Yes sir! Another great video, I'm diabetic and grateful to GOD for it. With the info gleaned from my blood glucose, and friends like you; I've lost 150 lbs.
I'm new to this but in my mind I'm still worried about calories-I can't believe this doesn't make a person gain weight but I'm going to try it-wish me luck!
Brother Dennis, I can't tell you how much this video changed my life today. I happen to stumble across this video and decided to try to make it. I tweaked the recipe a little. I used almond milk and heavy whipping cream. I used walnuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, and coconut along with the chia seeds. I added a few blueberries, some Splenda, and a good tablespoon of cinnamon. It was fantastic! One thing I hated about being diabetic is having to give up oatmeal. I love a good bowl of oatmeal. It's so filling and so satisfying but it spikes my blood sugar like crazy. This is the perfect substitute and it tastes phenomenal! Thank you for this video ! God bless you and benedicta!
Incredible. Just incredible. I just made this cereal this morning for the first time. I halved your recipe because it seemed a little too much for me. Firstly, it was delicious. Secondly, and this is the incredible part that I don’t think has ever happened to me before - my blood sugar went DOWN after I ate this. Before I ate it was 105 and one hour after it was 102! I didn’t trust that so 15 minutes later I tested again and it was 97. Next time I make it I might test at 30 minutes after to see if it goes up at all.
I know this comment is years late, but, thank you, Dennis. I am so grateful You Tube put your videos into my feed. you are saving my life, one video at a time. It's the way you give back, sharing all this information, helping people to help themselves.
1/2 C heavy whipping cream 1 C water 1/3 Cup Chia seeds Handful of sunflower seeds Handful of walnuts Handful of almonds Handful of blueberries Stevia to taste Combine and allow to sit for 1 hour. Enjoy!
Being a person with insulin resistance, I am a believer in what you are saying about low carb, and "intermittent fasting " and a believer and recipient of the Grace of Jesus. So your channel is an extra bonus in ministering to my health. At 65 years old struggling with #s in the upper 200s, I have seen reductions by lowering calorie intake and carb intake. Your channel is helping me with one issue I have had problems with...CONSISTENCY. God's blessing on your ministry both physically and spiritually.
I will make this delicious chia seed pudding for breakfast tomorrow. I will add almonds, walnuts and blueberries and use almond milk. I will check my blood sugar an hour after. Thank you Dennis for sharing this recipe!
Happy Saturday Dennis! I ate half of my Chia Seed pudding. It is absolutely delicious 😋. I checked my blood sugar after one hour and it went down! I will be making this often. Also, Trader Joe’s has a tortilla called Carb Savvy Tortillas. It pretty much keeps my blood sugar stable. I thought I would share that.
I just got my first blood work back since starting my low carb lifestyle. My A1C went from 7.9 to 6.2. I still have a way to go but this is a start. I am so thankful for your channel. Couldn’t have done it without your help.
God bless you, i been watching your videos and I been able to learn what foods I can eat. After struggling with so much anxiety, I first prayed God for wisdom and to guide me to what to do to prevent my A1c levels to go up, since I was told tha I am prediabetic and almost at the top line. Having a diabetic mother who died with complications, (heart failure, renal disease) I feel blessed thank to all the people who post their stories and their positive advices. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the recipe. I am type 2 diabetic and just tried this "DIY" cereal for the first time, fantastic. My blood sugar went from 110 pre-meal to 113 one hour after, amazing. My lowest recorded 1 hour blood sugar rise I have ever documented. I first tried a few spoonfuls of this concoction without the Stevia and found it a bit bland, but adding just a bit of Stevia made the whole thing very tasty. Another meal added to my list of diabetic friendly foods. Update: I tracked my blood sugar levels hourly and got the following: * Before: 110 * 1 Hour: 113 * 2 Hour: 128 * 3 Hour: 125 * 4 Hour: 110 Overall for a 600 calorie, 35 gram carb meal, that is still a very good result for me.
I think the protein count is somewhere in the 15-20 grams range I have tested this meal 3 times now, and each time was terrific results. The last test results: * Before: 105 * 1 Hour: 118 * 2 Hour: 116 * 3 Hour: 114 * 4 Hour: 104 To never go over 120 is fantastic for a cereal type meal. A single measly Weetabix biscuit with a measly 100 ml milk and no added sugar, has less carbs and way less calories than this DIY cereal, but the measly Weetabix biscuit sends my blood sugar over 150. Also a single Weetabix biscuit has so few calories you still VERY hungry after eating it.
Hi there! I've been following your videos for 6 months now and using your help to lower my A1C from 8.9 to 6.6 today and my doctor is extremely pleased. Since 6.6 is the cusp of using metformin she wants me back in August and said she'll probably cut out the meds at that time. Thank you for your help. :) PS - I've also lost 22 pounds so far.
I use this now except i use half coconut milk and half heavy whipping cream. You talk about good ? AHH ! Delicious ! thank you so much for the awesome recipe !!
After watching your video on chia pudding, I went ahead and made it with the ingredients I had. After 1-1/2 hours, I re-tested and was absolutely floored! My blood sugar was only 1 point higher!!! Thank you sooooo much! This will be a part of my diet for now on. Again, thank you for sharing this. Cream, water, chia seeds, sliced almonds, pecans, sunflower seeds, sweetener.
So glad I came across this one. I plan to implement it into my regular meals. I view and save many of your test videos which reveals things to avoid or to adjust. I also check my mg/dl to see how foods affect me. Keeping within 85 to 140 is also my goal. Reversed my diabetes in 3 months doing this from 8.9 down to 5.8 a1c.
Oh my goodness - this “cereal” is awesome! It got really awesome when I added the blueberries. I am fairly new to eating low carb and intermittent fasting and I am getting to the point of getting bored with the few recipes that I have so this came just in time for me. It really adds pleasant flavor and texture to my day. Like you, I love cereal and have eaten cereal for dinner quite often - now I have an alternative that I love and look forward to. I look forward to eating heated up during the winter. Also 8 need a few things that act as “comfort food” for me and this is exactly that. Thank you so much for sharing this and bless you.
Thanks for this great tip I just started fasting and seems to working good for me diabetes today I was able to go 19 hrs without eating and felt super great ! Will definitely try this as a treat 🙏
Love your videos i recently became diabetic. Caught me so off guard. I been trying to control my blood sugar with diet and get off this metformin. Thanks
Try making breakfast smoothies. There are lots of low sugar ones on RUclips. You can put the chia seeds or flax seed into them. I can make one thats approx 110 cals and low sugar/low carbs. Taste great too.
HI, you are my most trusted source since I found your videos a few months ago. I bought the ingredients today to make this cereal. Did some research on chia seeds and found some disturbing info about chia seeds. The info said it can cause constipation, stomach problems & drop your blood pressure to dangerous levels. What are your thoughts on this. Has anyone watching this experience any of those negative effects? Thank you.
Looks great! I’m thinking of trying to soak them in the cup of water the nite b4, then completed then add all the rest ingredients in the morning.. thank you n God bless u
Thank you bother for all you do. I am diabetic and follow all your advice! I just made this pudding and it is sitting in the fridge! Added cinnamon to make it taste like cinnamon oatmeal. Thank you and Blessings to you and your beautiful wife!!! Keep up the amazing work!!
This is great thank you! I am diabetic and have started making some versions of this . So yummy to cure my crave for dessert without creating spikes in blood sugar
Thank you so much for share that recipe , I have that for breakfast this morning and that was absolutely Delish, next time I’ll have coconut milk instead
Chia seeds, hemp hearts, unsweetened coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, sliced almonds, walnuts, melted butter, stevia, maple extract touch of salt. Bake that in the oven till lightly brown, stirring often so it won’t burn. Keep it in the fridge and enjoy with nut milk or dry. Crunchy sweet low carb goodness.
Good for your blood sugar but all these nuts and seeds contain alot of phytic acid what binds to things like iron zinc magnesium so your body has a hard time absorbing them
Nw So true. Taking supplements can help with this, magnesium glycinate has a good absorption rate. You can also soak nuts prior to consuming them to eliminate the acid. Also if you consume meat, this will also balance this out. Personally I view nuts as a special treat, rather than a breakfast.
I remember when Chia was the rage, because it made you feel full. This is a great way to "Dress it up," and we get to enjoy something different. *Thanks.* 👍🏼
I’ve been watching your videos for some time now and although I’m not diabetic, since watching my carbohydrates and sugar intake very strictly it’s really helped my health and my training and body composition has seriously changed for the better. I think humans are not designed for carbohydrates anyway,I only take carbohydrates after lifting weights is that ok? You are definitely changing and saving lifes may God Bless you. I hope you see this message and reply, You are such an intelligent kind man.
Chia seed pudding is good I'll have to try some cream with it! Also, I prefer warm cereal in the winter and have done some experimenting with trying this warm. The best way I have found is to warm the liquid and then add the chia seed after you are done warming. It is very good that way. My goal is to start replacing my morning bowl of oats.
As a rule, I wait TWO HOURS after any and all meals before testing my blood sugar level and every blood sugar level diary that I’ve ever had always has a two hours after meal space to record that reading. I love your channel and thanks for it.
l made this right aftet l saw this vid..it is amazing! i add cinnamon to mine and several different seeds besides the chia....chill it overnight in fridge and it is so good ! thanks so much for a recipe l will use the rest of my life!
Hi Wynne 😁 how long did you heat yours for and how much cinnamon did you use? I’m keen to make this soon but when I saw your comment...when the weather starts to get cooler here in Australia 🇦🇺 I knew I’d want to heat mine too! 😂👍🏼
I was in ER couple days ago with blood sugar 277. Was nauseous, lightheaded etc... Returned to work today and started feeling sick I checked at was 244. Co worker gave me protein and I felt a lot better. I wasn’t told how or what to eat or what not to eat by doctor they just gave me meds so I’m gonna have to figure this out pretty much on my own. I’m going to be following you and I’m sure it will help me a lot. Thanks for the video!
This is the best thing I have seen as a pudding. It looks incredibly healthy. Will certainly try this for breakfast. You are great at testing your blood sugar levels and sharing the results. This is tremendously credible. Thank you for doing all this work for us.
I made this recipe but I used my blender to create a smoother texture and added sunflower seeds, cinnamon and blueberries on top and let it sit overnight. The results were fantastic! Thank you for sharing this recipe. 😊
I tried this recipe and it tastes great! My question is......is this a one portion recipe? Thank you for being such a great resource. I am learning what I can't eat. It helps to know what sabotages me numbers. I used to mindlessly eat.
Thank you for this recipe..Yes, I am one of those who's had enough of the bacon eggs.. Sausage n eggs breakfast.. This is one I'm adding to my approved recipe list.. Blessings to you!!
FYI - I recognize the packaging of the bag of Stevia you used and if you will check the label, you will see it has “maltodextrin” in it, which is a fancy word for “sugar“. Erythritol is a derivative of Stevia and will absolutely not affect your blood sugar level. Also, probably not a big deal, but there is some milk in heavy cream and milk contains lactose, which is also “sugar“.
I noticed the same thing, and made a post about it. The Great Value stevia packets has erythritol instead of the maltodextrin. Don't know why the granulated type uses maltodextrin, but I stay away from it and use the packets.
I made this but kind of over did it. My husband said there was too much going on lol. I didn't have heavy cream so i used coconut milk cream chia seeds hemp seeds stevia pumpkin seeds and topped it off with some raw cashews. Thankful for your channel and how you share about your fasting and prayer time!
I don't have diabetes but am looking at doing Keto and Mediterranean. Chia seeds and nuts sounds wonderful and I think I will try it in macadamia nut milk.
@@magiccheeseball skimmed milk is bad for at least three reasons: 1. The higher the fat content, the lower the sugar spike. Skimmed milk has more natural sugars because the fat has been removed, therefore is much higher in carbs than heavy whipping or double cream. Check for yourself. 2. High Fat Milk and Cream contain valuable fat soluble vitamins. If there is no fat, none of those vitamins can be absorbed by the body. 3. Cream is much more satiating than skimmed milk. Stop counting calories. Trust in high fat, medium protein, low carb and intermittent fasting. It’s more natural to our original caveman diet. Let your body adjust naturally. Trust Dennis and God! Good luck 👍
@@Jchathe but if you're using early man as a reference they didn't drink milk unless you were a baby. How would they get milk? They also didn't eat meat how would they get meat? Later on they started incorporating meat into their diet. Whole milk is unnatural because of the homogenizing process. Pasteurization isn't the greatest thing but it's illegal to sell raw milk and I wouldn't drink it anyway. I can't fast because I get low blood sugar. I don't have diabetes I guess everyone on here has diabetes so they're looking at diets in a different way than I am. I have to count calories because that's what makes you gain weight bringing in more calories than you use. I can't drink whole milk anyways it's too thick I guess I'm just going to stop drinking milk on my cereal and use crappy almond milk or soy milk even though it has garbage in it. I've been a vegetarian for almost 30 years and I want to start eating meat like salmon but no one will help me and tell me get started I'm afraid I won't be able to digest it I can't even find anything on Google. I don't want to be a vegetarian but I can't stand the thought of eating meat it's really gross eating a dead animal flesh. But salmon has so many good benefits I really want to eat it. I wish I could eat a hamburger or some bacon it smells so good but there's no way I'm going to do that haha
I don’t have diabetes, but in my 60s, weigh too much and have had a hard time taking weight off. Figured that is also insulin-related, and your videos have been a huge help. Feeling better and slowly but steadily shedding the burdensome extra.
Thank you for sharing. I tried but since I didn’t have almonds I replaced them with a handful of organic hemp. My after 1 hr reading was 102. Pretty good.
YA'NO!?....Since joining this wonderful world of Diabetes, I've been reading, searching, experimenting, and inquiring, about different ways to improve on my new, somewhat, restricted diet. It's coming along very well! There's light at the end of THIS tunnel! Your channel, has been a huge, help! ❤️ THANK YOU! 👍
If you heat this in the microwave, the chia will plump up faster. It actually reminds me of Cream of wheat. I haven't tried it with the nuts, yet. Sounds delicious!
Just heat the liquid, (stove-top, microwave, what ever your method) and you have hot cereal in just a couple min. I bring Chia seed when I travel overseas so i am not completely dependent on hotel or restaurant food. I just use hot water then.
I also eat chia pudding. And I've mixed different nuts and seeds, unsweetned coconut flakes, and fruit in plant milk for my cereal as well. I made it taste even better when I started mixing PB powder in the milk. I will try it your way and bring the two together. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Dennis, I love your "beat diabetes" videos. Here's an idea I got from a friend which you may like also and can do one for your next video. Just beat two eggs and warm up your waffle iron. Sprinkle a small amount of thin type shredded cheese (not cheddar - too strong) on the hot iron then pour in your eggs. Then sprinkle another small amount of cheese on top and close the lid for about 5 minutes. The cheese makes the "waffles" come out a little crispy just like a flour waffle. My friend adds a little milk to her waffles. I add a couple tbsps of Birch Benders Caveman Pancake mix to mine. You can add whatever toppings you wish like berries. We've been putting whipped peanut butter with sugar free jelly on top and sugar free syrup. Delicious! Try it.
Got some chia seeds today and tried out the cereal. Really liked it and will now add this to my meals. Need to get a few other ingredients to try out. Been a diabetic for many years with some successes and many failures. In April my A1c was about 8.1 and the doctor said to reduce the carbs. Reduce I did! Started making major changes to my diet, learned about very low carb and cryogenic diets and put into practice. In early July went back to the doctor, had lost about 20 pounds and the A1c was 5.3!
I've added chia (pronounced as Ch'EYE where I live) to all sorts of cooking and shakes for a couple of years now. I wish my mom would take note of your video's, she had a toe come off when the nurse changed her leg/foot dressing the other day and has been advised to have her leg off by the hospital consultant. I hope to never have diabetes and great videos like this really help so many people live a better life.
Sorry for your mom, glad you are taking steps to avoid going down that path - just as I did (my mom was diabetic and had both legs amputated before she died).
I have made chia seed pudding similar to this for quite some time. I do it a little differently. I mix the "milk" (I usually use unsweetened macadamia nut milk), and the chia seeds and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning/noon I add the nuts and seeds and I usually include a bit of unsweetened coconut flakes. Making it this way, the nuts and seeds don't become so mushy but the chia "pudding" has more than enough time to become thick. A dusting of either cocoa powder or cinnamon can add a nice addition to the flavor. I also like to keep a bag dehydrated blueberries in the cupboard so I always have some handy even when I am out of fresh blueberries.
I love chia! I make my own yogurt which is lower in carbs. Chia seeds in yogurt with blueberries is yummy. I will sometimes add a spoonful of cocoa for a dessert to my yogurt and chia seeds. Chia seeds in nut milks has a very good mouth feel.
I gave up store cereals after I had read Dr. David Perlman's book, "The Grain Brain". And I love cereal, so I can't wait to try this. It looks fabulous! Even though I am diabetic, over time I've lost 65 Lbs.
A WEAPON FOR MY ARSENAL OF AMMUNITION TO FIGHT THE GOOD Fight. I am sick of egg and bacon for breakfast too. I hadn't known about chia seeds before but they are high in omega 3 ie anti inflammatory. Diabetes caused by inflammation. Lots of protein too and roughage. Thank you Mr P.
Yes sir! Another great video, I'm diabetic and grateful to GOD for it. With the info gleaned from my blood glucose, and friends like you; I've lost 150 lbs.

Right now, there seems to be a shortage of heavy cream
I put this together the night before, cover with a lid and refrigerate overnight.
Mmm you made overnight chia cereal yum!!
It reminds me of tapioca pudding, which I love. Could probably add vanilla to taste more like pudding, and let it sit overnight.
I'm doing overnight. In the startof my keto journey I made a lot of over night chia pudding but never as pumped up as this recipe.

@@MegaLolipop81 simply soak your seeds and nuts overnight
I believe that baking the hemp hearts will destroy their nutrients. I have them and the bag says to avoid high temps like baking, etc.
Delicious
I remember when Chia was the rage, because it made you feel full. This is a great way to "Dress it up," and we get to enjoy something different. *Thanks.* 👍🏼
You had me at “ are you tired of...”. Can’t wait to try this. Thanks 😊
Hope you enjoy
I’ve been watching your videos for some time now and although I’m not diabetic, since watching my carbohydrates and sugar intake very strictly it’s really helped my health and my training and body composition has seriously changed for the better.
I think humans are not designed for carbohydrates anyway,I only take carbohydrates after lifting weights is that ok?
You are definitely changing and saving lifes may God Bless you.
I hope you see this message and reply,
You are such an intelligent kind man.
He recommended against waiting that long to test because the spikes happen a lot sooner. And he's right, it does.
dookiepuddle
Thanks, I’ll test sooner than two hours and see how that works for me. Thanks again.
I find myself excited to watch your videos.
You have done so much for my health and education on the subject of sugar.
Thank you for all you do!
Dennis we all thank GOD for you and all the millions you have helped!
l made this right aftet l saw this vid..it is amazing! i add cinnamon to mine and several different seeds besides the chia....chill it overnight in fridge and it is so good ! thanks so much for a recipe l will use the rest of my life!
Sounds great!
I heated it in the micro, added cinnamon and a few drops of vanilla. Voila! A very cozy, warming breakfast!
Hi Wynne 😁 how long did you heat yours for and how much cinnamon did you use? I’m keen to make this soon but when I saw your comment...when the weather starts to get cooler here in Australia 🇦🇺 I knew I’d want to heat mine too! 😂👍🏼
If you want to eat healthy avoid microwave. Please research about it.
@@MsHazza73 I'd heat it on the stove in a sauce pan, and add a teaspoon of cinnamon!
You will overcome!
This is where I think I started. Hospital and was told oh well. Here is meds and you have diabetes.
This is the best thing I have seen as a pudding. It looks incredibly healthy. Will certainly try this for breakfast. You are great at testing your blood sugar levels and sharing the results. This is tremendously credible. Thank you for doing all this work for us.
I, too, miss cereal so much.
I will definitely try this. THANKS !!
This is very yummy I make it the night before because I work early at 4 am.
I will try this chia cereal as I crave for little sweet stuff sometimes. Great job. Thanks👍
Hope you enjoy
Great idea and looks delicious - can't wait to try it. Thanks for the info Dennis and please keep up the great work, very much appreciated!
I made this recipe but I used my blender to create a smoother texture and added sunflower seeds, cinnamon and blueberries on top and let it sit overnight. The results were fantastic! Thank you for sharing this recipe. 😊
Sounds great!
thank you...thank you...I've enjoyed this before but didn't realize how diabetic friendly it was
I tried this recipe and it tastes great! My question is......is this a one portion recipe? Thank you for being such a great resource. I am learning what I can't eat. It helps to know what sabotages me numbers. I used to mindlessly eat.
Looks so good, I asked my husband to buy me all the ingredients, making it later.
I use slice almonds and really the best breakfast. Thanks for find this delicious 😋. You should us that we can eat good things. God bless you.
I'm diabetic and definitely going to try this!! Looks yummy!!
Me to
Me too as well
I feel so blessed I’ve never cared for food combos. I like plain food. This is great! Reminds me of tapioca, just cream and fake sugar.
Thank you for this recipe..Yes, I am one of those who's had enough of the bacon eggs.. Sausage n eggs breakfast.. This is one I'm adding to my approved recipe list.. Blessings to you!!
Me too!
what about custard made with some stevia or xylitol? "sweet" eggs similar to pudding
paulina ochoa Cute pic! 🙂

My dad likes salmon and eggs but you need to do physical work afterwards to burn off the calories .
I did the same.yes i am so happy to see my sugar levels not spiked much .so i to started this in my life. Thanks for sharing
Wonderful!
I put chia seeds in Almond milk with Almond extract, and sweetener makes a real nice pudding.
Your videos are by far my favorite!
Since making that video I have cut down how much milk I use to make it a more manageable size.
This is worth going for, thanks and God bless!!!
I don't have diabetes but am looking at doing Keto and Mediterranean. Chia seeds and nuts sounds wonderful and I think I will try it in macadamia nut milk.
Oh Man I love Chia seed pudding....It's so tasty and the texture is awesome as well....Some times I will use coconut milk....So So Yummy
I’ve never had Chia Seeds Thank You for the information I can’t wait to try them!
Hope you enjoy
Very interesting approach doing heavy whipping cream and water.
Cream is expensive
Milk has carbs
Watered down cream might be the best solution
Dosnt whip cream have a lot of sugar? I love whip cream! I drink only skim milk though is that bad?
@@magiccheeseball skimmed milk is bad for at least three reasons:
You can do it!
Thank you for sharing. I tried but since I didn’t have almonds I replaced them with a handful of organic hemp. My after 1 hr reading was 102. Pretty good.
Great!
Great to hear! God bless you.
If you heat this in the microwave, the chia will plump up faster. It actually reminds me of Cream of wheat. I haven't tried it with the nuts, yet. Sounds delicious!
Omg i love cream of wheat but i have to stop eating it thank you for sharing this alternative
why would you put anything in the micowave it destroys all the nutrition ?
Might want to check out the health results of using a microwave.
Just heat the liquid, (stove-top, microwave, what ever your method) and you have hot cereal in just a couple min. I bring Chia seed when I travel overseas so i am not completely dependent on hotel or restaurant food. I just use hot water then.
Neil deGrasse Tyson disprove the microwave SoCal Legend Penny explains it online doesn't hurt the food at all another myth
I also eat chia pudding. And I've mixed different nuts and seeds, unsweetned coconut flakes, and fruit in plant milk for my cereal as well. I made it taste even better when I started mixing PB powder in the milk. I will try it your way and bring the two together. Thanks for sharing.
Be careful with peanut butter powder because it has a lot of sugar and carbs
Thank you so much for this valuable information. God bless you.
Thank you for this great breakfast idea. I'm having it tomorrow morning!
Hope you like it!
Just been given some chia seeds, I’ll use evaporated milk instead, add vanilla and maybe some cinnamon!
Thanks for the recipe.
Evaporated milk is high carb.
Heavy Cream is very low carb.
I just did this. Added hemp seeds. Was fantastic!! Thank you so much.
Wonderful!
Delicious! Try it.
I receive that prayer.. thank you
Got some chia seeds today and tried out the cereal.
Wow! What a great success story! So happy for you!
Wonderful
Be careful your A1C doesn’t get too low, that can be as bad as high.
cryogenic? did you mean ‘ketogenic’?
You must be doing Keto because that reverses the disease.
This would work for me! I use chia seeds in my cream of wheat & oatmeal.
I've tried this cereal, it's good. Blackstrap molasses is a good sweetener for it, its nutritious and relatively low glycemic index.
I've seen videos about black strap molasses reversing gray hair. 🤔Now knowing it's low glycemic I feel better about trying it.
Thanks for the tips!
If you add cocoa it’s like a mid afternoon chocolate treat.
Fun fact- cashews are actually a fruit - that’s why they have higher sugars
wrong cashews are a seed google it and see
The best chia pudding/cereal I have tried thus far. The consistency is perfect!!! Thanks🤗
Great to hear!
You could put this all in a blender to make a smoothie. Yum.
Oh thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been looking for a porridge substitute for months. I'm going to try this out!
I have made this but with almond milk and hemp hearts and kerry gold butter. it is unbelievable
Would you please post your recipe? That sounds really good.
Well done my friend, a great new breakfast meal or anytime snack for us diabetics .. thank you Dennis ..
Gotta love chia seed pudding, so many ingredients can be added to make it even more delicious!
I gave up store cereals after I had read Dr. David Perlman's book, "The Grain Brain". And I love cereal, so I can't wait to try this. It looks
fabulous! Even though I am diabetic, over time I've lost 65 Lbs.
Sliced Almonds are sorta cereal flake like. So they provide that texture of a corn or bran flake.
Good idea.

Yup I use those and also flakes unsweetened coconut! I use Swerve instead of stevia and often throw is in flax seed meal too, just to add some bulk
Sliced almonds are really good in oatmeal too.
Not even close but good suggestion lol
A WEAPON FOR MY ARSENAL OF AMMUNITION TO FIGHT THE GOOD Fight. I am sick of egg and bacon for breakfast too. I hadn't known about chia seeds before but they are high in omega 3 ie anti inflammatory. Diabetes caused by inflammation. Lots of protein too and roughage. Thank you Mr P.
Are you using whole almonds? I would think this recipe would be great with the shaved almond flakes from the baking aisle.
Yes, and easier on my teeth. 👍🏻
Gamechanger! Looks delicious!
