The sign is probably not clear - most people would assume it's forbidden to park during working hours, and is ok while the business is closed. As evident from the number of people parking there. So I actually see it as extortion :D
The fact that everyone reads the signs immediately when they return just goes to prove that they read the signs, acknowledged it, then parked there anyways. they knew exactly where their car went.
My parents parked the car in a quiet allley filled with cars but a single spot was vacant still. *Sure it's a legit parking place, look at all the other parked cars!* After the movie was over, my dad went to get the car, while we waited at the cinema. When he returned, he sheepishly admitted he had received a parking ticket. And what about the other cars? Yup, they all got ticketed too.
What astonishes me is that anyone would want to live in a city, where things like parking and restrooms are some kind of manna from heaven, and rents are high.
I mean it's not difficult scenario to understand. You drive around 30mins finding a spot you finally find a spot at this business hours way past the closing time you figure "Eh fuck it probably just tow people who park in the day" and RIP.
this is called "predator towing", and its not right...these idiot tow drivers want to steal peoples vehicles when their back is turned ....i think tow drivers who tow peoples cars without their permission are scum.
@@JackRR15 yeah, exactly. I get that this goes against the grain of this channel, but if the parking spots aren't being used, why not share? This seems petty and anti-social for no reason. Brenda, 40 yrs ago I worked at a place that, like this place, had to keep space open. Yes, the owner of the now missing car would often walk right up to the middle of the spot where the car USED TO BE, and look around. Quite funny. ☺ One night, I even hustled over to a guy, "sir please don't park there. It'll get towed." "Sure, like last year... right" I was there when he returned, stood where car WAS, spotted & confronted me. I directed him to my boss. His was the first they towed that night!. 😁 lol

I'd say the people they must love are the idiots who park illegally with all those signs right in front of their faces. Talk about easy money, they might as well have just stayed home and made a donation to the towing company.
Lol, only make it a play on words. A hairy foot with the big toe yanked out. Below that a digital TOE TALLY! People might actually read that and say "I'm afraid to leave The Betsy anywhere near this concrete nuthouse!" But of course they will still add to the Tinkle River. 🤣
The best of all these videos is when you can see the driver OR the passenger OR both clearly see, read, and discuss the sign, and then still walk away without moving the car. Classic.
@@veronicamascaro5858 I would say they assume during normal business hrs it would be in affect, but personally I would never take the chance fk that shit.
And it's one thing if a person parking thinks 'hey, I'm just going to be in and out of where I'll be and I can come back and get out before any tow trucks can ever even show up.' But these are gone hours at a time! How could they possibly think their car is still going to be there??? I don't get it.
I keep thinking they should try an addition to the signs. 'You are under video surveillance. If we record you reading the signs and still parking here, all fines will be quadrupled'. Wouldn't do much good, but it'd be nice to see if it changes how long they think about it.
The thing that trips me out about these videos is if you pay close attention. The entire Alley is laced with Tow Signs. Someone even spray painted "No parking" on the opposite wall. Even if you didn't see the ones directly in front of you, at least one had to catch their eye. Personally it would make me question where I just parked if I saw that many signs. Also, what's standing around going to accomplish? Tow companies usually aren't that far from where they towed you. They could have called an Uber and went and got their cars in all the time they sat around pouting.
While there are many signs that say it is a tow area, the "No Parking" on the opposite wall is less likely to be recognized as a warning for the tows cause it's painted on what looks like to be a loading and unloading area for goods or other things. Many people would look at it and be like "Oh they may open that door and my car could be hit, not gonna park in front of that."
I only see signs that look somewhat official across the street... and that property/business owner doesn't seem to have it as a business model to tow cars! I doubt they even have signs on this side of the street. why then they need cameras? to alert movement to the owner so he can be up all night calling tow trucks? or do they need them to prove themselves in court?!
daghrb6 They very obviously have a sign on the building in front of the parked card, you can see people taking pictures of it in other videos for the tow number
I've been towing for decades and at one point in my profession I had to do these illegally parked impounds... I probably did it for about a year and decided to not offer my services for this because people are never nice when they come after their cars. Sure, it pays good but I just don't like the headaches and I really like to avoid confrontations.
A friend, in customer service, walks away when treated meanly. She comes back a few minutes later and asks them to be polite and they will be helped. In the meantime, the other people in line get annoyed because the person in front of them caused a delay and now they have to wait even longer. If they insist on complaining to the manager, she replays the outburst that she recorded using her cell phone. The manager sides with the worker and tells the customer that such behavior will not be tolerated.
As someone who got their car towed before on multiple occasions I can vouch for you. We become real assholes when we see our car isn’t there. 10/10 people look right at the sign and walk away thinking they’ll get away with it. I can only say for myself tho I’m usually more pissed off at the fact I seen the sign and ignored it and karma (you guys) came and took care of it.
And then you get a garage somewhere there and a constant stream of "business" is guaranteed. I have a feeling the towing company is making more than the shop itself...
I had an initial negative reaction, read the FAQs and was instantly on your side, then realizing the same thing happens at my workplace causing me to be late each and every day until we got signs and permit placards for our cars.

My car was getting towed from school (wrong parking lot) I taped it happening as well as the guy A. I'm a Janitor for my local municipal government. I've damn near had violent aneurysms over the shit people think they can get away with. Part of my job is to close the public restrooms, and they are on a timed lock, which almost never actually works on the time you set it to. So either it locks 10 minutes late, or 10 minutes early. Because it's on a timer, I can't lock it myself unless I go inside, get the key, go around the building, pull down the attic stairs, and manually switch it off. So I used to just take it on the chin and tell people it's closed when they came in. Eventually I realized the big 6am to 6pm sign right next to the door wasn't working enough. So I would put a "closed" sign right in the door. Like, in your face as you open it. Still didn't work. People would say "oh I didn't see the sign" The one that broke me, like really broke me. Was when I put that sign up. Then another yellow one that said "restroom closed" *inside* the door as you open it, and then blocked the doorway with wet floor signs, and finally put a LADDER open and blocking the door. I barricaded the door essentially. And I shit you not, I had 3 people open that motherfucking door and try squeezing through around them all. I heard it from the supply closet and lost my shit. I just shouted as aggressively as I could. "ITS CLOSED." "Oh, oh, I didn't see the sign!" "YES YOU DID." I cam around the corner and saw them bolt. People are little entitled shits man lol
These are all the same people who run stop signs, red lights, turn on red w/o stopping, ignore speed limits, speed thru flashing school zones, circle store parking lots to find an up front spot, take up 2 spaces by not caring about the paint lines on the pavement, drive in thru the exit signs, park in a handicap spot w/o a plaque, ride your rear end because you are only going 5mph over the speed limit and you are blocking them, hauling butt passed you-then slam on their breaks and turn right, pass you at a high rate of speed and only to be right in front of you at the red light- then the light turns green and they are not moving because they are staring at their smart phones instead of the green light- thus you have to tap your horn to break their day dreaming/cell phone addiction moment- only to have them stick their middle finger out the window at you.
*Typical soft/calm old British man voice on a documentary* "Here we see the tow trucks in their natural habitat. They have young ones back home, so are on the prowl to find food for them, before the harsh winter comes."
In the same voice. "See how they work together to maxamize their catch. Timing is everything out here in the concrete jungle. One mistake could mean the difference between a successful catch and nothing at all."
These trucks are meant to hook and go. They usually drive down the street a little and strap it down. This way, you dont have a belligerent owner coming out with a baseball bat or a gun while youre securing it.
I think repo drivers are the reason for the use of those bars. In fact, some cities call them repo bars because of that. It's very easy to quickly get the wheels off the ground. Some will wrap two rubber straps around the tires to make sure the car doesn't slip off the bars if they have drive a long distance.

I'm impressed by the skill of the towing guys. Able to manipulate the cars in such a close space, no banksman and not even needing to leave the cab. That's mad skills.
That is what happens when they do this every day all year. If you practiced at anything that much you'd become good at it. It isn't really that special at all.
mikejohns777 so what you're saying is they've dedicated time and effort to becoming skilled in something that requires you to dedicate time and effort to in order to be good at it. What's not special about that? Not that one has to do a special activity to impress someone either, it's a learned skill and they execute it rather well.
I don't think it particularly goes to the level of special. There are tow truck drivers that definitely do special things with their skills and knowledge... the ones doing recovery in very unique and interesting locations with flipped over semis and cars that are down embankments or in water. I don't think these guys could do their job, but I'm very certain the ones doing recovery work can do the jobs of these guys. I'll grant you this though: Not everyone can do what they are doing either. There are some real dummies out there.
mikejohns777 who's to say these guys don't flip cars? As a recovery firm you'll be limiting your business if you can't recover cars from the side of the road. I'd have thought that the ability to recover a car from a crash site is a standard skillset for any tow truck driver, it certainly is in the UK. Perhaps the adept way in which they were able to manipulate the vehicles in such a tight space comes from years of experience recovering vehicles from all sorts of situations.

They won't be taught a lesson until the fine for this type of stuff is raised to a very high level. I'm a firm believer that the amount you pay should be based on the type of car you have, for example if your car is a silly luxurious one (like a Masarati) then you should pay through the nose to get it back. Basically, the amount you should pay to get it out of the tow lot should be 10% of the MSRP, and the more it gets towed (IE: the more you think that you are above the law and can park anywhere, thus get towed) the higher the percentage gets.

It really can be great business. A buddy of mine owns a towing company with 5 trucks (planning to add 2 more within the next 6 months). In my city they can bid on which areas they want to cover. He moved up and bid on an area that covers a local sports arena. It includes a parking garage for the attendees but many try to get around it by parking in a local grocery store lot. On a big game night with a full staff he can bring in no fewer than 40-50 cars. He was considering at one point buying a flat bed where he could also tow a second car on it's wheels behind but decided that the extra time it takes to load two cars wasn't worth it.

The housing parking was all the time full of non-custommers cars at any thinkable day&night time, despite signs forbidding parking there. Grrr. We had to move heavy equipment some city blocks away from the housing building many times. 😕 Or break the law and park our car on the pathway. So I understand that you care about your customers.
This is SOOO satisfying to watch. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to "gtoger", you have made my year.
If that spot is in your lease, you can call a tow company yourself. At least here in CA you can. The tow companies are registered with the Police Department so they notify them when they tow and anyone that is towed can call and get the number for the company that towed them. There you go! Don't walk 2 blocks...sit in your car and wait for the tow company lol
I looked up the company name, it's a local brand (I live north of Dallas). I'm sure they have a big fleet of tow trucks since the violators hit like a tidal wave over Fridays and weekends. If you're in Dallas, take a drive around and see if you can have a buddy TRY to count how many people are totally ignoring parking laws. It's so bad that sometimes I can't maneuver my car through some back streets because so many cars are crammed in there! I bet the towing company owner is being worked to death on weekends and the drivers are pretty tired only 5 hours into their shifts!

lmao not everyone can afford the cab fee and may have someone willing to pick them up among other things. I would think it's pretty obvious and even easy to assume why people wait around for a bit.
After watching several of these clips I find this one the most entertaining because so many people upset that their car got towed get to stand there and watch as more cars get hooked up! Beautiful!
I deal with the same people at my work. There are tons of signs and they are shocked when their car is gone. I get pissed when cars park in front of our bay doors. I have no sympathy at all for these people.
My father had a reserved parking spot at work. It said, quite clearly, "Reserved for XXX." He would come back from lunch, and there would be some strange car in his spot. So he would park in back of it and go back to his office. Eventually he would get a call and go down to the receptionist, and some doofus would apologize like crazy and ask him to please move his car. On one occasion it was someone who was visiting the next building over, and it didn't dawn on him that he shouldn't be parking in a marked spot. Some people just don't think. And this was back in the early 70's. (And he was careful to park in a way that didn't block anyone else. Only the guilty party was obstructed).
If there are some notices indicated no parking or private parking area, these cars are well deserve to be tow away... People has to learn thru hard way...
well you have to figure the other side of the situation. Is it the company normal business hours. There are no parking signs in places like bank parking lots, etc. But 24 hour no parking shouldn't be authorized unless the company is doing business during those hours. Parking off hours isn't hurting anyone, if that's the case someone is just trying to make money, or annoy people. If your company is open 7am -6pm, someone at 11 pm parking and going to a nearby club, etc isn't affecting your parking area at all. Now, if you have people come into work at 7am and cars are parked, then you can call the Tow. But as you can read in the description of the poster, THIS business should be enforcing those parking rules because they are open that late and aren't a part-of-the-day business so its fine. They are keeping their spaces clear for customers/workers, etc in a small limited space. So on this, 100% kudos to the business and very enjoyable videos. On the other side, also remember that some places don't need to enforce 24 hour rules, but do so out of profit/meanness.
Even at odd hours, even if they are closed, if a company posts no parking signs, or Customer Only signs, they are allowed to enforce that policy. Some businesses have had bad experiences with people who parked overnight, and have had to create a no parking policy. It has nothing to do with making money, it has to do with keeping their lot clear and avoiding liability problems. It's their lot, they are allowed to create the policy they want. Private property. It's the same as your home: even if you are on vacation, it still belongs to you, and other people aren't allowed to use it.
No, if it's my property, and I have a right to it. I don't want you there parking at 11 pm. Just because it isn't hurting anyone doesn't mean you have a right to it. *Stop acting entitled* to things you don't even own.
These videos are so funny and satisfiying to watch, honestly. I work at an event venue and we have clearly marked the perimeter with signs that say "Parking only with authorization, all others will be towed!" as well as clearly marked emergency access points, emergency exits etc. One day before a concert I was called up because somebody parked their white Porsche Cayenne in the emergency access road, right underneath the sign that said "Do not park here, this is an emergency access road!" Since the concert hadn't started yet I went on the PA and made an announcement, urgently requesting said vehicle to be removed immediately, which it was. Less than a week later, at another concert, I was called up again, and what can I say? The very same Porsche Cayenne was parked in the very same spot. Since this time the concert had already started, I didn't go on the PA and immediately called the towing company. They arrived about half an hour later and were cheered on by about 20 people from our maintenance, kitchen, service and what not. When the concert had ended I went up to our concierge because that's where people usually go if they have questions or need help. Didn't take long for the owner of said Porsche Cayenne to shop up (a local politician, deputy mayor of my hometown, no less), and he was like "I understand my car might've been towed...", and I was just like "Yep, sure was..." He tried playing the whole thing down, like "Ah you know how it is, when you arrive so shortly before a concert and there are no other parking spots...", to which I just replied "Nope, quite honestly I don't know how that is, because first of all I always plan on arriving for a concert with quite a bit of time, and secondly, in case I only just barely make it on time, I don't park my car in an emergency access road, out of which I have been called away literally six days prior!!!" His face was red as a beet. I then gave him the number of the towing company so he could call them to make arrangements to get his car back, and really had to turn away to make sure I wasn't gonna burst out with laughter, because once he got the number he turned to his companion and went "Can I borrow your phone to call the towing company? Mine is in the car..." 🤣🤣🤣

I got towed once for parking where I shouldn't have. Got an Uber to the tow lot, paid the $120, and learned my lesson. They were smart too. They only took cash and had an ATM outside. That way you can't try and reverse the charges
It's a private business they can refuse any form of payment they want. Only government offices have to take loads of pennies. Lots of businesses refuse bills larger than 20s as well
I'm not a lawyer so take this with a grain of salt but my understanding is that the payment you make to the tow company is a payment of a service. I base this on the knowledge that if you take your vehicle from a tow company without paying you can be charged with theft of services. The service is the transport and storage of the vehicle. The reason the business does not have to take the pennies is because pennies are only legal tender for debts. If you wanted to pay your car off you'd go to your loan company... they would have to accept your pennies*** Unless it was stated contractually that they do not accept pennies. So the tow company can refuse pennies for payment of their services. The tow company would only be trying to help the penny paying customer by offering a means by which they can turn their pennies into a payment form the customer could use to pay the towing company.
They all go to another place where they can stare all night at their holy smartphone, without speaking to the people around them, cause those zombies are doing exactly the same.
Wow one of those tow drivers has skills angling that last car out. The reason so many people park in these no parking zones is cause you never know if/how serious the signs are. It's rare to get towed in a tow zone unless you leave the car for a long time. If people got towed like this consistently they would obey the signs. Such is life, sucks for them, tow company just doing their jobs.
Not if you're in Boston or a similar city. Some companies there will tow you after 30 seconds. Not even kidding. CVS parking lots in Allston are notorious.
Most people who park in the no parking zones are usually avoiding the paid parking zones. They try their best to save a quick buck, then fail to realize the cost of releasing your vehicle from an impound lot. These people fully deserve it.

The fact that everyone reads the signs immediately when they return just goes to prove that they read the signs, acknowledged it, then parked there anyways. they knew exactly where their car went.
My parents parked the car in a quiet allley filled with cars but a single spot was vacant still.
*Sure it's a legit parking place, look at all the other parked cars!*

When I worked for the city I parked my work truck wherever I wanted.

People would say "oh I didn't see the sign"

I think repo drivers are the reason for the use of those bars. In fact, some cities call them repo bars because of that. It's very easy to quickly get the wheels off the ground. Some will wrap two rubber straps around the tires to make sure the car doesn't slip off the bars if they have drive a long distance.

Amen to that!

The towing company must love this place
It really can be great business. A buddy of mine owns a towing company with 5 trucks (planning to add 2 more within the next 6 months). In my city they can bid on which areas they want to cover. He moved up and bid on an area that covers a local sports arena. It includes a parking garage for the attendees but many try to get around it by parking in a local grocery store lot. On a big game night with a full staff he can bring in no fewer than 40-50 cars. He was considering at one point buying a flat bed where he could also tow a second car on it's wheels behind but decided that the extra time it takes to load two cars wasn't worth it.

@@Whatupitskevin They're keeping at least some spaces clear for customers, otherwise the lot would just fill up with illegally parked cars. And the miscreants pay for the whole thing! Nothing scummy about it, it's excellent.
@@Whatupitskevin .. how is it scummy, those cars are parked on private property and there are plenty of NO PARKING SIGNS posted. Sounds like you like parking on private property and or in somebody else's space yourself ?

I've read the FAQ and I completely understand now. Some time ago I was working for company with a lot of servers & other devices in server housing facility (running 24/7) located in a center of a big city.
Where I live there is only one parking spot designated per unit and someone is always parking in mine but the building won't cover the tow so I end up having to park two blocks away or pay even though the parking spot is in my name. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to "gtoger", you have made my year.
Its called leaving a note dude...and the second time you smash the asshole's window with a hammer that night.
Slash their tires too, problem solved.
Usually the ones who get towed have to pay the fee if they parked in the wrong place.
i think its called super string ?
If that spot is in your lease, you can call a tow company yourself. At least here in CA you can. The tow companies are registered with the Police Department so they notify them when they tow and anyone that is towed can call and get the number for the company that towed them. There you go! Don't walk 2 blocks...sit in your car and wait for the tow company lol
Love the tow truck music. You know its going down as soon as the drums start up.
Man me too its bad ass time !
Love the tag team tow trucks...even MORE satisfying!
@@largol33t1 I bet the amount of money they end up making is worth it though
Time to expand the fleet!!
I can't help myself from binge watching this! It's it's so, satisfying.

if you literally owned a parking lot like so, and a tow truck, you could keep yourself in business and probably make a hefty profit..
It's funny that the videos seem to come from the property they are being towed from. It's a win win for them.
The videos are coming from the property, they need 24/7 access and alert the tow company immediately when there is an unauthorised vehicle parked.
That’s actually a brilliant plan.
Thats for life cause you always will have dumb and cheap drivers to not oay for parking and the counties always saying they dont have money for this and that but you jave dumb people just saying here is my money come get it but the county is too stupid to take the eazy money
No, because people would pay for a parking lot.
What you need is somewhere that's NOT a parking lot but is tempting for people to park in anyway.
What I don't get is why they are all waiting around there. It's not a valet service. They're not going to bring your car back if you wait long enough.
Trying to line up a ride home, is my guess.
obviously waiting for a ride? not that hard to infer sweetheart
All of those groups of people were waiting for a ride? None of them call a cab? Some of them were out there for over an hour. And if they were waiting for someone, why wait in the back on a side street? Go wait out front.
Why are you so concerned about how they're waiting for their ride lmao
lmao not everyone can afford the cab fee and may have someone willing to pick them up among other things. I would think it's pretty obvious and even easy to assume why people wait around for a bit.
"NO PARKING:
Violators will be posted to RUclips"
Obligatory "STOP! YOU VIOLATED THE LAW!"
Lol
*raped on youtube...what? whaaat?
Lmao.
The look on the dudes face after seeing two cars get towed away simultaneously by some graceful and cooperative towtrucks. Nice driving!
I like the cooperation between the tow drivers in this video. Great efficiency boost.
You are kind enough to have that built in seat/ramp for all those that wish to ignore signs and disregard private property, to sit and rest their tired legs. Props to ya's!!
Good spot for a parking lot party. Look at all the new people that can meet and they're obviously of the same ilk.
How about a nice shelter, with seats. Please feel free to sit and wait here for transport AFTER your car is towed.
I got towed once, but there was no sign indicating a tow away zone. I took pictures of the area...lot access points. around the fence. basically to show..no signs show tow zone..I got my car back free..Next month over a dozen tow away zone signs and markers were put up. I never got towed since...cause i READ TOW AWAY ZONE SIGNS! those 250+ dollar charges are not worth it.

In CA there is a minimum size that the signs must be for readability. I doubt any of the people towed would bother trying to look up the code however.
Says no parking on the garage door. They assume not to park infront of it so they can exit. But they do park on the sides.
Cool how both trucks can work together.

I caught one my dashcam and left a dent and scratch marks on my car. Now I have to pay for the damages since my insurance dont cover it. Some people just dont care.
me and my boyfriend were IN my car that isn’t tinted and someone leaned on the drivers window, my boyfriend knocked on the window hella hard and the person got up and had the nerve to look at us like we are psycho.

@Chris, your profile picture, you look like someone who would lean against someone's car but get mad at someone else who does it to you, and post a comment about it on a youtube surveillance channel.
Chris I had a woman construction worker lean against my car on the door just behind the driver's door while I was sitting in the driver's seat to balance herself and take a piss. I couldn't believe what was happening. I opened my door and started yelling at her and her excuse was that she didn't want to use the porta potty. It was annoying enough that the male construction workers were always coming over to the gym parking lot to pee in the grass, I was shocked that a woman was doing it within a couple feet of me right where I would walk getting out of my car.

I got towed once for parking where I shouldn't have. Got an Uber to the tow lot, paid the $120, and learned my lesson. They were smart too. They only took cash and had an ATM outside. That way you can't try and reverse the charges
From what I understand, it's not an enjoyable experience that anyone would willingly repeat.
I would give them pennies.
Rohdizafa Blake Thinks for a moment... Buys a coinsstar machine to place next to ATM.
I want to know where is everybody going after they park...
Must be a bar or dance club around the corner.
The dudes are taking their chicks to work the streets. That's how they are dressed, anyway.
The signs say, "No Event Parking" so I'm guessing there is some kind of sports or music stadium nearby.
They all go to another place where they can stare all night at their holy smartphone, without speaking to the people around them, cause those zombies are doing exactly the same.
My thoughts exactly. There must be a restaurant nearby.
Greg McCauley making lots of money
Not if you're in Boston or a similar city. Some companies there will tow you after 30 seconds. Not even kidding. CVS parking lots in Allston are notorious.
Most people who park in the no parking zones are usually avoiding the paid parking zones. They try their best to save a quick buck, then fail to realize the cost of releasing your vehicle from an impound lot. These people fully deserve it.
