AYYEEE RHYKKER IM GLAD YOU STILL MAKE VIDEOS! Just got Diablo 4 today so I’m happy to see that my favorite Diablo 3 RUclipsr is gonna be here for me during Diablo 4!!
Found this after getting a druid and sorc to 100. Got really lucky, and found an andy's vis on my druid first. It made leveling the sorc a lot easier, and I'm super excited to try it on a rogue, especially now that I crafted a Ring Of Starless Skies! Thanks for the recommendation!
I basically played one class per season (0 to 4) with my own custom builds. So now that I've played all of them I'll give the Sorc another go, as I found that to be the most fun. I had a frost build last time, so I'm going to try chain lightning this time.
Its just... so dumb? I love Diablo but its just weird how LITTLE builds there actually are lol. If you look at build videos/gameplay from release - it LITERALLY looks the same as the gameplay he's showing in this video, and thats just wild to me.
@@skylerfreeman1173 IDK, as I don't care about "the meta". I play what I find works at the moment for me and quickly lose interest once I hit level 100. Many builds are viable up to that point, even the ones considered mediocre because they can't compete in higher tier activities.
@@skylerfreeman1173yeah I sort of agree but I think they’re so close to having what we want. A lot of variety is there, it’s just not realistic with a few things holding you back. Think of Sorc attack options for example. Ice Shards, blizzard, orb, fire bolt, meteor, fireball (expected), chain lightning, incinerate… all awesome variety that gets ruined because of the requirement to fill our action bar with defensive spells otherwise we’ll be 1 hit. A few targeted improvements could make a huge impact. I hope Blizzard pays attention to the community.
Just remember people , this is current opinions/metrics. The meta will definitely shift 1 week after the launch of season 5. PTR did not allow for proper testing. Just play what feels right and have fun !

What happend?, ohhh i remember people. Barbarian and Socerer are THE BEST CHARACTER and high in tier list, speed farm, endgame...
Yeah, Druid flamed out quick for the most part. Necro wasn't bad though. Depends on the absolute end game, which I don't think anyone really can figure out until the gear/levels/paragon are sort out. Just too many variables.
I'm so excited for this season! I'm going to start off as a Sorc, probably going conjurer with lightning focus again to see how much further I might be able to take it!
My favourite time so far playing D4 was with Wudijo's Flurry/Rapid Fire hybrid rogue build. It was because of that build that I now main a rogue each season, and I miss it. All melee or all ranged just isn't the same as constantly switching back and forward between the two while dancing all over the room
It's always interesting to see how peoples tier lists can vary. For me personally , I will never have Rogue at the top of my list. There is just something about the mechanics with it that puts me off, and I have fully leveled it multiple seasons but not every one. I'll see if I like this time.
Dude rabies+pet druid feels like a blessing from when i tried it on release, absolutely insane burst dmg and rabies as is your clear skill feels incredible to level, hope everyone else is having a blast
Sooo I have accidently found a build that works really good on druid. Im going to dub it a "werewolf Cannon" The idea is realy simple. I have had up to 6 wolves and the numbers i see are almost always way higher, per wolf. This build is not optimal at all but it is extremely functional when used with the Spirit Boon 'Pack Leader' Rapid fire. Leveling 1-50 was smooth, 50-60 feels slow but im mostly unlocking stuff, but i have yet run into something that takes more that two shots that I didnt just miss. I feel like the Unique pants "Storm's Companion" + some sort of synergy with lightning would make the wolf active a mega fireball effect but i havnt been able to squeeze it in yet. Getting there. I plan to try a hydra-firewall sorcerer with X'fal's Corroded Signet. Hydra got a damage buff to 18% and the burn damage went from 60% base to 100% base. they added a tempering manual to increase the number of hydra heads, doubled on two handed, so you can have 8 headed hydras. then you have the hydra legendary that lets you summon a third one where they also last longer, and the enchantment for hydra. firewall also got a damage buff to 230% from 160% at rank 1 so that is going to feel good using considering its one of my favorite skills, just filling the entire battlefield with firewalls. if i really wanted to go full Rykard from Elden Ring i could also use Andariel's with the build to try seeing how many poison novas i can trigger, which will also trigger X'fal's ring from time to time. but the hydra swarm is my main focus to start with, seeing how well they perform. i then want to try Cataclysm Nature's Fury Druid. I want to use landslide and tornado with Storm gives earth crit damage, earth gives storm crit chance, while the new unique gives me unlimited spirit and a big damage boost during Cataclysm, where i will try to have it up as much as possible. Cataclysm has always been my favorite ultimate due to how cool it looks and how it passively does damage while you can attack with other things, and im glad it finally got a power associated with it specifically for me to play around with
I'd put the venom wolf druid build I'm running flat out against any other build. Best DOT output of any build I've seen and the play style is pretty similar to the minion necro in season 4
I’ve made a Flay Barb but done my own variant. Still working on it trying some different pieces of gear. So far so good. Resists are all maxed, about 35k health but needs a touch more survivability. Cleared 81 pit (did higher last season) A Shako should be best in slot for my build.
After YEARS of watching Rhykker videos, I have finally obtained the uber rare, uber unique, uber unicorn: The sight of Rhykker's hair. Majestic. Absolutely majestic.
Thanks! Interesting. I'll start Sorc (Hype), probably add a Rogue (Crit Temps) and end up with a GigaChadBarb because it will 'actually' be able to kill bosses...
Serious question… I’ve been waiting until they add a bunch of content like season 3 was the last time I logged on. Have they added content and is it a full game at this point or is it still a patchwork money grab for cosmetics?
I don't understand why everyone deem druid as the worst from 1-50. You can pretty quickly run a Shred build, and get the spirit resupplied with the right aspects. Maybe people miss, that you just keep the shred button down, and he will zoom from target to target. In Helltide, that zoom never ends, and he levels insanely fast. Just get resource aspects, Werewolf tempers, and all the attackspeed you can find. Durid is fast AF.
I always wanted to play sorc in d4. Never sticked to it above lvl 40 because it just felt so extremely different to d3 sorc. I might start with one now and enjoy the well deserved buffs
Loved the "Invincible" clip trolling all the slow Necros -lol. Definitely going for a fireball Sorc build first - I've never used that staff (Endless Rage) even though it's the unique I've found the most whenever I've played that class. Also interested in doing something with a Rogue - the new aspect giving all basic skills Frost imbue is interesting and I think there's potential there with that (especially if you can pair it with a well-rolled Azurewrath). Great stuff...good luck with the new season! =^-^=
I'm going with Chain Lightning Sorcerer for Season 5. I played Chain Lightning Sorcerer in Season 1 and it sucked. I'm hoping the stat rebalances and new uniques give Sorcerer the performance boost it needs.
As a casual player, I'll stick with a Barb because, simply, it's what I know. I don't have the time, or the desire, to learn the mechanics of a different build. I'll leave that to the serious players.
Season 4 was my first real play since the beta test. I went crazy and leveled all the classes. Then pushed out 2 more necros to see the builds. (Pet, blight, bone spirit) I'll start Necro pet. We will see where that leads, drops dictate play.
I haven't played a serious Sorc since S2 I believe. My favorite all around D4 class so yeah, I'll start there. Buddy is doing chain lightening to start....so I might hammer out firewall. Should be a decent combo. Looking forward to this season and then of course the expansion. Let's go!
Oh, I'm playing Sorc next season. I played Spirit Bomb Necro in S3, Anduriel's Visage Flurry/Puncture Rogue in S4, and that means it is time to go back to Sorc for S5. I might try an Anduriel's Visage Chain Lightning or Fireball Sorc. If I can stack enough Attack Speed, Lucky Hit, and all damage multipliers, I think it could pop off.
A new class every season would've been a fantastic way for they're dated seasonal characters method to make it more enjoyable and time worthy playing new classes each season and leveling them up instead of the same fuppin character every time
First is rogue - stun grenade/shadow clone. some of the new powers look fun with it. If it doesn't work or want to try something wild... Arrow Storm cause of the new powers and uniques that add to it.
I will be going melee rogue, just like I do every season. I've never been arranged player, and I like the go fast. I feel like spirit-born is going to replace the melee rogue and finally realize the fantasy I have wanted all this time better than the rogue will. I suspect rogue will be the ranged physical class going forward after the expansion.
Pure minion Necro speed farms just fine, when you pair it with a Thorns. Everything just melts around you, even at high level play, your lack of mobility skills is made up by the fact that you are much more free to just walk around without losing dps. When you max your minions numbers, pick up needleflare & razor plate it's a map wipe non stop aoe. Tormented bosses take one swipe at your minions & commit a sewer-slide on them. 10% proc on razor plate across 20 plus minions means it procs constantly, needleflare at 80% across all minions even if only one gets hit. The best part is your not as dependant on mythics as other necro specs, so you get more breathing room on RNG on their drops. The biggest issue is scaling thorn stats, since unlike barb your thorn passive doesn't tie raw thorn increases to a main stat (health) but you still get damage bonus from Intellect. If you work long hours and need an easy farmer, I would put Minion/Thorn necro in S tier, now if you want something that's super engaging to play then yeah it would be B tier because your literally just walking around looting while casting a channel every 3 seconds to keep thorns at max and to gain move speed.
Oooo nice hairdo my dude :) Okay now actually going to watch the video :D edit: Think I'll go sorc because I'm curious how it feels now with the buffs and there's a bunch of builds that look really good that I want to try. Bit tempted still to make a necro first because it's just so easy to start out on, you don't really need any specific gear to have minions just work and I am also curious about the new minion AI and the jumping golem... But since sorc is supposed to get chain lightning gear from the season quest, I think I'll be okay there, probably just going to do that. And I'll probably end up leveling all classes to 100 again, so it's really just a matter of what order do I do them in.
I usually go for the lowest tier classes because I usually like playing classes that people don't like playing. So I'll go for Necro this time, although I thought was going to go for the Sorcerer because magicks is my main pick.
Great Vid, thanks. Noooo clue what to play. Probably one of each. Made literally everything last season leveling was so fast. Didn't push any high-high content though honestly... I like the journey more... LOL 🙃 Just gotta get to 100, then figure out what to play.
I have 2k hours on rogue in D3. Fav buils were s1 ball lightning with perfect atk speed on my gear, spin to win, and multishot. I was also the OP person to dye my Andarials visage black with Bul Kathos shoulders, posted it to reddit, and alot of rogues copied it lol. I just can't get into them in D4. Had my fill of Necro, I only like WW Bard... gonna do Sorc I think.
Bash Barb. It cleared 110 pit(high enough for me) and smoked every Tormented boss with ease. Speed runs wasn’t an issue. My wife is hitting 315k before buffs and I was at 204k before buffs. Bash all day.
@@DarkKnight-767 Nope, they nerfed barbs all around. I’ll still make one and see how it goes. :-) I’m just rolling one up to burn while I read through the notes. :) “Bash Adjusted functionality: After bashing enemies 4 times, your next Bash will Clobber, Stunning enemies for 1.5 seconds. Clobber twice as often while using a Two-Handed weapon. Enhanced Bash Adjusted functionality: Clobbering an enemy grants you 20% Maximum Life as Fortify. Battle Bash Adjusted functionality: Clobbering an enemy generates an additional 10 Fury.” Ezpz
I played Necro in last season. Personally, I dislike minion build (minions auto attack everything and reduces my presence to that of a spectator). Druid was fun (Werebear build) (trying storm build this season really fun so far), . Barbarian has similar gameplay to my druid (Berserker/thorn build) (going to try walking arsenal this season).
5:41 I played all the classes in season 5, lvl 100. I completely disagree, my druid cataclysm / thunder reach lvl 100 in less than 2 days and I really wasn't pushing. At lvl 50 I could easily go to T4 without help. Now I have a build that routinely kill any uber boss (landlslide storm). 6:43 Sorcerer absolutely not. My first lvl 100 perso at the beginning of the game was a sorcerer. Love the class. Then it went nerf completely. In season 5, you reasonably climb to lvl 30 in less than an hour, but then everything get slow. I had to give my sorcerer a doombring at lvl 35 to actually improve its xp farming. The slowest of all classes in season 5. Even necro was a lot better with blood surge
P.s. The druid is okay. A problem is the werewolf. This is the poorest type of druid. There is no full-fledged build for the Rabies, the Shred is weak although rich in options, the Lacerate is weak + no variety (only physical or storm), for the Blood howl there is only one build with a mace. Only the claws remain. I don’t count storm-wolf's skills like tornado, hurricane and lightning storm using the helmet.

Man, I really want a meteor build to rise up to the top. Feels like how long we had to wait for the Carnevil build on the WD to come back in D3 :P
As a casual player, I'll stick with a Barb because, simply, it's what I know. I don't have the time, or the desire, to learn the mechanics of a different build. I'll leave that to the serious players.
Same although I’m getting pretty good at barb. I have 5 Ubers now
Same also. I’m sticking with my Landslide Druid. 😊
Think, I'll try Sorc/Barb that season, never played them yet! ;) Thanks 4 the nice Tier List!
Season 4 was my first real play since the beta test. I went crazy and leveled all the classes. Then pushed out 2 more necros to see the builds. (Pet, blight, bone spirit) I'll start Necro pet. We will see where that leads, drops dictate play.
I want that hair-shaped hat too!
I haven't played a serious Sorc since S2 I believe. My favorite all around D4 class so yeah, I'll start there. Buddy is doing chain lightening to start....so I might hammer out firewall. Should be a decent combo. Looking forward to this season and then of course the expansion. Let's go!
First tier list i agree with. Good Job. rhykker
Rhykker lookin like my necro on the customization screen
Definitely going to level an incinerate sorc first. Was good fun in S4
A new class every season would've been a fantastic way for they're dated seasonal characters method to make it more enjoyable and time worthy playing new classes each season and leveling them up instead of the same fuppin character every time
Never got Druid to level 100so far ...
So i gues i owe them to at least try in last season with level 100. :D
We love you, Ryker your hair is everything right now its giving French royalty vibes
First is rogue - stun grenade/shadow clone. some of the new powers look fun with it. If it doesn't work or want to try something wild... Arrow Storm cause of the new powers and uniques that add to it.
They also need to rework the passive talent tree and to close build holes in aspects. Paragon boards are also scarce.
Hair on point in this video, jealous!
When I saw you weren't wearing your hat I knew the tier change situation was serious
I was baited into Druid last season. The tornado was one the clunkiest build I ever played that struggled with spirit in ST fights.
Excited to get back to a Rogue this season!
Rogue is finally back!
4:03 had me in tears
It’d be nice if you put the tier list in the video description
Oooo nice hairdo my dude :) Okay now actually going to watch the video :D
edit: Think I'll go sorc because I'm curious how it feels now with the buffs and there's a bunch of builds that look really good that I want to try.
I think you may have misspoke about Barbarian Bash vs Flay. Bash will be the better speedfarm build.
Great Vid, thanks. Noooo clue what to play. Probably one of each. Made literally everything last season leveling was so fast. Didn't push any high-high content though honestly... I like the journey more... LOL 🙃 Just gotta get to 100, then figure out what to play.
I'm hoping druid will do well lol, I haven't played one yet and that's the one I want to start with this season
Yay been waiting for this
I always wanna roll rogue but I always feel pushed into melee, so I’m happy range is looking better. I still may go Sorc however
I have 2k hours on rogue in D3.
Do you have any plans on ever making a build tierlist like you did in d3 id love to see that for d4 seasons
Hm... Bleed builds are going to be pretty well. Sounds like a nice rend/rupture potential for Barbs. And for the Lulz I'm gonna try melee necro.
I already planned to finally max out a sorc this season and I've been meaning to redo my main rogue so that also works out
Bash Barb. It cleared 110 pit(high enough for me) and smoked every Tormented boss with ease. Speed runs wasn’t an issue. My wife is hitting 315k before buffs and I was at 204k before buffs. Bash all day.
Saw the bash cleave nerf?
@@DarkKnight-767 Nope, they nerfed barbs all around. I’ll still make one and see how it goes. :-) I’m just rolling one up to burn while I read through the notes. :)
“Bash
Adjusted functionality: After bashing enemies 4 times, your next Bash will Clobber, Stunning enemies for 1.5 seconds. Clobber twice as often while using a Two-Handed weapon.
Enhanced Bash
Adjusted functionality: Clobbering an enemy grants you 20% Maximum Life as Fortify.
Battle Bash
Adjusted functionality: Clobbering an enemy generates an additional 10 Fury.”
Ezpz
@@Boneyard250”bash cleave” nerf is what i was talking about. The tempering augment
@@DarkKnight-767 ohhhh yes, that is shit too. But when you stack it on 4 weapons it’s all gravy. It won’t be as powerful but it will do the trick. 😎
@@Boneyard250 yea I have a bash now and was sad to see that. Flay will probably be good too
Chain sorc for sure. I need something quick and easy to blast through shorter season. Probably will alt for rouge later if I would have time.
Please make a wardrobe like on d3 for changing your equip and your paragon board instantly… and make just pay the nodes in the board only one time
I played Necro in last season.
Rhykker without a hat? sacrilege!
My love/hate relationship with Druid will go in to the next round.
I must find a way to make a pure melee Druid work in endgame, no excuses!
I did ranged rogue for season 4, don't want to do it again (even though it's a lot of fun) so I'll just go druid.
I’ll never stop playing Necro regardless of season metas. The class fantasy is S tier compared to every other class
That hair... LIVES...
I have been waiting for this!
Rhykker w/o a hat? Me too.
thanks my friend and i already subscribe you. keep it up
Season 4 druid I was running circles around alot of other classes with my build speed farm super fast and 1-2 shot bosses WT-4 lvl100
Anytime I do not play a rogue i get bored, so there's your answer.
Sorry if it’s a dumb question - the mouse pointer ring with trail you have in this vid, is it a setting in D4 or a plugin of some sort?
I think it’s just setting force move to your mouse wheel so you just scroll instead of clicking
