Just wanted to let you know I began watching you before I even began nursing school and I graduated yesterday with my BSN ❤️ wanted to thank you for being a role model for me!!! much love to you!!
Recap 1. Carry a notebook -> saves time, can reference something in your own words, remember procedures or meds 2. Seek out opportunities-> “you’re not going to get any better by not practicing your skills” 3. Ask as many questions as you can -> make sure you write it down to reference to solidify 4. Ask for feedback -> during preceptorship you can do this so you can improve “leave ego at the door”
Ive been watching your videos since I was in nursing school and I just started my new grad program this month. Super thankful for all your advice over the years!
Hey! I started watching your videos in 2018. I remember watching your videos when you were in nursing school. Thank you so much for your honest and quality videos. I started school in Summer 2019 and now a senior in nursing school! Again thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! Greatly appreciated!
I have been hooked on your channel and I swear we are twins! It’s really comforting and encouraging to hear advice, tips, and knowledge from someone with a similar personality and traits. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us and being real about nursing. ❤
OMG this helps so much I just got my acceptance letter in for the nursing program on Friday, April 8 and I starts August 29 so right now I am in the process of paying for a background check drug tests and all that expensive stuff that you talked about in your previous videos😂😂😂
Hello, been watching your videos for some time now. I'm excited to be heading into my 4th semester in August. I'm really nervous about precepting, so any tips you can offer would be great. Also would love to see a part 2.
tips every nurse should hear use a satilite with youtube they say learn as much about satilite nursing as much as possible with google earth and youtube tip number 2 use lazer tech 3 use bluetooth tip 4 use wifi tech with your i watch or samsung watch there is no such thing as a platform an app is a program tech full stop tip 5 use your satlite google earth phone or google map phone with youtube to learn on the go and while in surgery phones are allowed in surgery food not so much
I honestly wish I could talk to you. I've been trying to pursue nursing since 2012 and ive ran into so many issues and haven't been able to finish. I was in a nursing program my senior year of high school and I had a D because it was a challenge for me and I needed to study harder and apply myself more. I also got accepted to another LPN program in 2020 and I ended up not making the score I needed to go to my second semester. I feel like all of this is a sign that it's not for me or that something needs to change. I do the absolute best I can when I'm in school and my grades never turn out how I want or I pass because the class was easy and it's not much of a challenge for me. Do you have any advice for me? I want to be an RN but if i wanted to get that done I have a long way to go. Not to mention I ran out of money from financial aid and now I may not ever be able to finish school because the money is gone. I would need a loan or scholarship in order to have the resources i need to finish my degree. Im upset with myself because i dont even have an associate's and I have 55 credits at thomas nelson and 37 at ecpi university. IDK what to do!?
Hang in there love. I’m in a similar situation and feeling so discouraged these days. I’m focusing on changing my habits in my every day life (sleep, phone time, healthy eating and exercise habits, etc.) to maintain a balanced schedule that will allow the study and focus time I will so desperately need while in nursing school. One step at a time! Not everyone feels called to be a nurse but those of us who are dedicated and passionate will put in whatever is necessary to make it happen and it will all be worth it in the end! Good luck 🤍
