Dude I figured out about the hole in the frame like 7 months ago I was like dammm😂 but I appreciate it! Always trying to improve and working on another video now about a new set up stay tuned. Just trying to have fun and provide value.
Man I’ve been in between getting a 2 .5 inch or a 3 but I just don’t want a squatted look if I get a 3 bug after seeing yours I don’t see it at all so I might get the 3! Does it seem to look squatted at all?? Love how the truck came out man
I would definitely go with the 3 no squat look at all! I’m getting wheels and tires for the truck Tuesday and I’ll make a video of that as well so you will be able to see it off the stock rims and all
You need to do the upper control arms when you go 2 in level or bigger or you'll regret it eventually. That factory upper ball joint will pop, custom offsets sells there 3 in level kits now with uca for that reason. Then alignment lol
Is it a absolute haft to ? I’m on a budget & I just bought these 3 inch blocks to raise the front on my 02 Silverado . I’m hoping I don’t need to get the upper control arms
My husband did the leveling on his Chevy Silverado 1500 3” front and 2” in the rear. We tried to do the alignment, but they said the couldn’t do it because the truck was too high. Do you think it’s because we need to buy the upper control arms?
I recommend taking it to a shop that you know works lifted/leveled trucks if you don't know any, type in alignment shops near me in google OR go to a "chain shop" like tires plus. I took mine to tires plus three times with my leveling kit and bigger tires (33's with -44 offset) and they do it every time. To conclude take it somewhere where they have a laser alignment machine. They print you out everything they did and what it reads!
No joke my upper control arms broke three weeks ago. I ordered new kryptonite upper control arms. I’m going to install them tomorrow. I’ll make a new video about it and how to do it. Also, I have my stock wheels and tires just sitting in a safe place just in case I need them.
@@Younginfliction wow that’s crazy man. I actually took mine off-roading and all idk if I should make a video on doing that incase I break something haha😂
Yeah it’s weird how it measured 2 inches but when you put it on it raises it 3 inches. Also I measured front and back after to let everyone know what difference it made 👍🏼
It’s not a 1:1 ratio in the front with the geometry and the little hole u got in the frame is for your caliper buddy👍🏻 it was nice to watch

The attention card you said was not important says that the spacer thickness and lift amount are not a 1 to 1 ratio!
Thanks for that sway bar tip, couldn't figure out how to get strut out
No problem I knew someone would need that tip

You’re right, That’s why I don’t care for IFS front ends.
Yeah I definitely want to get some new upper control arms

@@timothyhenson8853 you don’t absolutely have to I didn’t change mine yet
Needa drop differential so c/a won’t break

Did you guys get the alignment situated? There’s specific locations where they do lifted and non lifted vehicles

1ST THING U WOULD WANT TO DO IS SET THE E BRAKE CHOCK UR BACK WHEEL AND PLACE A JACKSTAND UNDER UR TRUCK SIR
Year update? Just Got the exact same truck hows it holding? Any shakes? Any vibration?
Its almost been a year ill make a review on it for sure!
How do you get the upper control arm out so easy I have a 2017 and I can’t get mine out for nothing. I tried picket forks and everything
Check out my Kryptonite video I explain everything you need to know!!
Well how’s it holding up? We’re your wheels in this video the stock 20” wheels?

Lol alright. I’ll be looking forward to the new video.
@@StellsBellz awesome thank you
have you had any problems yet. do you still have stock control arms in? if so any problems
No I don’t have any problem’s. I still have the stocks on and it’s fine!
@@DrewLuderTV so you never changed the upper control arms
And it still rides and drives fine?
i’m wanting to do this but i’m worried about my components on my 14’ silverado. did yours turn out alright?
Yeah everything on mine I can say works perfectly
If you lift 3" front and rear Do you use the stock shocks ?
I only lifted the front to level it out
If you leave the rear stock, no need for replacement shocks unless you want.
09 Silverado 1500 from ground to wheel well is 35 in front and 38.5 in the back so a 3 inch will work good right
Definitely would go for it!
If I lift 3 inches in the front and 2;inch drop shackles in the back would you think it would look squatted
i think ive seen this and you might call it squat and i hate it too, but when its just slight i call it the mean lean
Yeah I think it would
Unless your truck has less than a 1in rake, you should be fine.
Any issues so far ?
Not at all!
@@DrewLuderTV damn have the exact same truck and spacer not even 2 days cv axles started shooting out grease 🤦🏽♂️

Are u replacing upper control arms too?
I mean I need to and I want to beef up the tie rods as well
Wtf its 2 inchs i don't understand why you measured in the rear you didn't install kit

That’s only 2 inches…..
