and stayed at a hotel in Piegon Forge and when we left the GPS had us go on these back roads to avoid all the traffic on the strip and after about 15 min of taking these twisting roads I decided to turn back and go back to the strip cause something just felt off about it. So I made a right down this side street figuring I'd just pull into a driveway and turn around. Literally every single driveway was just a straight up incline, there was no way for any car or SUV to even attempt to go up it, your front bumper would just hit concrete. You'd need a truck decked out for off road use with 35" tires and a huge lift to even attempt it. I kept going down the street figuring eventually I'd find a normal driveway but I didn't. I eventually found a spot where I could do a 3 point turn and made my way back to the strip. I don't get how with all the hundreds of thousands of people who visit this area every year that they aren't able to figure out how to fix the GPS for people.
If I could draw well, I had an idea for a batman theme for a tee-shirt like from the old TV show. With your everything, auto logo in the clouds like the bat signal over the mountains. 😅

What you said at 6mins is exactly as i think too. When i drove a tow truck and also trained a few guys, I always told them that there is probably as many ways to do a recovery as there is guys in the company. If you get the car recovered without damage you did it right.
Jeff and Kristen, amazing recovery! You're right about non-controversial disagreements. I do try not to stir anyone up, but I have a shorter fuse now than I did when I was younger. But, I do draw the line at abuse. I know I had two "death threats" from telemarketers (spam callers/scam callers), and I did promise someone who threatened me that if he crashed through my door (which is always locked) that one of two things would happen: (1) either he would be met by law enforcement to arrest him for trespass, of (2) if he did crash through my door, and law enforcement was not available, he would be well ventilated. And, of course, you cannot take off and go to Cincinnati! That's absurd!
P. S. I guess I'll never understand the mentality of someone who just parks wherever she pleases. That's just plain. My mother used to tell us: "Stupidity just grows." I guess we all do dumb things and we just have to try to be forgive people for being human. You know that no one is perfect (I'm certainly NOT), but it is really stupid behavior!

It sounds like she was visiting someone next door and turned into the wrong driveway. It still does not explain how she got over the left side of the road. You are absolutely correct that anger is a waste of time and it actually hurts the angry person more than the person they are attacking.

That Nissa Rogue from Texas was extremely lucky! That was a huge drop 🫨 Great recovery. The lady seemed pretty calm who blocked the garage entrance. However it's always interesting to hear the stories people come up with. The insurance call dispatch was more drama 🙄Man o Man the administration nightmare you have to go through. I used to be the GM at a 450 seat sports bar downtown in my city and we only had just seven parking spots. With the stress of working in a fast paced, service industry job, our whole team loved when we had cars towed of people weren't Guests at the restaurant. I would buy people drinks if they parked next to a car so they would move their vehicle for the tow truck to have enough clearance. Patrons were always happy to do so, and towing cars of those who wrongfully used our lot was a great coping mechanism for our crew.
I hate to admit, but my absolute favorite driving experience was driving my 99 turbo diesel Volkswagen bug up those roads. It was a stick, so it was just a complete firecracker going up those curvy lanes, and that diesel torque was just made for those hills.
Best insurance advice I can give anyone: Find a small, local insurer with an actual agent, not the big conglomerates, with roadside assistance that let’s you call whomever you want for the tow. You pay the tow, and your insurance reimburses you after the fact. Works like a peach.
FYI at least in Alberta.. There would be orange tape or two associates when you're reversing through a distracted crowd..Like you , we now have blue integrated..👍..Love your calm demener..

I enjoy seeing the tactics that are used getting their vehicles up and going again while always looking for the best way to cause little or no damage. I have two suggesting that may help or may have been tried before. If y'all carried a pair of magnetic lights to place on the rear of vehicle, it would give better vision in backing down a lowly lit road or driveway making the chances of backing off the road better. Also with you and your lovely wife a set of headphones would help converse with each other in the team work needed to solve any problems in directing what's best to use..... Wishing the best of the holiday season to all of the crew who works in preparing your videos. Remember the reason for celebrating the season. My buddy primarily does insurance tows. The amount he makes from that every month is crazy. The only other thing he does is police calls for wrecks and stuff. He got tired of dealing with people that complain about the price of a tow. The days of $100 tows is gone but people still think it should only cost $100. Then they leave nasty reviews.
Anytime you're dealing with the public in any capacity it's not fun. Because alot of people just plain suck!!! People don't want to take responsibility for actions. You aren't allowed to park in front of dirveways or business entrances ANYWHERE!
In some jurisdictions, you can't even block your OWN driveway.
Frankly I know of no place in the US that allows you to park in from of someone elses driveway.

Your site is the first one I go to when I click on RUclips. It's very enjoyable seeing the help and hope to others who may be in a situation where they are in need of your good services and calming their nerves. You both have the art of caring for your fellow man..... I enjoy seeing the tactics that are used getting their vehicles up and going again while always looking for the best way to cause little or no damage. I have two suggesting that may help or may have been tried before. If y'all carried a pair of magnetic lights to place on the rear of vehicle, it would give better vision in backing down a lowly lit road or driveway making the chances of backing off the road better. Also with you and your lovely wife a set of headphones would help converse with each other in the team work needed to solve any problems in directing what's best to use..... Wishing the best of the holiday season to all of the crew who works in preparing your videos. Remember the reason for celebrating the season. My hat is off for the team work the whole family does to make it possible.

Hi guys wow Ford Explorer lady should give up her license or not travel with kids if she was that distracted. But not only blocking the parking garage did she pay the parking fee? My buddy primarily does insurance tows. The amount he makes from that every month is crazy. The only other thing he does is police calls for wrecks and stuff. He got tired of dealing with people that complain about the price of a tow. The days of $100 tows is gone but people still think it should only cost $100. Then they leave nasty reviews.
Anytime you're dealing with the public in any capacity it's not fun. Because alot of people just plain suck!!! People don't want to take responsibility for actions. Entitlement is running rampant these days! But it does make some great content! Keep doing what you do! #millionairesinnotime #parkillegallyandfindout
