Great day Alex. The reflection of the sky in the water at the low water mark was beautiful. And the grandma farts comment bought back memories of my granny...🤣
Another great vid as always mate. But stuff paddling in that crap all day lol. Id be on me ass for sure. Fantastic little tope.. Get in. Take care and tight lines pal 🎣🎣
You looked in really good spirits Alex , which was as good to see as some of the great fish you caught ,keep well and carry on doing what you do for us please.
I been struggling with my bipolar i haven't been able to get out of my flat for nearly 2 months i been watching your videos i really wish i cound get out but watching you makes me think one day it will happen love your videos keep it up
@theawfulangler it was, it had a few good runs but the tide run was super strong and it felt like a 100lb. Only took a few mins to get in though. My mate had one off the holderness coast same day 28lb while hound fishing.
Hi Alex great video & some nice fish morecambe & heysham are great places to fish with many different species just a shame about the mud were we come from people who fish with one handle on left one on right they call them cack handed thanks and all the best.
My son and me.have been catching small tope up the Menai this year up to.about 6 lb but lost a couple of better fish ..fantastic to see them about good for the future 🙌 👌.
Great vlog as usual Alex. Looks likely you finding good Marks frequently now. Morecombe is the nearest place to fishing from Bradford if I follow the A road from the north of Bradford. I think I should start exploring morecambe for fishing than constantly stuck with north east side. Keep uploading the good work.
Absolutely a great place to fish. There were a few other anglers around within shouting distance as we were joking about how many baby tope there were. But it's a good muddy walk so no casuals around
One of my fav marks,,, but over high water,, end of the blue railings about half a mile up the road, o and a decent night tide,, bass central. Fresh blow lugg catches em along with the hounds,,,,.and your second mark righthand side of the rocky out crops best but don't fish it over 8metrs.
Cheers Peter. I think I know where you mean for the first mark. I almost fished there after this session but to be honest after 0430 alarm, by 8pm I was ready to head home. As for the rocks I was on the right side. There seemed to be a big ledge to my left which I got hung up on a couple of times, so next time I was thinking I'd go slightly further left towards Heysham and aim for the IoM
@@theawfulangler yep there both good marks. Plus rossal over low but,,,, got to be a little mindful of the incoming tide and gullies behind. Lookin forward to me first trip of the year to craster Northumberland though.
🤣🤣 my dad would say you cast cack handed Alex 😂 although me dads got some weird arse cast he rotates rod during cast really weird to see 😂 however he can ping a lead, I'm just ove head thumper with rod in right hand all rods no matter the type lol take care & right lines pal 👍
Haha cack handed or keggie handed is the other phrase round here. I might have to switch them around and give it a go. Be like brushing your teeth left handed
@@theawfulangler 🤣🤣 ant herd that one, I'm not in slightest ambidextrous so brushing teeth with left would be a disaster🤣 like my fishing 60% of time, take care n tight lines dude
Nicecone Alex, always good to try new marks and all came good for you. Iv always wondered to fish them rocks and av seen some very nice fish come from them so will give it ago, when I suss out how to get to them. What is that elastic thingy you are using please mate?
Great day Alex. The reflection of the sky in the water at the low water mark was beautiful. And the grandma farts comment bought back memories of my granny...🤣
I've only seen water as calm as that a handful of times, stunning!
Great watch Alex really enjoyed the video along with a cup of coffee and a packet of chocolate hobnob’s. Thanks mate you take care 👍🎣🎣
Chocolate hobnobs, the greatest biscuit of all time!
Greatvid, again Alex, love the down to earth as it is production! Thank you for your time and effort to bring these vids to us!
Thanks for watching, and even more so for the kind words mate 👍🏼
A grand session. As you say, it all came together. Looks really good when sea is flat calm and you get a perfect reflection of the cloud scape. 🧔 👍
Thanks Bob, managed to get some nice pics for the socials 🏞
Another great vid as always mate. But stuff paddling in that crap all day lol. Id be on me ass for sure. Fantastic little tope.. Get in. Take care and tight lines pal 🎣🎣
Won't be long until we are all paddling around on those cliffs tops mate. Roll on cod season
You looked in really good spirits Alex , which was as good to see as some of the great fish you caught ,keep well and carry on doing what you do for us please.
Really nice of you to say mate, thank you!
Well done Alex, that was an absolutely cracking Smoothie!
There's some monsters coming out on the holderness at the minute over 20lb 😱 hoping to get in on some of that action
I been struggling with my bipolar i haven't been able to get out of my flat for nearly 2 months i been watching your videos i really wish i cound get out but watching you makes me think one day it will happen love your videos keep it up
Take it easy mate, dont be too hard on yourself, it will happen when the times right 👍🏼
Matthew, set a date a year from now to visit New York City and I'll take you fishing on the Hudson River and in Central Park.
@nicolalagonigro1155 that's a dream thanks though
Nice one Alex, must be a nice little tope nursery there. I've just had my first shore caught and first ever tope from Scotland last month 30lb.
I bet that put up a good scrap. With all these pups about could get really interesting in the next couple of years

Cack handed is a term used around here too haha
Great video , great session, love the baby tope and a nice smooth hound and bass . Keep the vids coming, well done, tight lines 🦈
Thanks Dave. So many baby tope about it could be interesting in years to come
There I was thinking you had opposite sided real handles to prevent one side knocking against the rod stand 😂😂 Love watching your videos.
It's one of the benefits. But at one point I wanted to switch the rods but then both handles were clashing
Great video Alex and some lovely fish there. Congratulations on the new species to add to your list
Thanks Alan need to get out after the mini species and get the numbers up a bit 👍🏼
@@theawfulangler tight lines mate
Great session mate, love the sheer joy on your face when you landed smoothie,

My son and me.have been catching small tope up the Menai this year up to.about 6 lb but lost a couple of better fish ..fantastic to see them about good for the future 🙌 👌.
With how many pups I saw coming out on this mark, there could be some incredible tope fishing on the west coast in the coming years
Well done looked like a cracking days fishing
Great days fishing, thanks mate
Handle on the right side 😂 Each to there own what ever is comfortable for you buddy
I can't lure fish with the reel that side though 😂 it's bizarre

Baby shark 🦈 well done 🎣
Do do dah do 🎶
Even though it looks "washed out" and, as you tell us, it is smelly, it look a great place, with no one else around, visible to us, anyway.

😂 if only that was the case mate, I'd be the next Pablo Escobar with the amount on some marks
Enjoy your Video 🎉

Pfft 🍑🌬
Nicecone Alex, always good to try new marks and all came good for you. Iv always wondered to fish them rocks and av seen some very nice fish come from them so will give it ago, when I suss out how to get to them.
What is that elastic thingy you are using please mate?
I think I prefer trying new marks over fishinh regular spots. Do you mean the bait elastic?
@@theawfulangler yes mate
Nice upload are you using the power tip on your fury.
About to pull the trigger on the Fury 435 SRS looks like you are still happy with your 420
Be careful with that tide
There lad . Can come

Fast as owt
Don't you worry, gears packed up and ready to go and away long before risk of getting in ant trouble
Nice one Alex, why do you have your rod handles on opposite sides of the reels 😅
Just like to be different Daz
@@theawfulangler 🤣👍
Are you fishing the Pwllheli open this year
Not sure yet mate, it's the only week off sarah can get for the rest of the year so we may be elsewhere
I am a lefty, so my reel handles are ALWAYS in the right!
Which shoulder do you cast over then?
