"Farmed animals should be grateful" is such a perverse statement.

I never really thought about where my meat came from until my sister who is vegan and my mum who is also vegan showed me a video . I was horrified and decided to become vegetarian 2 years ago . But a few months ago I thought about it and dairy is just as bad as meat (although I never had dairy anyways ) I decided to become vegan ,and if you are thinking about going vegan , please do because it was the best desicion I have ever made in my life . ❤️❤️

Everytime my family theorizes about how some animal product is made whilst eating dinner or sth. I'm shocked again and again how they can describe these processes of abduction, slavery and cruelry with nothing in mind but the taste of "the end result". It's so messed uo and they don't understand no matter how often I tell them.

Of all the excuses for not going vegan, this is one of the most disturbing, and sounds like the rationalisation of an abuser with a guilty conscience.

Veganism is slowly gaining momentum as people are beginning to make the connection thanks to activists like yourself.
Health benefits are a big thing also, I'll not go back, I feel great on a vegan diet.
My advice to anyone is try plant based, even just for a day and see how you feel 🌱🌾🥑🍠

Even if animals are treated well while they are alive it's not justified. If that dog breeder treated them terrific but killed the ones he couldn't sell after 3 months because they weren't puppies anymore and harder to sell, most people would condemn him. Swap out that dog with a pig and we pay for it to happen.
But let's be honest, very seldom are farm animals treated decently.
    Thank you Ed!

So many just blindly follow what they call cultural ‘norms’ and don’t use their own common sense to see that what they are doing is causing an immense amount of pain and suffering...

Gio Tag plants and animals are equal? plants feel pain tho? you don’t really believe that do you?
“Animals sense and fear pain biologically to avoid danger and survive. Animals have the ability to move and escape danger. Plants are immobile. They never evolved to feel pain because they cannot escape danger. It makes no sense for them to have evolved to feel the way animals do. Not to mention they don't have a brain or central nervous system.
And obviously we do the least amount of harm to both plants AND animals when we directly consume plants.”

The same fucking thing with humen. We're oppressed to work to share eveyrything like a small economy but in a large scale. Other does forestry, others farm, others builds the places for people to do their chores, others give entertainment for other economies workers. We work to eat the food one group does, like other group does for other thing we work for as a community that is ran by those who does the littlest but takes the most they're oppressors the same way we oppress animals why dont you try to help us but care so much of those who are less oppressed?

its not from this video but i remember one of your videos saying that farm animals today are not found in the wild (their cousins typically arent born with the specific modifications to produce more for farmers). yet you refer to "in the wild" in several videos about farm animals. isnt it a bit oxymoronic to say "in the wild" for farmed animals who have been bred in non-wild circumstances? wouldn't it be better to "natural behaviors"? sorry i just found it weird for farm animals to both be noted to not exist in the wild but asked to be treated as if they were in the wild?

Moral obligation is decided by the relationship between two parties. All your arguments fail because they all involve very different relationships.
The moral obligation a farmer has to farm animals is vastly differen than the moral obligation parents have to their children.
The same goes with the other comparisons. Your premises destroy your argument.

A child who suffered in Syria is compared to a suffering farm animal... Smh. One of the many reasons most people shy away from vegans. I like your style, Ed, because you're calm and respectful, but this was your worst argument.
