Wolcen: Diablo 4 & Path of Exile Competitor? Impressions
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 8 авг 2024
- Will Wolcen be the game to take on Path of Exile, Diablo 3, and eventually Diablo 4? This aRPG shows a lot of promise. Formerly called Umbra when it was on Kickstarter, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is a hack-and-slash game currently in alpha. Single-player only for now, but the devs are working on multiplayer. Inspired by Diablo 2, with Diablo 1 elements. These are my impressions / my review of Wolcen so far. Release date for Wolcen is unknown.

Man, this just showed up in my recommended videos, feels like it did not age well.
It did not haha
What an unexpcted turn of events
Looks pretty awesome, I especially like the passive abilities "wheel" design, very cool
Who else still plays Diablo 2 ?
I still play Diablo 1 lol
Here here! Will never stop!
downloading it now
Hardcore self found all the way. My 2 best attempts were hell act 2 and act 5 hell. I must kill Hell Ball HC!
Best game ever created
Awesome video.
Quick question though :
You said our character has to start by selecting a node at the middle of the rotating thingy but you had nodes elsewhere on the first circle sections, could you talk a bit more about how this works?
I assume the all point is that you can rotate the first circle too so obviously you need points everywhere but is that additionnal points or another thing ?
I wasn't going to finish the video. But, when I saw that character name, I stayed awhile and listened.
I'm excited about this. Any new serious competitor to this genre is welcome. It can only benefit us all. Competition usually results in better products for us the players. Rhykker, please keep us up to date with this game.
@Rhykker hey what skills and play type would i need to use to build a Monk type build from diablo3
Your first description was correct. A sector is the plane figure enclosed by two radii of a circle or ellipse and the arc between them. That perfect describes the passive skill tree layout. Comes form the Latin "sect" meaning "to cut" as opposed to sexta-hex for 6 and 1/6th
your D3 videos have helped bring life and new interest into an aging game, Thanks
@Rhykker A sector has nothing to do with how many parts you divide a circle in. It is merely a "slice" of a circle, to be precise a figure bounded by two radii and their arc.
True, sector doesn't derive from sex (six) but instead secare (participle sectum), which means 'to cut'. :)
...and that's awesome, because that Latin word is a root of many, many modern words - not only Germanic langs, but also Slavic (like "siekiera" - an axe). One of my favs. I guess Wiktionary had a nice list.
It definitely does look gorgeous and has some innovative elements. The skill wheel/web thingy takes me back to countless hours in Final Fantasy 10 trying to unlock all the orbs for each character.
This really looks like a game to keep an eye on.
I really enjoy how you review/explain these games. Do you have any plans to try Grim Dawn? Maybe I missed it but I did a search on your channel but didn't find anything about Grim Dawn.
What are those path of exile runes, you are talking about 🤔are you refearing to sockets, skillgems or skillnodes? Im confused
on your concern, fortunately there is a large crowd of ARPG players who enjoy innovating builds, who don't want that cookie cutter build, who will try out all kinds of really crazy stuff (just look at some of the PoE builds that happen), definitely a good chance of other builds.
looks promising i personally look forward to trying it, wehn i think i can afford to :)
Looks really promising, but i won't spent a cent yet, until it has multiplayer and has some more forther content etc. The early access trap got me too many times in the past lol. Thx for the heads up video anyways, cause without it, this game would be totally not on my radar.
Yeah, I'm with this guy. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
I'll buy in (it's cheap), and see how it progresses.
How they monetize it is *incredibly* important. I am a solid fan of PoE's style - cosmetics and stash space, nothing that affects the game itself. Paying for every update/DLC immediately turns me off any game.
Well well, i guess you won todays idiot award. Congrats.
I love that you have made this video, it seems to be pushing alot of people over to try it out. I've been following this from the time it was in kickstarter and LOVE this game and it's CRAZY potential.
"It's in the middle ground between diablo 3 and path of exile" soooo it's Grim Dawn? :D
So is there a way to reset your stat points and passive tree? Or do you need to make a whole new character to chenge anything?
I'm keenly interested in this answer as well.
Yes, you can reset both your stat and passive skill points at the Lore Master. But to be honest, I dont know, if this feature will stay in the final game or not.
@tensor I'm sure there will probably be a way in the final release, but it most likely won't be infinite. at least I think that's a good compromise between the people you mention and us normies :-)
I think such a feature HAS to be limited.
No way to reset is bad, but absolutetly 0 consequences in your choices are stupid in my opinion.
It makes for a lackluster experience as you could potentially always completly respecc into the op reddit build and smash content.
I dont think it makes the game harder ( even tho that is the case ) / more rpg, but it kinda gives u the feeling that your choices matter.
I do agree that there should be some sort of possiblity on respeccing I just dont like the nobrainer like d3 where u can just leave the fight and completly respecc in seconds.
Honestly everything at the start seemed like a typical ARPG but then we got into the meat of it.
- Rotating talent tree
- Custom forge-able weapons
- Crazy Ult forms
Honestly I am so hype for this game to be more fleshed out. As with everything there are some worries with it all; with the biggest one being the optimal builds. You have so many possibilities but why would you use them if there is one 'super best uber build'? I am 100% for customization as it tickles my fancy but I hope they balance it properly to avoid ONE build being king forever and/or by a large margin being too powerful.
Awesome informative video, thanks Rhykker!
Do you know what platforms this will be coming to?
It competes with a game that does not even exist...
Foensh lmao
Rhykker, I have an idea for you: can we (your fans and community) send news articles and threads from the official forums and the Diablo-subreddit to you, either via twitter or via the rhykker-subreddit? This way we can help you to search for news that you can use in your weekly recap videos and you didn't had to do all the research on your own. I think this would be a great way to involve your fanbase a bit more and it wouldn't even require much work from you.
You can promote this at the end of your videos by saying "if you also have something that you think is worth mentioning in the Diablo and Overwatch news recap videos, post it on my subreddit /r/Rhykker". I am sure people will send you links and I definitely would like to contribute!
+Bunkitia thanks, I am already putting up a few posts on Rhykkers subreddit that he can use.
Awesome! Thanks a bunch clueso for your interest in helping out! I've been going through news related things as they pop on reddit to help out as well ^___^
yeah, post them on Rykker subreddit, so he can see them. I am sure more people will follow when he promotes this idea and his subreddit in his videos!
reddit recap
Hi can some one please say what is the maximum party size in Wolcen ? POE is 6 D3 is only 4 what is Wolcen party size?
Does it have wasd movement controls? Similar to Spiral Knights?
@Rhykker So this is like a super updated Grim Dawn?
This whole video, all I could think was, damn man, there's also Grim Dawn.
When can we assume to have this game finished ? 2019 ?
Thank you for this nice overview. The overwhelming customization with the skill "tree" or rather say skill-circle , and the mutations with the custom form seems interesting as well, though you got the point with the optimization, still a really interesting feature , i would love to see a transformation which depends on choices and playstyle. I hope this game will be in beta as soon as it can:D I would love to play it when it is full, if they make the online multiplayer (co-op) experince as good as in D3
Been watching Wolcen since it was called Umbra. I am very excited and keeping a close eye on it, haven't taken the plunge yet though.
Thanks for presenting
Grim Dawn is a GREAT alternative. Also Torchlight 2. This new title has peaked my interest.
That's a really good point, regarding apocalytic form. It might force the min-maxer into a set playstyle to achieve xyz buff/form. Hopefully they balance it REALLY well.
Truly looks wonderful. My favorite aspect is the passive skill "tree." Just looks so unique and fun. I also like the idea of customizing items. Tried showing my wife the video/game. Her at-a-glance impression was "meh."
"... you can personalize your character and customize your house."
"Sold!"
MrVikingmead lol
rhykker, you look at poe's skilltree wrongly, the poe tree is about creating a path that min-maxes your own build the best, not what defines a ' class'. poe's tree makes it so you can go heavy melee as a witch , or go spell caster tank. i for example have a necromancer that doesnt summon minions, but uses the buffs for your minions for myself so that i become more powerfull. not that i dont like how wolcen takes the road, but i just thought your way of poe's tree image is wrong
Exactly my thoughts out there! Just written in much more sensible way. XD Also I don't know about what kind of story this Wolcen has but PoE has very deep story and background if one likes that. Personally I just enjoy the gameplay tho so I didn't even know about the story but only while ago.. :'D
Also about the builds: Last build I was trying to create until real life hit against my face and I stopped playing for a moment, was build that would be based around flasks alone. Building it so that I can spam 24/7 flask and having nodes which make them last longer and recharge faster. Definitely not your basic class build! I wasn't too sure about it but it worked at least on lower tier maps (I think I got up to T6 with that one), couldn't level up it more to see if it would work on higher ones but I can't see why not as Atziri's Promise flask turns part of your damage to chaos damage and also leeches life based on chaos damage. The more AoE spam I can cast, the more I also heal. :D
Its called a path finder go pathfinder u can spam flasks
+IllustriousTV Oh ok thanks for info!^^ I'm fairly new to the game and haven't yet really searched what different builds are called. I suppose as it has name in the community that other people use it as well. I guess I need to try come up with something more original and creative next time eh. :D
Also my first build I made was witch using dual bladefall totems but it got bit too boring and safe and started to lack damage after T10 maps so I dropped that. I was thinking to make Hierophant next with bladefall totems and hoping it would add up the damage with additional totems. Is this build already called something specific or is it popular? Also does anyone know if there is any way to find un-used builds other than just searching the popular builds and not using those? It would be important to me to keep things interesting as I always like to play with different style and create something that works but almost nobody uses.
((For example in one MMORPG called Champions Online I was one of the first to create tank focusing 100% on health and building everything around that. Even today partly because of it's small playerbase I believe I have solely the tank with highest reached health. :D))
I dont think bladefall currently is a strong skill But hierophant is pretty good as a ascendancy yes totems are pretty strong in general , oh and if u need builds just check the forums its mostly Fotm builds tho cause ppl wanna clear fast and without dying to much so if u wanna play a off meta skill ur gonna have to try to build it your self or get an general Idea what people used to use on before it got either nerfed or changed
I think this was a bit better before ascendancy locked some choices in. But I fully agree, currently running a block capped shrapnel shot/lightning arrow necro that's killed shaper guardians deathless lol.
Played this last summer in whatever phase of access/testing it was in then and saw the potential even back then. Thanks for reminding me it exists.
Grim Dawn (speaking of awesome aRPGs) can rotate the view as well, and it does help with some of their cave sections. But yeah, as soon as I'm done, I rotate it right back north, lol
First is it going to be multi-platform? And if so will it be cross-platform compatible??
Rhyker, have you tried playing Grim Dawn yet? Its another ARPG, I highly recommend giving it a try
Would really be awesome to see him try it out for a while.
PoE and Diablo 3 released years ago.
Why does something always have to be a 'killer' of a franchise? Can't we just say these guys are doing their own thing?
I bought the beta. I see lots of potential.
Btw how come you didn't mention grim dawn? For many people that's as good or better than d3 or poe
Does it allow for respec in the tech tree or runes? Or are you SOL and stuck if you choose wrong?
Passive skill tree can be reset by an npc. The runes of active skills can be changed anytime and anywhere.
Idk man, i'm pretty sceptical. They seems to have just hand picked some of the better features of many RPG games (Passive Tree from Poe, Skill system from Diablo, Weapon crafting from Dragon Age 3) but the question is will they work well together and will they feel good.
BIkaloss lol are you really implying Diablo skill system is better than Poe?
well if is Diablo 2 is better in all aspect, but Diablo 3 is worst on any aspect.
I like what I see so much that I just purchased the alpha.
I feel that this game looks nice, but the content doesn't seem all that much and looks to be very little progress, possibly just a few members working on it, but not enough to purchase at the moment.
I like what I see :D
Everything that I enjoyed about POE is here and with some new additions. The only question is: Does it have hard mode and hardcore mode where you have to restart upon death?
So I've heard about this game going through some rough dev cycles, hopefully it will blossom! Thank you for a detailed explanation, looking forward to further videos on this >_>
"Wolcen: Diablo 4 & Path of Exile Competitor?" that's a negative, sir
3:40 'police oficer' LOL)) I'd call it "choose the pill, Neo"
Being able to rotate the camera is actually really great, once you get used to being able to. A game that came out years ago; The Chosen - Well of Souls, had this functionality mapped to the mouse wheel and it was great...no more fighting blind as a wall or something got in the way...just rotate the camera and carry on. By the time I finished The Chosen, I really noticed the lack of the camera rotation functionality in other games...
Where will I find this on? Steam?
Looks like it has some serious potential. Though this Rhykker guy doesn't seem to have the objectivity to accurately compare each aspect of these games. He seems much like a friend of mine who I often find insufferable when it comes to game mechanics.
I want to buy this game
it looks good.
is it worth getting as it stands now?
12:50 That skill tree concept is freaking awesome! Being able to rotate is really neat.
Does it also be on PS4?
Path is not a competitor to Diablo.Path is demolishing Diablo
Diablo 3 is not even close to be as good as POE.Diablo 3 is for casual ARPG player who don't want any challenge.
Kid, diablo is much more of a challenge than POE. poe is literally the easiest fucking game ive ever played. incredibly boring.
will banger you must of not played much poe d3 is total garbage and everyone wears the same gear and you can be power leveled d3 is shit and very casual vs poe
Seto0019 ok, but what is the highest level you got to in PoE?
you cant even trade in D3 that makes it auto garbage
Any idea of when this game will end beta testing phase?
One thing I would enjoy about the adjustable camera angle.. just being able to look around at a well finished map. Diablo is beautiful but you know they were able to cut corners with their art style. This will give more depth to the worlds in my opinion. Very exciting.
i disagree with the skill points you put in yourself don't add customability. For example in diablo 2 you could build enough strength on a sorc to use storm shield or you could put in less and use a lidless but you'd have less block and less def. if you went with storm shield youd have less dmg but more def. thats just one example of hundreds. that adds a ton of depth to a game, vs not being able to do that and being able to wear any gear u want. of course everyone will go with the best gear available if they dont need to sacrifice something.
Yeah his d2 commentary was way off. Maybe he just understands simplicity easier lol.
Wolcen looking cool but i prefer Diablo3's POTION SYSTEM. Its less annoying.
Maybe make another type of potion that is used as a temporary elixir powerup & goes in another slot next to the health potion, that have a 3-5 min cd. Different types could go as such:
*Diamond Elixir* - Increase armor & resists by 50% for 7 sec.
*Vampiric Elixir* - Gain 25% lifesteal & 10% move speed for 7 sec.
*Giant's Elixir* - Gain 20% health, 10% damage, and grow in size for 7 sec.
*Mongoose Elixir* - Gain 25% move speed & attack speed for 7 sec.
*Master's Elixir* - Gain 10% crit chance & 25% crit dmg for 7 sec.
These elixirs could be very expensive to make or find. They'd be used for the hardest content and go away once used. Use them @ the right time to overcome difficult obstacles. You can only have one Elixir on you at a time.
Nice! Gonna try this game! Hoping from some Wolcen contents this year.
Skill wheel sounds really cool, i got excited about the possibility to be hybrid i allways play melee warriors but i wouldnt mind if i can combine it with some magic
Compete with Diablo 4? Are they not both competing with Path of Exile
+1
how can a tuned down version of poe ever compete with its big brother? lol
PoE is done for if this game keeps the pace it has now
Den DjeinZz no major updates in 2 years? Lol good luck with that pace
Kova it is not everything that is available in the alpha :)
You freely throw around D4.. did i miss a video of yours where D4 was confirmed to being worked on?.. or are you just saying as eventually we will see D4 if it's this year, or 5 years down the road?
2019
Yeah i was thinking that as well.. Didnt make any sense. PoE is way more likely to be its competitor than D4 considering we dont even know when D4 will hit, or even if it will (i think so).
summer 3023
I keep thinking that whenever I hear him mention Diablo 4. He acts like it's a for sure thing
clickbait skills
Has Rhykker ever played the divinity games?
is there any new info on release date?
Playing it since the early access release and it remembers me more of the Sacred titles. Sacred 2 still looks better than most ARPGs today.
Oh man I loved how sacred2 was set up. How secretly deep the customization was even though classes were gender and race locked.
Still have it installed. It crashes every hour or so but well... I never found a game so atmospheric and paradisiac. It was ahead of its time. Some of the developers are working on a similar title. It is called unbended, but I fear that is has been abandoned...
So I am not the only one who feels about Wolcen like Sacred :D
1114elevenfourteen Graphical quality? No sacred 2 is alright, honestly D3 and POE have much better graphical quality than S2.
so the 6 year old AAA game by BLIZZARD looks better than the 10 year old low budget game from a german studio? well done sherlock!
It will be really hard to compete against Path of Exile.
I've been reading steam comments and most of people say that is not getting updated and there are errors that makes you restart your whole computer lol
estimated release date for final release?
Looks awesome! Hope it holds up to its first impression. Love the talent tree :)
I just don't understand how some think less is more here. For me, the more you have going on is always a plus in an arpg.
D3 was just so shallow it didn't take long for me to move on.
Poe is the top arpg for sure.
I haven't played this one so I will withhold judgement.
The tomes are Gems in poe.
The umbra/rage mechanic could be really nice. That's been in many games but I don't recall it in an arpg.
HOWEVER, These guys have been sitting on the EA for while without actually making any real progress since sitting in steam.
Save your $$. Not because its a bad game but because it may never actually be a finished game.
why are there people saying stuff about EA? is it an acronym im not getting or is it literally getting supported by the company EA?
POE has many meta hybrid builds, e.t. chaos is very popular now (int+dex)
wot? he means like a melee with a spell, like in POE if you used sunder with flameblast or something lol, not int+dex...
how do you get an alpha key for the game?
Will this be free to play on the release? :(
With the turn that Diablo:Immortal has taken and my trust in Blizzard shattered, I'll be looking to this game to scratch my ARP itch.
Diablo 4
Most POE players propably wont change to this game because it's not F2P.
Being F2P is the reason many people start with POE but its not the reason they stay. POE has so much content right now it will be very hard to compete with that.
I play POE *ALOT* (Too much in fact), one of their main streamers (ZiggyD) has just burned out and has had to take a break, I am close as well, and I am interested in Splashing some dosh for this.
Does Rhykker know about Lineage Project TL, Lost Ark, and MU Legend?
holy shit this was that game I heard of a while back, Umbra. I remember watching a video talking about how it was going to fail and going no where, but now this looks really good
Really hard to beat Path of exile choices of builds... Poe is based on limitless range of choices based on the skill tree and items. Also the whole gem skills in poe can be mixed aswell. The whole crafting system in poe gives you avalability for the many builds you can come with. Pllayers allways create amazing builds in poe that even the creators of the game didnt notice. :)
There is a very big problem for new classic arpg´s:
GrindingGearGames developed POE so far beyond the edge... there is less chance for a new game of that kind to compare with it. Exception: ARPG`s that dont go very deep, have nice gameplay, lvldesign and grafics, but are very casual.
This would have players but wouldnt be a threat to POE.
Poe now is, for ARPG kind, of what WOW used to be in terms of mmorpg for a very long time. Its hard for younger games to follow that time/content distance.
The only other exception i could imagin is an ARPG that does something completely new and different.
And wolcen does not semm to do that. Anyway... i will try it, like most POE players.
Wolcen is better than diablo 3.
PoE is the creme de Le creme of ARPG.. I’m 30 and I played d1-2-3, I also played WoW vanilla .. This dudes right PoE is the WoW vanilla of ARPG games, it’s f2p w/ no p2w and an endless skill tree, so much depth you can get lost it in for months (and many do)
I shall give this game a whirl but I doubt it will knock PoE off top spot
Tom Atkinson agreed. Everything else is just something to play while you're not playing POE...at least for me.
this rune choice looks like the skillgems with links in poe but limited choices... only thing is the graphics looks better.
I like how Rhykker's character username in this game is a reference to Diablo 3.
How am I just now finding you?! Where have you been all my life Rhykker!!!
I laughed at "overwhelming like path of exile" its not....
compared to diablo and wolcen is would be very overwhelming in a noob's pov
It's not complicated to anyone, it's just stupidly cluttered.
He also stated that it was “overwhelming” for NEW players
it can be overwhelming at first, but it's really simple and clear, you can type and search for nodes, like Spell damage or Attack speed, so you don't need to roam all tree to find one needed point. Also, there are Ascendancy poits, that are very simple to understand. It's complicated only at the first glance. I think, Wolcen's wheel skill tree is much more complicated at this moment.
Keep in mind, if Wolcen does release before Diablo 4, that could be just as bad. That uphill battle PoE had to do helped it become an amazing contender. If Wolcen realese even months before Diablo 4, people may quickly tire of it and suddenly have a new option.
At the end of the day, taking time to perfect the game is always better. Releasing a month or 2 after Diablo 4 may be best honestly, the hype will die down, and all the 'play a month and forget it' players will have moved on from Diablo 4.
Sounds an looks really good is this ganna be on PS4 an have the multiplayer option as well. As loved that in Diablo 3. Love the idea of u design the class as you play sound n looks wickid
so how exactly is it gonna compete with grim dawn?
I came from the future to say that Diablo 4 does not exist and will only come out on mobile devices in a Chinese game copy.
I am in the future to tell you, you were wrong.
Why does he keep mentioning Diablo 4 in his videos and titles when it is yet to be announced? Is he just using shameless clickbait?
Yes and because he doesn't want to admit that PoE is the current top dog in the ARPG genre.
yes
Yes possibly click bait but at the same time not really because Diablo for even though not officially announced, It’s pretty obvious that blizzard it will slowly get their act together to create it. They are not done with Diablo
No it's not. It's because this game will probably come out around the same time as Diablo 4.
If you would have watched like 3 minutes into the video you would already know that.
Rose Phalamy I watched the whole video And know if you pay attention to anything at all you would realize that this Game will be out Way before Diablo 4, In fact this game will be released before Diablo4 is even announced and started in production. If you pay attention to blizzard at all, you will know their patterns and how they do things. By the time Diablo 4 comes out this game will already have its first expansion
I like that you're not locked into a specific class at the start, Play how you want, trying out different stuff, until you build your favorite killing machine. I think I'll be a caster just because those fireballs look freakin' awesome. Looks like a lot of potential so I'll keep an eye on it now.
A video that didn't completely waste my time, you have my subscribe for now! :D
How many times did he say "this is similar to POE" in this video?? Not sure that Diablo 4 is gonna be successful just copying something that already exist and is FREE TO PLAY.
Manuel Rodríguez Fernández Diablo 4 would have something that none of these games will ever have. The name "Diablo". It's a worldwide renowned name and has the world's most incredible base of fans loyal to its name. So don't worry about the success of Diablo.
"Not sure that Diablo 4 is gonna be successful just copying something that already exist and is FREE TO PLAY."
And PoE had the original idea? Generally it is better to improve existing ideas and concepts than to create something own / new which is not fully developed or might not satisfy everyone. Especially Blizzard knows how to extract existing concepts to their own games. Nothing wrong about it.
So without the depth of Path of Exile? Well I wish the dev's the best of luck, but the depth of PoE is one of the reasons why I still play it today.
its also one of the reasons more people dont play it. some people just wanna jump on a game and smash bad guys. not have to do a play through to find out they screwed up on their talent web and have to make a new toon and plan out their new talents so far ahead. huge levels of depth like that are for some and not for others, its not "the superior system". the way i suggest PoE and Grim Dawn is that if youre more of a hardcore gamer, PoE will prob be better for you, and if youre more casual grim dawn maybe better for you.
That is why I mentioned it is the main reason I, as in ME, plays it. I am not bashing the game and even stated I wish the devs the best of luck. People are saying this is competition for PoE, but I don't see it that way. It is more competition for Diablo than anything.
Agreed. PoE is for the nerdiest nerds amongst the ARPG crowd (already one of the nerdiest groups of nerds in the gaming community). The Dev's know it, the players know it, and that's why we all love it so much. It's a game for those of us for whom a spreadsheet simply isnt detailed enough. This looks like a pretty adequate challenger to D3, and I do enjoy D3, but generally for no more than a week or so untill I have completed my character, then back to PoE.
I’m a casual and I play Poe. Are you saying you just want a mind numbing game experience where you don’t have to think at all? Cool.
most people dont have that kind of time.
Thanks man! Cool content you have here. Wish the best for you on your journey!
This looks badass. MY main concern is the items/loot. Runewords and legendaries are a huge reason D2 was so awesome, and still lives on with a small playerbase today. I hope they have a good loot and item system like that.
Yeah the killer of an unannounced game and PoE: Wolcen. A game which stayed in early access for way too long and didn't have notable updates for the better half of 2k17. A true competitor without proper online gaming.
How long was POE in beta? Is it even OUT of beta yet???
Sorry for not answering for so long, but yes Path of Exile is officially released since 23rd October 2013.
TEmpi on september Wolcen Beta
Get rid of the apocalyptic form thing
I already liked this game but you have made me love it with the way you explained everything. Hope they don't mess it up.
guys do you know any good game close to diablo or path of exile but + pvp
Looks nice. Meanwhile, you can play Grim Dawn.
Even though this game seems to have some cool aspects to it, I doubt that it'll take over POE for me.
POE works and it works really well.
They will have to do a whole lot more to be an overall better game with better devs and a better community than POE.
My guess would be that this game won't come close.
Let's see...
One thing i kinda agree with is that the skill tree looks better on paper. As in everyone is a scion ascendant. I say on paper because the skill tree first and foremost has to be interesting. I doubt this could replace PoE for me either. Something in my opinion no RPG can beat Path of exile in is itemization.
I love that your character is named Deckard Cain.
It appears to be single player at the moment, is that correct? If so I don't think it will ever compete with POE, Multiplayer in a game like this is a must for me!
