    The patch turned out great I had bought the font just yesterday and it was good to see you do a video on it. On my font there was one more step where you could add a border on top of it. I guess it was like a finishing look it was optional. I was just curious how yours was going to turn out if you put it on there but I guess the font you bought didn’t offer that. I also didn’t realize how huge the font was that a couple of the letters I couldn’t make because I just have the SC 1900 so I will just have to downsize some of the letters..

    • @SouthernAudacity
      @SouthernAudacity  8 месяцев назад

      The font I got didn't have the finishing stitch on top, but I ended up sewing the patch to the jacket and it looks like it has a finishing stitch afterwards...lol I should have take a picture. But yes, these letters are big!

    CAn you show what the placement stitch looking like on your screen? Does every machine have a outline stitch settling?

    • @SouthernAudacity
      @SouthernAudacity  3 года назад +1

      Yes. In my next video (I am working on it this weekend), I will show the placement stitch on the screen. As far as outline or trace functions, not all machines have this function. For applique designs, digitizers will normally put a placement stitch in the design. Thank you for watching!

    How well does the red Heat N Bond hold up in the washing machine?

    • @SouthernAudacity
      @SouthernAudacity  Год назад

      The Heat N Bond Ultra alone holds up for a few washes (6 or 7 for me washing with warm water). Now I always stitch around the patches with a matching thread for anything that will be washed often.

    Hello! Will the adhesive hold up to many washes without stitching it onto fabric?

    • @SouthernAudacity
      @SouthernAudacity  2 года назад +1

      Honestly, I recommend that the patches are stitched around the edges for items that will be washed often.

      I don't have any content on making one from scratch, but if you have Sew What Pro or Brilliance Essentials, you can use premade appliques and fonts to merge together to create a patch with your name on it.
