Beautiful redfish. I figured a monster snook would be the first big fish you got from the microskiff, but a red definitely is a fitting quarry for that boat. A big red was the first fish to really make my drag scream from my kayak as well.
I said this on one of your earlier vids, but I get a kick out of your enthusiasm with reds. That is on the low end of what we would call a bull red in Louisiana. I would go crazy if I caught a 20 inch Snook.
Come on up to the Goon! Been over there for 5 weekends straight and the bite is on point with water being higher then normal allowing for some good backwater action where most boats can’t get! Tights lines brotha 🤙🏽
nice redfish dude. my P.B> was between 38-40 inches and was an absolute toad. I got her on a live shrimp under a float. scales bigger than a quarter. never stop fishing. keep the great content coming. nothing beats coming home from work to a new lawson vid to watch as i relax and eat dinner.
I admit that catching a redfish of that size is uncommon and i got really lucky. I also was fishing at least 3-4 hours a day every day so that helped a lot. I've had some amazing topwater eats from flats redfish. and I've also hooked nice ones where i barely felt the bite. they are a formitable and smart fish to target.
Nice fish! I live in the panhandle and we slay huge bull reds in kayaks on topwater. My PB red is 47". We average 36" reds, but that red was a tank! Good work man!
im happy for you man, but up here in VA that is still considered a puppy drum, you can get BIG bull reds 50+ inches out on the eastern shore and in the chesapeake bay

My 7 year thinks he spotted ole Lawson Saturday morning early at a Cumberland Farms convenience store in Jensen Beach heading north. He loves watching your videos with me and saw the new Rover with a Ridgeline. He got all excited and tried to wave down whoever it was.
