Yeah, and they just look for iphone features on android without finding better alternatives. I'd pick app drawer over typing and searching for an app any day.
This guy complained about so many misalanoues things it's crazy. As someone who used the iPhone for 10+ years, I can easily say upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra was the best choice I could have ever made when it comes to buying a phone. The pros drastically outweigh the cons and 99.9% of youtubers will vouch for that statement.
All of his videos that talk about switching to Android are like this. I feel like he just does this to troll and annoy Android users. It’s very clear that he’s extremely biased and an Apple fanboy. Every complaint he had, I also had except when trying to switch to an iPhone 15 pro. I spent several weeks with it before switching back to Android. What did I learn? Both platforms have their own problems and I don't need a new phone. 😂
I agree... I have had every single Google Pixel phone before my 13 Por Max and now my Natural Titanium 15 pro. I absolutely love iOS. I still like Android, but the battery life of most android phones, especially Pixels, compared to iPhone was really bad for me.
@@kevincherian8190 is video watching experience better than Samsung on iPhone? I mean that's what most people do, most people watch videos over taking them. And if I want the best camera for videos, I'll just get a real camera not a phone.

It sounds like you don’t know HOW to use the phone, because all those “problems” doesn’t happen with most people, we find stuff and do stuff pretty easily on Android phones. Haha
I agree. I recently purchased iPhone for the first time after only using android for 20 or so years. I found there is a lot to be missed by making the switch to apple. Android is so customizable but I’ll give apple a fair try. We’ll see what happens.
Almost more than half of this video was negatives that were a result of either his skill issue, nitpicks that are caused by other tech failing to work well and impacting the S24 Ultra's performance and also more of habits that are heavily centered around the Apple ecosystem. There are real negatives here but most of the ones he listed were not really issues of the phone but issues of other things that ended up limiting the phone and also him not really knowing how to use it.. maybe cause of the expectation for some functions to work like they do on iOS even though it's not an iPhone. That's just what I gathered from this review. But overall.. I love how this review was less technical and more of a day in the life using the phone. It's one of the videos that showed better than anything that always buy a phone that you can best integrate into your daily habits and feel most at ease while using its OS. Looking at the reviewer's daily habits and home tech ecosystem. I'd say even if he ends up loving the S24 Ultra more than an iPhone. He should stick to an iPhone cause it'll just work better with his ecosystem when it comes to day to day use.
With circle to search. You don't need to take a picture before hand if it's something that's in your surroundings. Just going into the camera app and having that item in view of the camera. You can still circle it and search. It just needs to appear on your screen. It doesn't have to be in a picture format.
I received the Vivid Mode update today on the S24 Ultra. I have the unlocked version with a Verizon SIM card. I must say it fixed all the issues that people complained about with the screen. In fact, in my opinion, it's a little too vibrant, but I think some people will like the slider bar that allows you to customize three levels of vibrance. It's quite nice! P.S. I'm just coming from the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I don't regret leaving iOS; it got boring.
I have the opposite problem, When I switch from my android to IOS is really frustrating everything is so locked out, everything is too simple its feels like I'm using an old feature phone but just more powerfull
Some of the frustrating things you mentioned comes from you being too used to how iphone works. For example you can download your bank statement and go to the file manager app and share directly from there with native share menu, don't even need to open it. But you are operating it like an iphone so you don't even think of the file manager. This is just one example but some other things you pointed out are valid, not all tho. Lock screen edit mode can be turned off so you can use fingerprint worry free btw
I got rid of my 15 pro max for the s24 ultra and I couldn't be happier honestly. Iphone is finished. Apple treat you like a boy. Like you are renting there products and don't own it. Samsung treat you like a man. Do what you want with it. Love it.
That's a great way to put it! You definitely feel like you're the one in charge when using an Android device, whereas Apple wants you to do things their way or the highway.
Watching iPhone/ Samsung and other tech reviews just makes me realize how slaves we all are to new technology. All the “complaints” and “comparisons” we all have that makes us extremely anxious and annoyed are awfully trivial. We keep looking for the newer, faster, better etc, when have we allowed ourselves to be disappointed about a tech’s 0.0005s refresh rate? We have allowed our attention span and patience shortened massively. Every year these tech companies roll out its latest, newest, fastest and best ever devices, and we’re still not happy.
Honestly, I just follow up on the latest from Samsung and apple. Not really interested in either. I'm a gamer and Im looking for a phone that suits my needs. So redmagic for me as I feel at home with the red magic 7
What he secretly meant was VOIP, it is clearer than HD calls (which is a carrier thing since most phones support it) Google Meet is the parallel to facetime on android
A lot of the issues you complained about regarding things are slow are easily solved by enabling developer options and then either turning off or speeding up animations. They designed it that way to look nice.
What I can say is it's really difficult to switch from iOS to Android because Android is so advanced comparing to iOS which makes you dumb because your benchmark ofcourse is iOS... most of the things said in this video is actually not a problem if properly used and totally not relate on how iOS works because Android has its own manner of application that you just need to learn or find out (which is really difficult if you got overly used to iOS).. Me being a Samsung user who occasionally switches and uses iOS, I actually can't find it difficult switching between OS because my standard is OneUI which is so advance that i find switching to iOS not that complicated...
As someone who's always had Android/Windows stuff and "recently" (with the iPhone 13 pro) moved to iOS, and came back to Android with the Galaxy Tab S9 (after having for a while an Apple tablet), I agree with everything you said about all the software bugs. Some days it works fine and am amazed with the screen and unfortunately most of the time the tablet is driving me crazy. I did play around with all of the settings but it's just not quite right.
I was an iPhone user that switched to a Z Fold 5 for about 6 months and just switched back to an iPhone again... I got the same notification sound problem as you! Sometimes I was able save the day by uninstalling and reinstalling an app, but in some cases I had to download the app notification sound manually just like you did. Happy to see that I wasn't alone!!
One thing I've learned about Android is that you'll go from "In Android, you cannot do......." to "Oh, I didn't know, my bad" pretty quickly. As someone has mentioned in another comment, our habits are our problems, not the drawbacks of a product😅
to use Android you have to forget about Apple, apparently you can't, that's why you still want Samsung to do everything the same as the iPhone. It's like moving from a Bentley to a Maybach. These two cars are similar but very different, until you understand this, your transfers make no sense.
On andriod if you know how you can set it up to have it prompt you to open a garage door or do anything for that matter like I have mine set to put the house in arriving home mode. IE turn on lights open garage door when arriving make sure AC/Heat is set. Problem is you have to know how to do it. Also if you know what you're doing you can just have it open the garage door without doing anything. It will just do it when you arrive home. Iphone users like it all built in but the issue with that is you're extremely limited in what it can do. I have my phone setup to go to silent mode everytime at a movie theater or library then change when I leave. I also have my alarm clock set to my listen to text message in case my kids get a snow day all alarms including my kids alarms get canceled or delayed depending on the text. Andriod has so many features and advanced apps just most users never come close to mastering it. Like most truck drivers never go off road. Don't say it can't be done just say it isn't built in and you're not experienced enough to figure it out.
iPhone users can not comprehend such settings, it doesn't exist in their realm hence it will never be done by an iPhone user reviewing an android device.
5:50 I use the option where face unlock skips the lockscreen when it sees me, I know some people don't like it but it aleviates this issue. The phone usually unlocks before I can even put my finger down!
True. To use Face unlock, just click the power button it unlocks via face unlock. Set it first to skip swipe to unlock when using face unlock. Fingerprint unlock, even when screen is at AOD just works. 1st ever person i heard having trouble using both face unlock and fingerprint 😅 Im using both unlock methods. No prob so far.
It's great having biometrics / thumb or fingerprint for quick authentication for everything too. Sometimes Face Unlock auto unlocks my phone in a snap, far faster than almost any time I've tried it on my iPhone14 Plus but if not, it's so nice just authenticating with biometric ID instead rather than having to swipe or tap everywhere.
Ima iPhone person and even I can admit a lot of these "issues" you're having are so minor. You're trying to do a lot of stuff while driving lol. Maybe you should start calling people. Having trouble tapping ya card which everyone has problems with, I have to triple tap all my iPhones all the time lol. Sounding robotic on a phone call I've heard this plenty of times using all my AirPods and every iPhone. Notification sounds really, come on bro 😂 Probably the most legit issue I see is the keyboard. But the rest just sound like general issues when using technology bro.
As an iPhone user, I recently acquired the Samsung S24 Ultra to explore its advanced AI capabilities. While I appreciate the S24 Ultra's impressive design, superior display, and enhanced S Pen functionality, I acknowledge that the iPhone's camera system remains superior in terms of professional photography. Nevertheless, the S24 Ultra's AI features, particularly in photo editing, offer a fun and creative experience, albeit not suitable for professional use. I intend to maintain my iPhone for its ecosystem integration while exploring the S24 Ultra's capabilities.
Hats off sir because you actually spent some time with a phone and OS you aren't familiar with and didn't judgeit based on a short look. I could never switch to iPhone for many reasons, but mostly features on Samsung that aren't on iPhone (like split screen, one-handed mode, multitasking, Spen and other things). I'm more for what best suits me and I like making a phone feel like mine and the home screen is a big part of that (which iPhone just auto align the icons at the top which makes it further to reach one handed, so not for me). The Spen makes it convenient to use the phone without my fingers smudging the screen and using it by writing on the keyboard is also nice
Appreciated! I do genuinely enjoy trying all Android phones. It's far more interesting & exciting than the same old iPhone experience every year. But you hit the nail on the head, it's what works best for you - which won't be the same as what works best for someone else :) Thanks for watching man!
The keyboard literally popped up half a second after he swiped like bro you swear you never get that on the iPhone sometimes I feel like it’s slower on the iPhone. Like it’s less than half a second from when he swiped 😩😂
23:54 better thing is to here is either set the right app as your default pdf viewer so it doesnt ask u again and again or just go my files and u can easily share it from the recents shortcuts
The Ultra phones are freaking awesome and I love the screens but after 1 year of use I went back to iPhone for a few reasons only. Constancy, no more apps lagging sometimes. Video quality, it’s way superior on iPhone especially the 15pro Max. And the optimisation of the apps. It’s just a better experience for content creators. I still have my Ultra and iPhone and I jump back and forwards wishing I could combine things from both phones but the random lagging sometimes in the Ultra shows me I made the right call for me.
18:00 im seriously question if you have a faulty unit, but the s24 is the cleanest while on call with other persons... and you can costumise every sound, for app/person individually... one thing is... maybe ur not looking the right way, android apps are different, maybe try to change ring tone/notification tone, on that specific app settings, hope this help :D
Interesting to hear! I think it's difficult either way you switch if you've always used one or another for any length of time. Glad you were able to switch alright!
Aici ai dreptate și când am trecut la iPhone a fost super ciudat și greu dar după nu am mai vrut android și am avut și Samsung s24 ultra și aș prefera un pixel am și avut și mi s-a părut super curat și ok dar părerile sunt total diferite.
I recently switched to IOS after google failed to make a petite phone that wasn't stripped down but Siri might be the one feature that drives me back to android. I don't think I can live with " I found this on the web" I found this on the web ain't gonna cut it.
the thing apple does a lot better than android is that they think about what they are doing and really try to make everything perfect what they do and really care about how it looks
You can switch the Google assistant to the new Google Gemini under the assistant setting. However, Gemini can't manage your calendar or reminders, so it's not very useful in that regard.
The first complaint about the animations being slow when there's an option to speed up or eliminate animations all together... maybe i didn't realize just how few setting options apple has 🤣 I really agree though the color difference between the different lenses is really horrible
What I don't understand is why you want Samsung to do things like an iPhone, as much as I won't like an iPhone to do things like Samsung, each phone must have it's individualism...what would be the point if all phones work the same way
Yeah absolutely. I wanted to show people who it's like going through the motions whilst I went through them. Android phones are great, but this was really showing why many iPhone users find it hard to change. Still enjoying the phone (on the regular S24 now!) and there are plenty of things I love about the way Android works that iPhone can't and won't do :)
I go back and forth between ios and android regularly...i love that someone finally called out the media output widget. Its such a underrated feature!! Instant source of pain when i go back to apple. Well done.
I’m glad you highlighted the difficulties using with Apple devices. I want to try Android again (one plus 12 or the Z fold) but have the IPad, Apple TV, HomePod at home. Gives me something to think about. Good video mate.
Thanks Mark! Appreciated bud :) It's still nice to not use an iPhone, but yeah, does introduce some issues. Particularly with the new HomeKit doorbell that's just arrived... lol
That is because what most of us like isn’t exactly what creators want out of their cameras because they’d need the flexibility to colour grade and edit. Different needs mean different priorities. Another reason, which MKBHD called out in the past blind tests as well, is consistency. But normal phone users should not care about any of that.
4:40 I too love keeping my home screen clean and searching for my apps. I've switched to the home screen only layout in home screen settings, but the keyboard doesnt pop up at all when i swipe up to search. I get the search screen, but I have to tap in the search field for the keyboard to open up. Driving me crazy!
All the problems that Pete mentioned sound fixable, like the light for ex: I'd adjust the light and set a blue light filter so my eyes won't burn in the morning.
THANK YOU!! Finally a video which shows the annoyances of Android and also Samsung. The Ultra hardware is amazing but over three months of ownership you’ll know why Android OS is just second tier to iOS.
I'm not sure why you're not having a great camera experience. My S24 Ultra photos and videos are coming out great! My iPhone friends have been very impressed!
It was really unpleasant for me to watch your video ,just don't do this video we have the impression that the iPhone beats Samsung on all points, and I unsubscribed directly, apple apple apple, you just have apple in your mouth, we has the impression that this Samsung has nothing better than the iPhone. 👎👎
One of the better comparisons of these phones/platforms I have seen on RUclips. Touching on the day to day usage differences, even though this may vary between people. Overall, a great job 👏
If you need to lock up your primary phone to do a 6-month test, you clearly need more time to be ready for this. This video feels rushed. Mentioning " problems," which you literally discovered workarounds. Also, when you're an Apple ecosystem consumer, problems like connecting your phone to your laptop are unique to Apple macOS and have nothing to do with Android or Samsung phones. The notification sound thing literally means you get to customize it. It's easy. Yet again, too many things were "I'm not used to it." The PDF complaint makes no sense because u can click "ALWAYS'" to pick a permanent one. If the presence of 4 pdfs apps causes anxiety. Definition of non-issue The Only valid points were health fitness, QR code, and call quality. The idea that a tech tuber was so initially inept is disheartening.
Works to move files back and forth between Mac and Samsung also (drag and drop to or from Finder into the folder in Smart Switch). Personally aside from when I need to copy music across when I first get the phone, this is literally something I never have to do - it's all cloud sync'd and I never think about it.
Android Auto is a mess. With my Pixel 7 Pro it would connect without audio, disconnect constantly, and trying to make a phone call would never work. The instability with certain apps also made me switch to iPhone.
Routines is such a powerful feature. I know these are mostly personal behaviors but, how about i tell you can set to change the EQ based on the bluetooth device you connect to. Or, you can define a night-time routine to silence the phone except the calls from your family.
You can disable the edit lock screen feature so you don't run into that problem. I don't use face unlock at night because I rely on my fingerprint so I don't use the brighten screen. There's solutions to a lot of these inconveniences but people don't like looking into them and "give up" rather than try and find a solution.
When setting up face unlock on the S24 U, first one is a well lit room, then you set up an alternative face, I set it up, lights off TV on, works just fine for me. It actually gets smart as time goes on and learns our face. In my home, I use extended unlock. I don't need my phone to lock if I am at home. To find this setting, go to settings, type in the search box, extended, tap on extended Unlock, put in our pin, if you already have an address associated with your Google account tap on that address and add as trusted place.
😂Watching this video for 23 mins 24 secs, nothing but complaints so far sheesh. That's over half of the video. Tells me 30 days isn't enough to familiarize yourself with S24 ultra. I own an iPhone (13 pro max) and Android (S24 ultra). In my experience, using an iPhone requires more steps (and less intuitive) compared to Samsung which usually require just one or two steps. Lastly there is a major software update today coming for the cameras and screen.
I use google calender and assistent on ios. I have setup siri to ask google so i can ask both assistents. I also use google drive and mail a lot more. (I come from the samsung s23, *best samsung phone*)
I really like the S24U, but you hit on the main reason I stayed with my S23U: The camera. I saw the same thing as you. IMHO, the camera on the S23U takes better pictures, especially when you zoom .. As you stated, these are actually cameras with a phone attachment. Samsung really needed to improve, or at least not degrade the camera quality. Beyond that, the S24U is a great device, and I like many of the directions they are going with it. Maybe the next version will have a better camera.
Apparently, Iphones dont let you have multiple windows at the same time? And have trouble with many apps running at the same time? My old S20 can do these things lol. That is definitely a deal breaker for me. I love the multi window thing. I'll be watching a UFC fight/YT video, or browsing the web overlayed on top of some other thing I'm doing/viewing.
Very interesting video. I'm lucky enough to own both the 15 Pro Max and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It's fair to point out that if you did a video of an S24 Ultra user switching to the 15 Pro Max you would find as many if not more frustrations. When I'm at home and doing nothing more than checking messages and the news I use the iPhone but for any thing important it's always the Samsung.
Exactly. I tried out an ipad a couple of years ago, and it was an incredibly frustrating experience. And a lot depends on how you use your device and what for.
Samsung is in a great position to get iPhone users to switch with the stagnation of iOS but…..like I always say and like you’ve just shown. Switching to Android is like ‘death by a thousand cuts’. It’s not necessarily the OEM phone makers fault. It’s Googles fault not making it easy for developers to more easily develop for Android. Android development is a PITA compared to developing for iOS. Theres a required framework for having apps on the Apple App Store. That’s why iOS apps are more consistent and generally built, look and work better.
I played with the S24 Ultra in the shop and used the AI summary on a website but I was surprised to see that I couldn't select the text from the AI summary. Is there some way to select the text so you can copy-paste etc?
@@derrickmack1029 And? How do you do it? I assume there is a workaround like taking a screenshot and then selecting the text from there but if that is the only way to do it then that’s a UI design fail.
What you have said is 100 percent correct very genuine review i've watched till date👏 Same problems even i face with my s23 Ultra samusng should work more on their phones to compete with iphones
The thing is, Samsung adds alot of bells and whistles to catch your attention so you buy the product. After using it you see the attention to detail it's not there and the software it's not polished.
You should deff have more subscribers than you do. Another great video and it was so nice to hear about day to day stuff and not just another video regurgitating info about the new AI features
I'm half way through and you just convinced me to stay with the iPhone. Sure it's boring, sure it's behind as always, but the ease of use, connectivity and syncing data between Mac & iPhone is seamless.
In India we have HD calling through any phone whether its iphone or samsung, also facetime doesn't exist in India, direct video call is done through network provider network, it's free of cost, and the quality which you get is FHD+ no delay no lag. So its the US or EU problem.
I think some of these issues would be the same switching from android to iphone. You have to change and adapt how you use things, mess around with settings etc at least initially to get things set up the way you like them
Very easy recommendation to iphone users. In 2025 though id say that both Samsung and apple offer such well rounded phones that you can't go wrong. Not gonna feel like a big upgrade or downgrade anymore in any particular area
one issue I had with the S23 Ultra was Facebook messenger notifications never got received until the app was opened. Assuming the same issue still exists on the S24
@@sigarner01 honestly I would call that a feature. Lol. No distractions until I want it. But generally speaking, if this happens then it's due to battery management of that app set to aggressive.
It was definitely a Messenger App issue. I have the S23 Ultra and would only have that issue when the app would update in the background so I didnt realize it.
I Think this whole comparison-switching thing between the iPhone 15 pro Max and the Galaxy S24 Ultra is something personal and individual. Everybody uses a phone in different ways. Myself I need my S24 Ultra most the time for business. But I am happy to own a device with a great cam, great display etc. But the iPhone 15 pro Max is a great device too. There are sometimes small things who makes the difference. Example? Split screening/ multitasking. My S24 Ultra don’t need a 3rd part app. It is there in Android. Maybe I am wrong, but I cannot find the possibility to split screen/multitasking on my wife’s iPhone 15 pro Max in iOS 17.4? The same for the S-PEN. Steve Jobs said by the first iPhone Keynote “who needs a stylus”? A stylus (S-PEN) can be very useful. In my case it is. And I think a few Androids user would change to Apple when they would spend an integrated Pen with slot for the iPhone. On the other hand, the Face ID on iPhone in my opinion is much better than on android. And to switch in 2024 it is very easy. If you are locked in the Apple world with iPad/ Apple Watch etc. it can be difficult, that’s right. I did the switch in 2022 from Apple to Samsung with more or less all the consequences (the MacBook pro/ iMac pro is still my PC’s). And I am happy with my decision. Sometimes I wish a “Galaxy Watch Ultra” but the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is a superb device too and looks like a Watch. At the end, both manufacturers are making top devices. You must make your choice 😉
16:32 I have this issue with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, mostly with my mom who also has the 14 pro max, it’s a bit better when I use FaceTime audio or video. Last year I used the 23 ultra and the person on the other line would hear voices even though I was in a quiet room, until now I hadn’t realized just how bad Samsung can be with phone calls
Samsung has an app called "Smart switch" that's available on IPhone and transfers everything over easily and quickly. It's part of the phones setup process.
29:02 Can you have a phone call and have the phone transcribe the call so that you can refer back to it later? I have seen the translate version of this and also the one where Samsung answers the call for you and transcribes it but I just want to have a normal phone call and have a transcription of it at the end. This would be handy when architects or builders call me while I am out of the office and then I can refer back to that call when I get back to the office. This would be especially handy if the phone could not only transcribe it but summarise it into bullet points.

Exactly. It’s factual you use more brain power on android just facts
I would say, you see how apple users are basic lol :) and can’t actually use technology 👌🏻
Made the switch cuz got the iPhone 13pro max on a deal had a note 10 plus I miss my galaxy about to get a zfold 5 in a few hours
He should stick to an iPhone cause it'll just work better with his ecosystem when it comes to day to day use.
who is this guy....???😅 he is actually whining
With circle to search. You don't need to take a picture before hand if it's something that's in your surroundings. Just going into the camera app and having that item in view of the camera. You can still circle it and search. It just needs to appear on your screen. It doesn't have to be in a picture format.
Wow. I don't know y I haven't tried that. This will save time Fer sher
Yep, going to check out the new update! Although I heard that for some reason it doesn't include the screen fix for the UK update... I hope it does

Exactly
I got rid of my 15 pro max for the s24 ultra and I couldn't be happier honestly. Iphone is finished. Apple treat you like a boy. Like you are renting there products and don't own it. Samsung treat you like a man. Do what you want with it. Love it.
That's a great way to put it! You definitely feel like you're the one in charge when using an Android device, whereas Apple wants you to do things their way or the highway.
agree 100%
Ce ai făcut tu am încercat eu și am ajuns la iPhone înapoi ,decât Samsung aș prefera pixel succes .
I got to correct you here at 17:13.
There is HD-Call if you're calling another samsung user
Not just samsung user, if u have wifi 6 the call automatically sets to hd call nd also there are settings in the phone menu to turn on hd call.
I've called plenty of people that don't use Samsung phones and it was still HD-Calling
What he secretly meant was VOIP, it is clearer than HD calls (which is a carrier thing since most phones support it)
Google Meet is the parallel to facetime on android
Your ring door bell notification set my dog off. I had to open the front door, so she saw there was no one there.

Wow you're so cool
You would like to say that iOS for a boy. Android for a man. 😅

12:48 I mean, it is a safety feature. Do your location and searching before you drive!
to use Android you have to forget about Apple, apparently you can't, that's why you still want Samsung to do everything the same as the iPhone. It's like moving from a Bentley to a Maybach. These two cars are similar but very different, until you understand this, your transfers make no sense.
Sponsered by apple?
So no one in the world can like apple? Just only Samsung without being a fanboy or a sponsorship 🤔
Why does this have so many likes, its the dumbest comment
You broke it down perfectly
5:13 in developer opitions turn your anamtor scale to .5 for all 3 options to speed it it. Or turn it of to remove the anamation all together(fastest)
iPhone users can not comprehend such settings, it doesn't exist in their realm hence it will never be done by an iPhone user reviewing an android device.
1st ever person i heard having trouble using both face unlock and fingerprint 😅
Im using both unlock methods.
@@TheRealLink I was literally explaining this to someone when you commented this, couldn't have said it better
It just sounds wrong saying "professional" about photos or videos _on a phone_ 😅
Nothing about the IPhones cameras is professional 🤣
Yoy think professionals use phones or real cameras?
But you hit the nail on the head, it's what works best for you - which won't be the same as what works best for someone else :)

@PeteMatheson never used pin pattern.

Because IOS if for simpletons
I recently switched to IOS after google failed to make a petite phone that wasn't stripped down but Siri might be the one feature that drives me back to android. I don't think I can live with " I found this on the web" I found this on the web ain't gonna cut it.
the thing apple does a lot better than android is that they think about what they are doing and really try to make everything perfect what they do and really care about how it looks
5:11 for this issue, you could speed up animations in developer options within Settings
I made the switch from iPhone 6plus to note 8 and haven't gone back.
You can switch the Google assistant to the new Google Gemini under the assistant setting. However, Gemini can't manage your calendar or reminders, so it's not very useful in that regard.
Yeah loving the Gemini but I kinda want it to have access to my data to be useful. Good to see them making moves though!
Bigsby is a lot better than it used to be and I actually find myself using it more now for things like that.
gemini is racist
Gemini has some other big problems at the moment.
you know you can install android usb drivers for mac to allow file transfer right?
5:30 You can have the face unlock take you directly to the home screen instead of staying on the lock screen like the iphone.
Forgot to mention this! Actually disabled that as I wanted to unlock to see notifications without touching the phone too much
The first complaint about the animations being slow when there's an option to speed up or eliminate animations all together... maybe i didn't realize just how few setting options apple has 🤣
I really agree though the color difference between the different lenses is really horrible
I've had Samsung since the S3, I tried switching to iPhone 8, turned it in right away 😂 guess we stick with what we know best
Still enjoying the phone (on the regular S24 now!) and there are plenty of things I love about the way Android works that iPhone can't and won't do :)
most of issues are related to you, as you are new may be, you can change settings to fix them
I go back and forth between ios and android regularly...i love that someone finally called out the media output widget.
Particularly with the new HomeKit doorbell that's just arrived... lol
Funny when people say ok cameras, but iphone was 10th place in an actual blind test
It’s just laziness lol
This video is proof Android people will get upset and call someone a fanboy purely for having an opinion lol
THANK YOU!! Finally a video which shows the annoyances of Android and also Samsung. The Ultra hardware is amazing but over three months of ownership you’ll know why Android OS is just second tier to iOS.
No. It's just Samsung. A Pixel is a much more fluid device than any iPhone.
I'm not sure why you're not having a great camera experience. My S24 Ultra photos and videos are coming out great! My iPhone friends have been very impressed!
Yes, my photos so far have been lovely.
He's doing it on purpose to downplay Samsung so he doesn't leave his Apple ecosystem and please his Apple viewers

It's easy.
Yet again, too many things were "I'm not used to it."
The PDF complaint makes no sense because u can click "ALWAYS'" to pick a permanent one. If the presence of 4 pdfs apps causes anxiety. Definition of non-issue
The Only valid points were health fitness, QR code, and call quality.
The idea that a tech tuber was so initially inept is disheartening.
Regarding transferring data from iPhone to Samsung phone, you can use ( smart switch )😅
Works to move files back and forth between Mac and Samsung also (drag and drop to or from Finder into the folder in Smart Switch). Personally aside from when I need to copy music across when I first get the phone, this is literally something I never have to do - it's all cloud sync'd and I never think about it.

Routines is such a powerful feature. I know these are mostly personal behaviors but, how about i tell you can set to change the EQ based on the bluetooth device you connect to. Or, you can define a night-time routine to silence the phone except the calls from your family.
Just get Zedge and pick and download which custom notifications you want
Your "negative" is habits driven not more this s24 uktra is a beast from a phone
5:00 you can make it appear faster by increasing the overall system animation speed.

I genuinely don’t understand why people care about what phone people use. It’s all about personal preference and taste.
I mean, I think it’s cool to explore the other side.
