This is such a great idea! I love it. I will definitely be trying this. Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Awesome video. Can you please explain the water soluble stabilizer application? Do you completely remove it toward the end?
Yes you remove it at the end. Any excess that remains you can remove with some warm water and it will melt away!
@@ricomatv thanks a million
Awesome Hack!! So can I use this method on my Brother SE625 Machine?
Yep definitely
Looks great!!! Where can I find that applique font?
We digitized this design on our Chroma software! You can learn more about it here -> ricoma.com/us/software/chroma
Truly Awesome idea, I always wonder how it was done🎯
Thank you for watching!
This is perfect! definitely going to use this method.
Great to hear!
Fantastic work! Thank u so much for sharing this! I love ur videos!
Thanks for watching and glad you liked it!
How do you set the machine up to do the starting and stopping like you did in the picture? Are there instructions someplace that I can find after I get the varsity letters?
Hi! Are you referring to the color stops?
AWSOME
Video. Do you take small orders for embroidery work?
Hi there, thanks so much for watching. You can place orders here: garmeo.com/
Awesome job. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
You can first trace the letter on the terrycloth, cut it, and then trace the letter on the jacket and paste the terrycloth letter on top
Thanks for your feedback! Thanks for sharing!
Beautifully done!
Thank you! Cheers!
So I have a question, could you used other materials with other textures (i.e. leather or any other material) with this technique?
I actually found the answer to my question. It's called "applique". I'm new to embroidery. I just purchased my ricoma em 1010 and waiting on it to get here.
So glad to hear it!
ANY!
Great video. May I ask, what’s the link to the fiskars scissors and curved scissors? I looked on ricoma and didn’t see them. Thanks

Good evening, I am learning from ground 0 on this bussines, I don't know anything about digitizing, I think that is my next goal, so my question is where do I get those letters without the inside filling, I mean just the edges, do I have to custom digitizing? That cost about 10 bucks, or is there a company who has those pre design letters, waiting for your answer, by the way it was a great idea since my son is on high school yet
Hi Miguel, you can hired a digitizer or you can digitized it yourself. If you were looking for approved digitizers to work with, we recommend joining our Embroidery Custom Apparel group on Facebook, and simply click on the files section of the group for the list!

Good job and very creative!
Big thanks
Does it have to be digitized for applique?
Hi Constance, yes, you can view an example on how to digitize it with Chroma through here --->ruclips.net/video/MlJIeqD4HAY/видео.html
can you include the chroma project so your user can follow along?
Hi Willy, We usually purchase our designs for Embroidery Hub episodes but you can watch Chroma digitizing videos on our Chroma RUclips channel, right here -> ruclips.net/channel/UC8S6rH8vVsEH_D64lklGTFA
Awesome sauce!!!!!

Can I have the reference where you bought?the letter man jacket please
Hi! You can actually purchase this letterman jacket through Amazon!

Our pleasure, thanks for watching!
So did you just do a double outline trace?
Thank you‼️💯
Thanks so much for watching!
Id like to see the real chenille patches
This is so helpful! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Can you do this with home Embroidery machines?
yes as long as you can hoop the garment.
Do I just need to look for an appliqué varsity font design to do this?
No, you don't! We got this Varsity Jacket from the link below.
www.sanmar.com/
Very nice 👍🙂
Thank you! Cheers!

What’s the name of the design I need to purchase
Hi, this was digitized in house but we recommend looking at Etsy!
question. What is the size of the satin stitch. I've tried this method before but I can never seem to get that clean look because my satin stitch isn't large enough.
Hi there, thanks so much for watching. You typically want the density of your satin stitch to be around 0.3. Hope this helps!
How do I create a file for this type faux chenille

where can i get that type of fabric from?
HI there, thanks so much for watching. The fabric used in this video is just terry cloth or you can use a washcloth. You should be able to find it at most department stores. Hope this helps!
nice one
Thanks for watching!
So cool, what kind of file do we need to be able to do this
DST file.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
What’s the embroidering machine that you’re using ???🤩
Hi there, this is a Ricoma EM-1010. You can learn more about it in this video: ruclips.net/video/QAqgtCMdPXg/видео.html&ab_channel=RicomaEmbroideryMachines
What width of satin stitch are you using to do this ?
Hello, this design was purchased unfortunately we did not digitize it ourselves.
what is the name of the fabric you used ?
HI there, thanks so much for watching. You can use terry cloth for this hack!
How do you know where to place that R?
she skips those parts...!!
@@WillyPimentel its not her job to show where to place a design. Search that specifically. And she's giving out free game. Dont complain, Willy.
Can i hire you for a project?
What do you need?
LOOKS TO EASY I WILL TRY THIS
Let us know how it goes :)
Im loving this! Thank you for sharing this. Ill use this on my EM1010. This will definitely add a major boost to our current success. @pincgatorgear
Thanks so much for watching!
Anyone in India who can do this?
Hi! Were you looking for the embroidery machines?
@@ricomatv i was looking to buy an embroidery patch😭
How to run trace slowly?
if that not a true hack i dont know what is well done
Thanks so much for watching. This was a fun hack for us too!
Please Don't Skip over the processes. the hard part of hooping and aligning the hoops underneath the jacket is also important since we are learning about the process and not the final product. Hope you can continue to speed up the video without skipping important parts.
It’s not an embroidery 101 tutorial video. It’s a Chenille patch “HACK” video. Suggestion is to search for videos on how to embroider.
Thank you sooooooo much 🥺
You’re welcome!
