    Change the shox before you change the key.. won't have the issue with the suspension binding. Too many professional videos I've noticed lately that doesn't show the correct order

      Took me all day with the amount of rust I had to deal with. Literally had to weld a block onto the torsion bar and hit it with a sledge hammer to get it broke loose

    Any body have an issue with the shock pressing against the lower control arm where the bump stop hits just behind the bottom bolt for the shock just did mine and it was not easy to put the shock in looks like it dented the back side of the shock

    I'm looking for this kit (roughly 2" suspension lift, Bilstien equivalent shocks&struts) for a 2001 Chevy 1500HD 4x4, but have had no luck as I explore the website linked. Any guidance?

    Why do you do both rear shocks at once instead of one at a time replacement? Isn’t one at a time much safer?
    Can’t you do everything on one side then the other with final tightening at end?

      That's what i was thinking. If you leave one side connected it'll surely keep everything in alignment and the axle won't turn but should drop enough to change the block out

      Ah dam that’s okay ended up putting a few blocks on the Jack raised the back end enough to release pressure on the blocks and finished leveling it

    You can in fact run 35” tires with a little bit of trimming and no lift, would not recommend as your suspension can not fully compress and it really messes with your tie rods, I Had 20x12.5 35” 2002 Silverado 2wd

    Bought these keys and can't get them cranked up, broke the middle bolt on one of those puller tools trying to bring the new key up.. what am I doing wrong??

      @@nbsbryant85 yea i have an 04 and finally got my wheels and tires this week. i put a leveling kit on it and i was able to run 17x8.5 -0 wheels and 35x12.5R17 tires with minor trimming, shit looks clean!

      @@FukOff07 nope lol. I think safe bet from the research I did was 33 12.50 with this leveling kit and if you get the 3inch lift for an extra $250 then you can safely run 35 12.50. In the videos they say a certain offset allows for a larger tire

      You cannot, this truck is 4wd with torsion bars. Rough country does make 3” lift spindles tho for 2wd

      @@kozmicflush980 i have a 2wd silverado as well, i have that 3 inch spindle with a 1 inch spacer on top of the spring and i’m running 35’s, i have fiber glass fenders and a bumper that i built, if you did decide to go that way, you might have to trim your bumper a bit and maybe remove the fender well

    Why not just shim the stock bolt and torsion bar key and save $100's of dollaz?!!.. well edit.. use a long bolt?

      Eventually the key will hit the top of the crossmember brace. You cooould take the key out and rotate back one notch
      But I doubt you be able to crank that up.
