Morning sunlight helps with all skin issues. Sunrise especially. In your eyes no sunglasses or contacts. No gd sunscreen! Reversing vitiligo. A work in progress in conjunction with carnivore/keto. Have recently switched to Lion D, because pigment was coming back and then receding again. I was still eating a small amount of macadamia nuts, small amount of weak coffee with cream, occasional raw cheese and fruit. Cut it all out until I see results. Note: I already feel great after two weeks barring the 3 days of migraine from stopping coffee.

The cream doesn't rise quickly on goat milk, the way it does on cow milk. You can get the cream off, most easily if you have a cream separator, though it will rise on milk in the frig eventually (home-grown, not homogenized from the store). But it takes several days, where cow cream rises to the top of the milk overnight. Goat butter is also always white, though it actually does contain as much vitamin A as cow milk. It's just that their cream is always white, rather then turning yellow when they are eating green grass, like cow cream does. Other than that, goat butter tastes fine.

I gave up coffee for 30 days last October. Didn't notice any difference, so I added it back and didn't notice any change. Dr. Berry had the same experience. I think it's funny that Dr. Chaffee thinks that people drink coffee for the caffeine. I drink coffee because I like the taste. I don't get anything from the caffeine.

I give up coffee cold turkey every time I get pregnant, six times now, and never noticed any issues. After about the fourth pregnancy I realized I didn't drink the coffee for the caffeine, but for the routine. Making my coffee, sitting and drinking it in a quiet space before the kids all get up is just how I start my day. So I gave up coffee and switched it for a LMNT chocolate drink in the morning. 😊

I only drink decaf. Caffeinated coffee makes me feel sick for the rest of the day. I'm not a big coffee drinker, though -- we only have it once or twice a week. Have tea about as often, and the rest of the time it's plain water, or water with a little lemon powder in it. (And I always add lite salt, for electrolytes, to whatever we are drinking.)

I'm a Christian (Catholic), and I see no issues with carnivore, not before reading the Bible in detail, and not after (however, do mind that different branches of Christianity have different Bibles, e.g. with some parts removed, and that my understanding of the Bible is imperfect, as is anyone's probably). Below are many reasons why I think it's fine to eat meat as far as this religion goes.
    1. In Genesis, when God created animals, he gave them to humans to rule over along with the land. Which means we have the right to do whatever we want with them, including eating them. HOWEVER, if you abuse animals for no reason, it's obviously a bad thing.
    2. I heard one guy say that a butcher is a big sinner because he massacres animals (by the way, he didn't respond to any of my counterpoints - I made this list just now by expanding on what I said to him back then). However, the Old Testament is full of priests sacrificing animals to God, and animal sacrifice was a big part of the Old Testament rites, so by that logic, not only would those priests be damned, but also the people who brought animals to be sacrificed to God.
    3. Just ask a farmer how many animals (pests) he has to kill or have killed so that they don't eat his crops. A good example you can see here on YT is "mink man" as he records using dogs and minks to hunt rats that nest on farms (he's paid to do this as a pest control pro). Just watch his dogs hunt up to several hundred rats at a time. So if we apply the faulty logic from point 2., that would mean the farmers and people who kill pests are sinners too just because they want to make enough food for people to eat, and you're probably a sinner too for eating vege "made by killing animals." Would God make it a sin to just produce food? Sounds like nonsense to me.
    4. Not just pests, but also many animals are killed or displaced when farming. This includes various birds (remember that many birds nest on the ground, just imagine a harvesting machine rolling over the nest), rodents, frogs, lizards, snakes, and even larger mammals.
    5. Back to the Bible, some animals were forbidden to eat in the Old Testament and are still forbidden to eat for Jews (pig, I think, and some others). Which means other animals were fine, or the Bible would just say not to eat any animals.
    6. Back to the Bible again, check out Peter's vision in the New Testament, in which God showed him all animals and told him to eat anything he wants. Which means it's fine to eat animals in general too.
    7. In Epistles, one of the apostles (I don't remember which, maybe Peter or Paul) talks about vegans shaming others for eating meat and other people criticizing vegans for not eating meat (or something like that). And he said not to judge or criticize (I can't remember the exact word lol) another person based on what they're eating. If eating meat was bad, he could've just said so.
    8. A yet better Bible example. Jesus multiplied bread and fish in a miracle so that everyone had enough to eat. Fish are animals, meat (I really don't get why some people think it's wrong to eat meat and fine to eat fish, as some fish are fairly intelligent).
Overall, I think it's 100% fine as long as you're grateful to God for meat that you eat, don't waste food unnecessarily, and don't overeat meat for pleasure (if that's even possible on carnivore lol) as in the sin gluttony.
If you produce meat, just make sure to treat the animals well, keep them in good conditions, and avoid inflicting on them any unnecessary pain (like some farmers do apparently). If you buy meat, make sure to buy from food producers that abide by such rules if you can, or at least avoid buying meat from people who you know mistreat animals.
    That's my take.

In the Bible, Adam and Eve were told they could eat from the "TREES" (except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil). Food from Trees is fruit and nuts (not plants). Then, after they sinned, one of the curses/consequences is found in Gen. 3:18 where it says you will now have to till the ground full of thorns and thistles and have to eat plants of the field (veggies!). Eating meat would have started after the fall too as death entered the world and I believe our biological needs changed since God couldn't let all animals overpopulate so they now ate each other and we could eat them (and needed to I think to get the proper nutrients). All this to say I think a Biblical diet would include animal products and perhaps for those who can handle them, fruit and tree nuts.

I've stumbled upon your channel and have found the information you provide to be fascinating. I've heard about the carnivore diet for quite some time but I was hesitant about jumping on a trending ideology without using some caution. I generally approach everything this way. I like to observe first and then proceed.
Over the last couple of years I've noticed that my peripheral neuropathy has become so much worse. I've been told that there isn't a cure and they don't have an explanation as to why I have developed it in the first place. I'm a singer and a performer and so this condition effects my quality of life. I notice that I cannot do extended events anymore without suffering for it later.
My question is obviously "Would my condition benefit from this diet"?
I'm ready to jump in and experiment after hearing others' results of health conditions being cleared.

A high level if Cortisol hass an antiinflamational effect. That might be the number one reason, why the Carnivore Diet is so effective and has so manny positive health benefits. But there are also downsides to a high cortisol level. Cortisol is a stress hormone. It can cause massive hairloss (in my case), sleep problems, decrease of metabolism (after an initial increase), and for people with a sick adrenal gland it can do worse. Conventional advice is reduce the fat intake but it’s hard to find anyone here who would understand carnivore let alone accept it as a possible solution. • @anthonychaffeemd
      @anthonychaffeemd  3 месяца назад +1

Hello! No generally I find that people optimize in either direction, as it's typically a dysfunction of how we metabolize certain nutrients and cell lines, as opposed to just having too much of a substrate such as iron that makes us make too much hemoglobin, or build up too much iron in our bodies. You can have a deficiency and become anemic certainly, but when you have enough of something we tend to filter out what we need and eliminate the rest. Well that is a much more uncommon disorder that you have, I've seen very similar things improve on a carnivore diet because the overall arching physiology of the individual improves. Worst case scenario you improve in a thousand other ways and still need to give blood, which is very helpful for the medical system in any case. But I think it much more likely that it would improve your situation and not exacerbate it.

    • @MyYouTube2022

@@anthonychaffeemd I appreciate your answer very much! It is my husband and this condition is additional to hypertension, hyperlipidemia, 3 stents in heart arteries after a stroke, fatty liver and advanced parkinsons disease. Despite of strict keto diet for more than 4 months cannot raise his ketones enough to see if any benefits for his PD can be expected from a diet. He is willing to try carnivor, but sometimes I am no longer sure this is advisable without a doctors support. His neurologist is not very cooperative in metabolic approach, it is also difficult to get blood tests to follow his condition. Unfortunately we are literally let alone with RUclips podcasts. Without a keto diet I could surely add diabetes to a list above very soon. Now at least his BG is under control. His cardiologist demanded the HB put under control an he waited 3 years for the first phlebotomy. But I like your worst case scenario very much .and will go after it. Thanks once again!

Some ppl can eat pork. Not ppl with autoimmune issues. Pigs aren’t a ruminant animal and have only 1 stomach chamber. They also don’t fully digest and remove toxins from the body therefore it can be found in the meat. If you fully cook it, should be ok. But red meat or ruminate animals have more nutrients & are a cleaner meat.

If you're not sensitive to many foods like a lot of the viewers are here, pork is great. The nutritional profile of pork is very solid, and contains the most B1 of all animal meats. Unlike beef and lamb, 95% of pork are stall raised so the fact you're eating them wild is great.

WE LOVE IT for the taste.😁 Once you've been a coffee drinker for years and years, the caffeine doesn't even have that much of an effect on you. My sister and I used to drink coffee in our pajamas before bed just because its so warm and yummy and we'd go right to sleep. Then, we'd drink a cup in the morning at work, and it still tastes good but it actually gives that "wakeup" feeling that coffee is known for. We always laugh and say, "Our coffee does what we want it to do. At night, we want it to put us to sleep. In the morning, we want it to wake us up, and it always obeys."😄 I'm in my 40's, my sister is in her 50's, and we both stopped using sweetener in our coffee at least ten years ago. We literally only drink it for the taste. Its definitely not "disgusting." We still love you and all of your work, though, Dr. Chaffee.💛🙏 I'm about 99% carnivore and my sister is keto-carnivore. Dear Dr. Chaffee, can you help please..... I did carnivore diet for 9 months last year but had to stop as I was getting a lot of pain in guts. I think I was having problems digesting all the protein. I tried to get help from my GP but apparently I was speaking an alien language and just got a shoulder shrug😢....I was so disappointed as I felt better (I'm 70yr old female) .....I suspected I needed hcl plus digestive enzymes for both fat and protein.....could you please recommend a brand......thanks❤

If you suffer from knee osteoarthritis you will need to fix the root csuses.
      1. Tailgate swings 10 min a few times a day (to calm down, nourish and strengthen the existing cartilage
      2. Massage your thighs to relieve pressure
      3. Strenghten your glutes
Check out El Paso manual on RUclips Playlist on knee OA.

My friend has a thyroid fluctuating from hypo to hyper. She got better on carnivore, but she's nursing her baby and her milk is reduced when she's full carnivore, plus she gains weight for some reason. What should she do?

    • @talialavor8411
      @talialavor8411 4 месяца назад

Maybe she's not getting an insulin spike from enough protein with fat?? DR Kay suggests ways to calculate this but states that you need enough protein mixed with fat to stimulate insulin to ensure electrolytes are qell absorbed I'm the kidney, that blood sugar doesn't start to go up and that thyroid function is maintained. With nursing there's a good chance that she need way more protein and fat. Especially fat.

Carnivore diet is unknown to science. I imagine science fiction movie scenes like nano-submarines, advanced technology human or alien to observe in real what plant or animal food product is swallowed from mouth to bottom. Alien civilisations from the past have puzzled mankind. If this carnivore is from an advanced human or alien civilization then we are dealing with something that is not yet discovered. Love scifi movies and play videogames at age 60 while recovering from heart failure, still single in this non-carnivore community. Keeping carnivore a secret to avoid ridicule from family members

There is goat butter. The cream doesn't separate out of goat milk the way it does with cow milk--it's naturally homogenized. So goat milk has to be mechanically separated to get the cream. But people do it and it's yummy.
