I was contemplating the D'Amore 400.4 and 1500.1 I've never used them (heard) them before, what amplifiers are similar in sound and or build quality? Oh would a decent AGM battery be enough or do the D'Amores need a dual battery set up.
I'd say their sound quality is up there with alpine PDX- these amps are very detailed, great output, and realistic. No coloring of the signal. I have not used a 400.4, only the 700.4. However, I have a 400.4 coming in soon:) the output on the monoblock is extremely CLEAN, &accurate. ( for reference I've used audio control, audison, mosconi( but not the pro series), sundown, old school class a/b phoenix gold, alpine PDX,&d4s amps.
@@christiandshatto7765I was wondering if I could get away with one good quality AGM battery if I used a 400.4 and a (1000.1 or 1500.1) instead of my like new 4 channel Rockford Fosgate Prime AB amp and my kicker class d mono 1200.1 amp. I'm wondering if the D'Amore amps are that much more efficient than the RF Prime AB amp & Kicker sub amp? I know the footprint on the D'Amore is much smaller than the RF Prime amp. Thanks for any insight
@@charlesabbott9605 their extremely efficient. Look at Williston audio lab, here on yt, he shows the 400.4 efficiency at 4&2ohm stereo, and 4 ohm bridged
Christian, I have a question i wanted to ask you about your Audio Control LC5 Pro video but you have the comments off. I have a LC5Pro as well in my 2011 Ford raptor, i only have it hooked up to my subs as the moment because the sub signal was easy to get to. Im running the stock head unit but it has a amplifier in line. I don't know how to get the signal for the mids and higs. Can i get the signal after the amp at the speakers or before signal to the amplifier? If you can hit me up that would be cool. Thanks. Trevor.
You want to grab the signal after the factory amplifier- also, any audio control product can handle up to 40 volts RMS of high level input, so your lc5i can handle it no problemo,👍🏼👍🏼😄
Hey, since their on sale, I'd say give them a try. ( I know there's some SQ guys that run multiple of these and have won sq comps.) Hard to say though for your elates which one you should get because you know as well as I do, elates want a lot of power!!! I tried the 700.4 on the elates, which sounded good, but then I got some kx2 on sale and have been running those with the 400.4 on the KX Tweeter and rear fill and then the 350.2 on the 6 1/2 mids( I can't help it, I like the morels and the focals, go figure!!!! & Thanks for commenting:-)
@@christiandshatto7765 I know you were replying to another post, but I just recently purchased a pair of Ultimo SCs, considering running each at 4ohms.
Hi Christian, you remind me of myself I try so many amps because I’m bored. You should try the Sony ES amps. They are nice! Would love to know where they fall in the ones you’ve tried. I’ve tried audio control, arc audio x2, hertz Mille amp, kenwood excelon, Rockford power, focal performance, both focal mini amps FDS/performance) Rockford m5 1000 (this sub amp is no joke and small. ) I like the sonics of the arc audio amp but love the hertz Mille pro for its naturalness. The Sony es is up there.i would love to see how the audio frog amps sound for D class compared.
I've been wanting to try them. In the near future I will be getting the Mosconi pro430- it has Class a bias, then can shift into a/b. I have not spoken to anyone disappointed in that amp!! I heard Andy's son's Volvo( audioFrog) in a demo last spring and it sounded really nice.
@@christiandshatto7765 yeah. I’m finding any decent class D more than $500 range and a good tune. All sound relatively similar. I think that’s my conclusion. To get into the next tier is what you’re referring too with that badass macaroni Mosconi . I know we all love and follow 5 star and you’re a good client of deans!
This is great finding people who are into the same thing as me. Friends think I'm crazy always swapping systems out. Just got the Mosconi Aero 8-12 and trying to decide on what amps. Went from Alpine, jl vxi, Helix, the new Audison and now the aero. Running mille legends and dynaudio 10's in the doors. So the D'amores sounded good? If you had to choose about of all you have tried which amps would you go with? Thanks love the content!
The Mosconi 1 I have, imo, sounds best running factory straight into it, vs. the better Mosconi gui.( doesn't sound bad, just nothing to justify buying the two separate, imo.) The D'amore amps are detailed for class d, and sounds smoother/natural. The D'amore mono block has EXTREMLY clean output. The salt monoblock is great too. Either, would be good choices, imo.
Great job, I got the 750.1 and the 400.4. Haven’t used them yet, for a new build.

Do the sub amps sound as good as a salt 3k amp?@@christiandshatto7765
I'm going to run the 350.2 for 2 sets of Tweeters and the 700.4 for 2 sets of 3.5s and 4 6.5s. B2 riot 3 way 4 ohm setup
Midbass is good, signal coming from the mosconi aero 8/12 dsp. I'm currently running the mosconi pro 430 amp

Still haven’t ran my 1000.1 may switch it w old kicker cxa 600 run it at 2 ohms see if I notice a difference
Always love that pro wiring on your installs , so is the output on 700 about the same as 350 ?
Correct, the 700.4 is simply two 350.2s under one heat shink
Very nice install!

Nice video Christian, very clean sound..by the way what subs are you running?
