Kuro really need to up their advertising tactics for these. It would be a shame if this doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

@@blackwolf4766 yeah pgr issue was it advertised alot in china but only china didnnt get much global advertising since global came much later but with wuthering waves it appears they aim for global release from the get go
Yeah that's the thing, I haven't seen much of PGR anywhere unless I specifically searched for it. Which is kinda sad if you think about it, considering that PGR is such a hidden gem.

@@XunZich09 PGR collabed with nijisanji project. a group of famous 2d vtubers ever since fake ascencion and based from current tweets and post from their main Social media pages, there has been a lot of demands for a collab with pgr and bilibili has been helping in advertising a lot pf pgr's successes from cn server to global.
The sfx, vfx all have improved so much. Astonishing. Can't wait to try this myself 😂

I almost cry when Narwhal showed up at the end of this TGS promotion video, I know they will give us some sort of fanservice from pgr no matter what, could be someone similiar to Lucia or Liv or they will just port the whole GR squad to WW world but I didnt expect it to be another Narhwal and whats more Ji Yan's pose is similiar to the illustration of when Alpha found Derek. The only reason why I almost teared up is because knowing back then the history of PGR on their first day release was rough for both CN & GLB but then Frozen Darkness patch (the story with Narhwal on it) saved Kuro back to the right track and become a remarkable patch on PGR history. Also I believe most veteran PGR players are also coming from that one video Alpha vs Rosetta.
Again, thank you for your hardwork even after Bianca, Bambinatta, and Lee patches you guys still able to excite us with this update. Love you Kuro Games! Looking forward to Wuthering Waves!
a fun easter egg would be a silhouette of (Forgive me I forgot the ships name) the Narwhal looking ship thing from PGR in the distance making howling sound from time to time.

Yes is a perfect and wonderful reference of how alpha was going after Derek from punishing gray raven and now this will also be way of how we get see again of the action but this with different characters which is Ji Yan is going after the magical narwhal

Absolutely adore the combat: the perfect dodges, what seems to be a parry attack, and even a weakpoint/stabbing mechanic, very reminiscent of Infinity Blade. Ik its VERY early in development but Wuthering Waves is shaping up to be my most anticipated game in recent times ngl

Yeah no wonder kurogame has always been nicknamed, the dark horse of the gacha game. Its now time for skill-based gacha games to take over the market once more
What I like about kurogame is that they have the same mindset of hideaki itsuno; passion and unconditional love for the game and giving the players what they need that can help in the increase of sales for the company. Basically a healthy company to playerbase relationship.

I hope they keep vibes of the surrounding atmosphere as is and don't go for a major overhaul as some people complaining it being too dead, I really like this post apocalyptic setting and usage of dark color palettes.

Game just globally released and I decided to come back to these old videos. Damn, time really just flew by so fast and I can notice a lot of things that have changed.

One of the things I’m loving about this game is that we actually get to SEE the mc put in the work on the boss. They’re just running everyone’s fade lmao
The combat looks so fluid! Every single one of the enemy's attacks got amazing momentum and weight behind it, like that triple dash it does at 4:10. Once it's polished, boy it'll be epic!
Really great showcase on the gameplay and showing a variety of styles. I am just speculating, but looks like you can hit certain weakpoints on bosses kind of like Monster Hunter. Really like the concept either way. Looking forward to more on this game.
About that weakpoint thing, it might be possible. The devs have already experimented on that mechanic with their other game, Punishing: Gray Raven. For us PGR global players, we have a boss which you can immobilize for a quick damage window by repeatedly hitting the wings on her back.

i think you mean is parry, when your character hit enemy's attack, it's also a combat feature in pgr their previous game and when you do it it makes the enemy stop moving for a while
im actually amazed how Kuro Games start from PGR till now has open world games that insanely good
they actually start from battlefield ponytail, which is orginally from 2016, before pgr. Trust me, you don't even realized that game was made by Kuro.

Yes that's the first thing I saw about this game, the color panel is darker than the other games like that.
I'm glad they polished the graphics. It looks beautiful and plays beautifully as expected from Kuro Games, but there's still some open world aspects that we need to be worried about. How well does exploration go, how it keeps the player's retention as well as satisfaction. I'm very looking forward how they handle gacha too, hopefully be as good as PGR's. Overall its very hype to me
Yeah. At first glance the bosses doesn't seem that tough for some people but just like pgr ofc the bosses will be easy at first but as the game progress damn the boss becomes more fun. Ofc even when its released im sure there'll be problems here and there so i want to see how they'll handle it given their reputation of being connected with the community. Hope all this success doesn't go into their heads like most companies.

If they capitulate what made Elden ring open world great, this combat system and boss fight dynamics and the way they put up PGR gacha system. I will surely hope this becomes Kuro's Big Break.
@@megatbasyarullah4859 one problem I see is that the testers that did this video were too good, basically stun locked the bossed, turtle seems easy but I hear it has more moves and we didn't see that here

still looks casual tbh. Attack patterns are easy to predict,attacks can be expected,long dodge gauge,no character cd and based from other gameplays enemies hit small dmg like any other open world game. Would be fun if they take 'ACTION RPG' more seriously like pgr

I knew i'd be hyped for this game but it is quickly become my most anticipated title.
Fun, fast paced and fluid movement will always be one of my favorite things about action games. One thing I really hate is when games force me to watch my character slowly walk or run across a field for what feels like weeks, worse yet, when I'm forced to climb somewhere high up all the time and have to be very careful and slow because of stamina. That stuff is just boring and wastes my time, just make it fast paced. This looks pretty damn good especially in that regard already.
Well the game has featured you that you don't consume stamina when running, but you consume stamina fron gliding, and wall run (yeah not climbing, although we were also can do that). And there is also Ghost Rider boss that we can catch so we can travel using the boss's skill
I agree i hate games that is like playing an open world sandbox game despite claiming it as an arpg. You can wall run in this game both vertically and horizontally. Plus it have the hook thing to swing and do aerial moves. It minimize the hassle for exploration but focuses on a fun and challenging combat
the fact that they added something from pgr at the end "Frozen Darkness" aahhh i just can't, im excited!!!
After following the game for a while now. I can see the improvements made in the combat and lighting. It's shaping up to turn out very well! I'm looking forward to seeing more! 🥰
I'm really excited about this game, and I hope the PC Version comes out great: unlocked FPS, good gamepad support, FOV Slider, Ultrawide support, all that good stuff.

That purple enemy with wings reminds me of Gabriel from PGR. Combat in PGR is really fun, I'm looking forward to play this in PC

Tienen PGR su juego actual de ejemplo xd por eso se espera algo más pulido ToF era muy distinto desde un inicio quizás nadie lo hubiera jugado con ese estilo que tenía. Kuro games ya tiene su estilo desarrollado, historia buena y banda sonora característica.
well tof got rushed, i dont think kuro has that issue, also kuro seems to be safe as a not scum greedy company (yet), people are pretty skeptical of gachas so as long as they don't only care about an extra penny they'll be fine

Nah, This is more like Elden Ring: Mobile Edition than harder Genshin, considering that WW combat system and difficulty resembled the former more than the later.
As a PGR player one thing I love about it except for its good quality and combat skills is the smoothness of the game even in a 3gb ram. I hope the developers do the same thing with Wuthering Waves can't wait to play this game

Please please please be a good game. I really want to quit Genshin so bad because they obviously don't give a crap about their endgame players, but they just have no competitor out there that's good enough to fill the void if I do decide to quit.
Imagine not expanding endgame content just to protect the fragile heart of a group of people because apparently combat gives them anxiety
im quite worried with kurogame decision of making WW more casual than PGR to attract more players.
but after seeing the remake of second boss which A LOT more aggresive than the pre alpha one, i had my hope.
i too wanted them to go hard as they can just like PGR, which gives actual purpose to the combat that they've build.
im guessing "unlimited" dodge is the casual part that they talked about, but if somehow they can balance it with insane bosses and hard gamemode, then im fine by it.

@@adityamahendra6196 I mean, PGR is also very casual if you don't engage in the optional hard content. Both casual and hardcore players can co-exist if Kuro just adds hard game modes for hardcore gamers while casuals can enjoy the story of the game and other events that are more casual oriented. Babel and Normann are completely optional in PGR and you can even set the difficulty for those yourself, not forced to get the hardest most malding combinations of enemies lmao.

kuro did it right with babel and norman, since they made sure the main or most reward can be achieve for both type of players, while advancing into harder area gives medal to flex.
