I really should have put the the part in the video of this guy bringing the steak knife back outside after he went into the apartment. I may have put that clip in on a video. If you haven't subscribed, I may be doing some night towing in the future. May even try to live stream these impounds. Thanks for watching
I have some mad respect for you sir! Way to control things. Your job isn’t easy. You do a good job at watching your surroundings too. This is my first time watching one of your videos. God bless you!
When doing good service work. You don't have to watch your surroundings. People who call for help are usually happy to see help arrived. The only time for concerns was loading on the side of a highway. Traffic going by at 70 mph. But wait I would put my life in dangerous situations to HELP someone. Not steel from them.
Any car parked on footpaths or disabled parking spaces when their not disabled get my house keys scratched down the side. Coz my mum is in a wheelchair & is very old & should not have to go on the road coz some ass is parked on the foot path. But if I've already scratched 1 side of the car, then I'll scratch the other. But if that's done, I throw eggs on the car..... some people are very slow learners & I'd rather ruin their car than have my mum get hit by a car coz she couldn't use the footpath!😡😡😡
As a Marine I had to keep my vehicle squared away. I'm retired now from the private sector but it's my responsibility to obey the law. Former military should not get any breaks. On the contrary, we should set an example of what a citizen should behave like. Semper Fi.
As a veteran myself, I find it appalling when a military person uses their service to either garner special favors/services or as an excuse for poor judgement/bad behavior. I know some have mental issues and can be easily provoked or triggered. But not this guy. He was trying to intimidate this tow truck driver. And the driver was courteous, professional, and nonconfrontational. I wish more people in our so-called 'polite society' would take a page out of this guy's book. Kudos for a job well done! You handled yourself gracefully and with dignity to your profession.
Eh, I don’t know. As a vet of 24 years in the AF, I don’t think he was trying to use his veteran status to get out of the tow. Now his aggressive nature was just uncalled for to be sure but I didn’t see him using his status to get special privileges.
My point was that many vets have PTSD or mental blocks and will suffer w/this the rest of their lives. The majority of us don't want that type of stigma attached to us. But it makes vets feel bad when people use being a vet as an excuse to be a jerk. One is not synonymous with the other.
@@keithbassett4988 I find the “one-termers” and reservists to be the most likely to use the veteran card. Heck I spent over 20 and I never mention it now that I’m out unless it comes up in conversation.

I understand people get emotional about there cars, hey I love my car but as a Veteran myself the way the Veteran acted towards the tow truck driver was very disappointing. The tow truck driver was very respectful and it seemed like he was willing to work the situation out with the Vet as best as he could. I have learned that someone who really is tough or really is a bad ass doesnt need to tell you how tough they are or what they can do to you, they are usally calm and quiet about their skills and will react when needed. The tow truck driver was the tougher one, he remained respectful and professional.
He's giving YOU advice on how close he was to you and you shouldn't let him get that close. Says YOU should have kept backing up and kept backing up and kept some distance. I watched it again and you WERE backing up! Exactly how far did he think you should retreat? Clean off the property?? So, if his dog bit you, he'd probably say you shouldn't have put your hand in the dog's mouth! It says a lot about your character that, once he (sort of) calmed down, you let it go and kept de-escalating the situation. A lot of people would have stayed bowed up at him and kept the confrontation going. Great job!
I was wondering the same thing and then when tow trucker told him to back up the guy backed off a bit. You just gotta call their bluff bc that guy has everything to lose he won't do anything. I love how much compassion and respect he has for people's cars. He kept looking around hoping the guy would come out so he didn't have to hook it. That's awsome.
He was basically saying, "If I wanted to, I could take you down in two movements." Like, what was the purpose of him saying that? Why was that necessary?
There's always someone tougher than you out there. There was an article in a Boston newspaper about a police officer who beat a UFC fighter in a street fight.

I saw a huge, mean high school football player go after his ex gf new bf. That was something! New bf was a stick figure with a mop of brown hair stuck on him. Every time ex grabbed him, new bf squirted out of his grasp and ran around him. When he was behind him he kicked him. He got grabbed 4 times and slipped out each time. The last time the ex got kicked, it was right in his squirrel snacks. A teacher had watched part of the action and stepped forward at that point to break it up. The teacher (he was old school and i admire him and his logic to this day! this happened in 1981) said if he had stopped it sooner, the ex would have just jumped him again. This way it was over. It was too! Nobody messed with the skinny kid again! Lol
Having watched only a few of your videos, I have such respect for you. After today's video I respect you even more. At the end of your encounter with the vet you reminded him TWICE that HE moved into your space. Good for you! Idk, of course, but I think bc he was a vet &/or bc he is bigger than most people, he felt you needed to keep stepping back. He didn't say that he did not have to move towards you! IMO, he is a bully, vet or not. I thought it was great that you didn't let him forget he was in the wrong. He was acting very condescendingly towards you. You handled it perfectly; diplomatically, but still standing up to him. Great job!

Behave like a person and drop the " Macho Posture Intimidation " he tried on you !!
As it didn't work... see his other choice of personality disorder that came out !
@@joecool9739 this is also russia's means of covertly taking down the United States from within. The more you know! C:
The military man needed to man up and pay the price.
Real Vets know the deal and don’t cry
Awwww you are so sweet when it comes to familys especially those that have kids either around them or hanging on to them you're smooth talking keeps them calm you have a special way you speak to your customers with the soft voice and controlling your anger God bless you
I understand people get emotional about there cars, hey I love my car but as a Veteran myself the way the Veteran acted towards the tow truck driver was very disappointing.
Hey man, much respect for not towing the car with a child there, much respect sir.
More respect for people who don't get their cars repo'ed.
Tow trucker you’re the man!
Non consensual towing
He needs to put that line on a shirt 😂
I’d buy it
A tow like that definitely would get your heart pumping. You seem to read people well. Be safe enjoy the weekend
Your view on kids and how you treated that mom just got me to subscribe...some people just need a break sometime and you seem like a cool dude
This guy is a pro. Just got to show you, everyone has a job to do, no matter how unsavory it is.
That fool had a huge ego, probably was just a butt private his whole life
He was basically saying, "If I wanted to, I could take you down in two movements." Like, what was the purpose of him saying that? Why was that necessary?
Every tow truck driver i know carry a gun for this reason exactly.
There's always someone tougher than you out there. There was an article in a Boston newspaper about a police officer who beat a UFC fighter in a street fight.
Michael, never a truer word.
I've seen it several times before I retired and each time I was greatly amused.
I think it's an American saying. '' It's not the size of the dog in the fight it's...... ''.
Look up the cop who faught kimbo slice in a bare knuckle fight
Lol
Not to mention there are a fair number of people in the world who edc.... and weapons almost always win.

I don't know why vets be thinking they know how to fight just because they in the military I seen so many vets get beat up on RUclips
Great job!
It's just fascinating to watch how they move parked cars like that.
Yeah and it’s probably ruined for life
Transmission completely cooked from the parking gear
Yesss
I know right
Don't let it come to that if u care lol
Looks like he played the 'military' card, and lost... You handled the situation well...Rules apply to all of us...
No passes given 🤣🤣
"I don't care i do this for a living bro call the police!" Towtrucker keeps it real 😎
Po lease lol
Yah that was legit !
I am digging the CRX!! I have a thing for small, light-weight fun box cars. I have a 92 Suzuki Swift GT-i that's similar in fun factor to the CRX cars . Nice ride looks good!!
I would not trust the police if I were in this situation.
And nonchalantly making sure he was in the camera's view.
Towtrucker. I can tell you are a good man trying to do your job in a respectful way. Couldn’t imagine doing your job and being as nice and caring as your are. God bless..
Mate, saw a few videos of yours, also a more recent, but I just have to get back to this one - your way of communicating, reacting and being peaceful is above and beyond. You know your job and you got the social skills as well as empathy. There‘s lots of shit going on out there, stay safe.

The US Military needs to vet their recruits better. Would avoid them a lot of bullshit
You not towing that woman's car with the baby shows your integrity and dignity which most ppl in your line of work wouldn't. Salute to you!!!!
It’s because the car wasn’t hooked already, if it was hooked she would have to pay the drop fee, has nothing to do with the negative stereotypes associated with tow trucks.
Man I love your videos. So glad you do this kind of work in my hometown. Keep them streets cleaned up. Many thanks from a fellow vendor. Appreciate ya bro.👍🙏😎
There you are. Tag'em and drag'em Johnny. You are not really driving a tow truck, it's the karma bus in disguise...
Glad to see Cooler minds prevailed there at the end with the Camaro. Let’s move on to the next one Johnny. Stay Safe
You know when to call it quits ! That was well handled , you've obviously been in this situation before . Good stuff!
You dont meet to many gentlemen like this. Honest and respectful. Always a good way to be.
I like how you're a cool dude just doing a job and not out to just collect everything you back up to. At least you also care about the vehicles as well and don't scratch them up. Good man
Listen, I don't care if he is military. He was unduly aggressive. Jerk is jerk.
Yeah, ex-military or not, he was just an asshole.

Just who do you think you are to pass judgement on someone who had the guts to sign up for military duty so he could risk his life to defend your freedom. It doesn't matter how rich or successful you are at your career, you don't ever have the right to pass judgement on another person, especially a person who puts their life in jeopardy to protect your life, property, and freedom the way cops, firefighters, and military people do. Shame on you.
@@room23productions12 ,
Since you agree with those who pass judgement on our bravest and finest, put your name on the dotted line or keep your judgements to yourself! Each one of our soldiers, law enforcement, and firefighters are worth hundreds of you and your kind. At least they have the intestinal fortitude to put their lives at risk to protect people like you who believe that freedom is free. Well guess what, freedom is not free. Freedom costs. Without military personnel, you would not have the freedom to post comments here on RUclips. Without law enforcement, you would be overrun by criminals. Without firefighters and EMTs, you would have no one to save you when your home catches fire, you have a bad accident, or you are flopping on the deck as your heart stops beating. Chew on that for a while the next time you decide to agree with someone who shows contempt for military personnel. And while we are on this topic, many of our finest citizens are military and former military personnel.
Job well done Johnny. He was a large man, I'm sure you had the adrenaline tingles for a few minutes.

Those Camaro's really are a beautiful car.
A tow truck driver with a conscience... can you imagine?
If he was good it would be a cloth bridal. 3 inch yellow strap. Not chains. Also should use a block & tackle not a j hook to pull to the side. The j hook does damage to the cable. Stupidity

That guy was so wrong to use his service to get a favor we appreciate everything they done but not right for them to ask us not to do our job that we might lose because we helped them I really do appreciate what they did an I always honor them
