Thanks for the video, plenty of action and didn't look too snaggy. Good to see a chance meeting with Mr Shorehunter, looking forward to your future collaborations again.
It's a nice mark to be honest, deep water and clean ground. We have missed so many calls off one another it's amazing we bump in to each other at a random rock mark 😂
Nice to see all the Sea Angling utubers doing collaborations these days. Makes it little more diversified and interesting fishing each others areas.Well done, good watch and sound back to normal 🎣🐟😎👍🏽
Hey up Alex , love the vidio's , keep em coming . On a non-fishing subject I saw you comment about the lack of Donegal Rally info . I've been following the progress of Matt Edwards this year because he used to drive the RSD Fiat 131 who I work for , so I've found that searching Facebook for ITRC Irish Tarmac Rally Championship and onthepacenote will give you all the links . You might get more info nearer to the event . Enjoy Ireland , I wish I could be there .
Hey buddy! That's awesome thanks! Following my comment on the donegal page I've had a few people reach out from the event with info so it's all slowly coming together I think now 😆 can't wait 😆
Excellent all round . . . the species, the view, the sound, the filming. Thank you and well done. With the thornback and with the dabs, as you walked close to the edge to reel in, the camera does a nifty bit of a zoom in, but you are both in the picture . . . so unless there is a mystery 3rd person, how did that happen?!
Thanks Russel. In the editing software I use, you can crop the view to zoom in. You can also control the zoom over a certain clip, it doesn't always look right though but it worked in this instance. So in short it's the same clip and the raw footage is the same view, just tweaked while editing.
Hi Alex you ok pal, dogs for me all day only coz we don't get em till summer on the humber as you no. Cracking vid again with you n Tommy. I new that was Wayne's voice b 4 he came down lol. What was the odds of that you bumping into him. Well done on ya session. I've just got bkbfrom this morning session n it was my first blank since February. All the best from G.Y
Aup Carl! It was really random but great to see him again. Hopefully, won't be as long until the next meeting. You've done well not to blank until now mate, have you just not been fishing 🤔😂
Hi Alex excellent fishing trip plenty of action great video yes I would rather catch dog fish than crabs taking my bait many a time has a dog fish saved the blank thanks
Great session again and fair play to Tommy putting you on the fish. I know you both are good friends but who's copying who. Green t-shirts, green baseball caps and both of you with beards lol. A really nice place to fish and conditions were spot on, thanks for uploading.
Lol, good answer. I would never accuse Tommy of cheating but you do know that's a false beard he's wearing. He entered a competition last year and didn't catch anything but and the weigh in he was caught pulling a huss and a conger eel out of his beard. Apparently he caught them the day before on a local hot spot called "Alex Reef."
Haha, I'm not surprised 😅 hopefully he gets used to them soon, or there will be a pair of sloshes for sale 😉 I almost kept a few to try, maybe next time
Love your videos fella, this might seem a daft question, but as someone who does'nt yet sea fish, but considering getting into it, how come the dislike for Dog Fish.
Aup Paul, they're a bit of a plague mate, to be honest. They're scavengers, and usually move in packs, so once they're there, it's usually tricky to get your bait in front of anything else.
Hi Alex, I've followed you for a while now and enjoy your videos, i grew up on Anglesey but now live in Ireland, i was wondering where in Ireland your heading too. I'm in sligo but have fished the coast from killybegs in donegal to achill island in mayo. If your near these area's i could tell you some marks etc.
Hey Lee. I haven't got a plan yet, just a ferry in and out of Larne. I've planned dates around the Donegal rally, but whether we make it there or not who knows. I'm just writing a post for Facebook actually asking for recommendations of places to visit/stay/fish so would love some pointers mate.
Donegal is about a 2hr drive from Larne and donegal is 1 1/2 hour's from me. Can't help with accommodation around there but I know of a few decent marks around killybegs I can put you on. I'll find you on fb and send you pins and info.
There are literally thousands of places to fish on Anglesey mate. Best to head to one of the tackle shops and ask where is fishing best when your there
@@theawfulangler We used to throw them back for years, especially when we fished Llanddwyn Island. Endedup on a boat trip we caught loads of mackeral then they started using them for bait for doggies, said they were the prize. Found out if you gaff them and slice skin round the neck it peels off, they dont have bones just cartilage ... and they taste superb, poor mans monkfish identical in texture, they used to use them in chippies, called them rock salmon. Honestly you need to try one.
@moorjock yeah I've heard good things just a lot of prep as I was told the defecate themselves when stressed so you need to soak the flesh in milk etc. Might have to give them a go, though, keep your eyes peeled.
@@theawfulangler Your right about the milk, had forgotten about that. Still working on my kids to let me take them to Anglesay ... once they taste those fish .... lol
I stopped doing them mate as they were giving me a headache organising and posting etc. I am working on a new supplier which hopefully will be sorted soon...watch this space.
Excellent vid as usual. Thank you
Thanks for the video, plenty of action and didn't look too snaggy.

That’s fate for you 🎣🐟🦈
Been catching some double figure hounds from new Brighton the last two weeks!
I'll be over that way soon mate, hoping to meet up with a couple of the Akios lads.
Nice to see all the Sea Angling utubers doing collaborations these days. Makes it little more diversified and interesting fishing each others areas.Well done, good watch and sound back to normal 🎣🐟😎👍🏽
Cheers David! I just like it when everyone gets along, there's too much needless competition in the world without youtube becoming one of them.
Another great session pal. Looks lovely over there, yeah doggys for me too

Brilliant weekend and i love having you over m8t always welcome and was good to meet Wayne. And some cracking comments on the video
Always a pleasure mate. Notice how no one has chosen spider crabs over dogfish though 😏
@@theawfulangler must not catch as many Dogfish as me 🤣🤣

@theawfulangler nice to see you attract something fish I suppose
Someone's got face on them this morning 😢😂
I love fishing sorts my Sanity right out , can't beat it ❤❤
Fresh air, peace and quiet, and you can sling one bait out and leave it for 6hrs or fish hard whichever you fancy.
Great video and nice selection of fish and good banter really enjoyed. Tight lines guys 🎣🎣🎣🎣

@@theawfulangler sounds like a good plan 👌

Nice one Alex I fish there a lot and had tope off there the crabs can be a nightmare this time of year
I'd have loved a big tope run, but was happy with a nice mixed bag. Always next time 🦈 🎣
Get some Srt springs above the hooks mate, it will stop the spiders snipping off the hooks. 👍
That's a good shout that, expensive mind but great idea 👍🏼
Nice tip that
The 3 of you should plan something. I enjoy all three of your 🎣 videos
You never know mate, trouble is, where would we do it 🤔
Dogs for me Alex . Keep the vids coming.
The right choice mate, thanks
Hi Alex excellent fishing trip plenty of action great video yes I would rather catch dog fish than crabs taking my bait many a time has a dog fish saved the blank thanks
Thanks Michael! Absolutely right mate, I'd rather be catching dogs than feeding crabs
Great Video, Good Stuff!!! -👍
