When the Honda person mentioned he was the mayor of *redacted* city I knew it was going down the road it went. When he asked about the “due process” it became apparent he didn’t really know what he was talking about. The idea of due process works with public property and criminal action. Private property begins and ends with what the property owner wants as long as everything is posted (which it was). Some people struggle to accept responsibility for their own actions and, instead, try to blame others.

@ryanlukens9280 You are correct. Maybe these illegal parkers need to contemplate the following: a stranger comes and parks his vehicle in the driveway of your home. You cannot drive your vehicle out of your driveway and go to work or go anywhere because this stranger's car is blocking your private driveway. As a private property owner, you can have the car towed. Just what "due process" do these illegal parkers think they have to park in a privately-owned driveway? It is no different for a private commercial property where the parking is for customers or clients of the business or for a privately-owned pay-to-park lot.

    • @jridenour31

@targetedcitizen3160 His car was towed because he illegally parked it. The happy medium between private property owners and the public is "don't park where you aren't supposed to and you won't get towed." Everything he was saying was irrelevant.

@@targetedcitizen3160so the fact there were signs everywhere saying do not park or the fact there’s a gate that locked with a chain doesn’t tell you this lot is private not sure what will. As for trying to compute between public vs private it’s really simple. Private property is property owned by an individual as for public property that owned by city or state where there parking meter up down mostly every street. Shopping centers have a time limit for how long your car to be on the lot before it gets called for removal. P

Years a ago before smartphones. I was working nights in a snow storm. Dispatch calls me to a winch out in the middle of nowhere. And the quoted price was 200. (It should have been 500 but that's another story.)
They got sucked right by slush and spun around, hit a small sign. It wasn't an easy winch out and I kept having to crawl into a cold wet ditch to re-adjust.
Thankfully the police showed up to block traffic and I was able to get them out.
Then when they saw the bill they started calling me names (my mom too)
Thankfully the police were thier or else I think they would have been violent.
Bill was paid and I went to the next call.
Next day I get a call from my boss that they said I damaged the car.

@@shannonobrien9922 Well, your comment has way more issues than a simple spelling mistake.🤣 Let's go through them, shall we?
1.) Sentences begin with a capital letter and end with a period. 2.) There are only three dots (not 10) in the punctuation mark known as an "ellipsis", used specifically to represent missing words, while your use was to represent an upcoming example of which the correct sentence structure would be to add the words "for example," followed by your sentence example (e.g., "for example, I'm thankful PD was THERE to assure your safety.") Other acceptable punctuation to use is the dash ( - ) followed by your sentence example. 3.) The word "assure" is used incorrectly, as its meaning is "to *tell someone something* positively or confidently to dispel any doubts they may have." The correct word to use in your sentence example, is the word "ensure" as its meaning is "to make sure that a problem shall not occur." I hope this helps.👍

When someone asks me how do I get there I would give them directions of what roads to take and what direction to turn. I guess maybe it’s a different region interpretation of the question.🤷🏼‍♀️

Hello Jeff, always interesting videos and such predicaments you are involved in.
Here's an idea I implemented many years ago while an LEO. Places that our department responded to on a regular basis or just for routine patrol, there were times we needed access onto the owners property which was secure by a chain, gate or other locked obstacle and secured with a padlock.
Our department, of course with the property owners consent, purchased padlocks which were all KEYED ALIKE and placed the lock in line with the padlock of the owner. This enabled our patrol officers the ability to unlock OUR lock to enter onto the property and not interrupting or interfere with the owners lock.
After watching this video today, I felt the need to put the same idea into your thinking since MANY TIMES by removing a locked chain, gate etc. would work for you making your work much easier.
If you like this idea go for it making sure you have permission from the owner. Of course DON'T FORGET TO RESECURE THE PROPERTY after the work is done or it'll be game over!
Thanks for your time and keep those "interesting" videos rolling.

So he's going to "appeal' this tow. Exactly who is he going to appeal to? The city for daring to allow businesses to have private property, or the businesses who dare to provide free parking for employees? I swear these entitled people are just ridiculous in their narcissistic behavior. He claimed to be a mayor of somewhere, so he KNOWS there are laws in place that protect property owners. He ALSO knows the city cannot ticket someone whom is parked on private property. This man made himself and his wife look completely foolish and entitled. Bless all y'all for your endless patience!

The even tone, sympathetic yet holding your line. Explaining as little as possible but as much as necessary. Even growing up he was that way. He never met a stranger, they were just friends he hadn’t met yet. I don’t think anyone really didn’t like him, except one guy who was jealous of him when they both worked for his parents and they would rather make their son work at a different location than lose my brother as an employee.
