ROB!!!! Great video!! Anytime I can mix fire and booze, I'm all in!!!!!!
Grilling and drinking is where it’s at!
Ooooh..this looks good! Love the grilled mango and Jalapeños. Great addition to a spicy cocktail!
Thanks! It was a last minute addition! I was grilling so I figured why not grill the mango!
@@RobsHomeBar Good call!
The grilled mango and jalapeno is such a nice touch!
It definitely adds a nice flavour
Did the mango nectar, simple syrup, Cointreau and mango soda make the drink a bit on the sweeter side? Was balanced out by the smoke and spice? Sounds really good!!
Totally didn’t need the syrup and Cointreau gets buried so yea leave those out
But it wasn’t too sweet.. it was really good
We love using mango nectar! It provides such a sweet creaminess to drinks. And, that flip made the drink! Hope you’re having a great week.
Thanks! Guava nectar also makes amazing drinks!
Hold up. 800 subs, thats like 80% of a thousand!!! Champagne on me!!!!
Cheers! Thanks Tim!
Yes, very impressive, Barefoot Boy!
Uhhh will try that 🙌🏻
It was really good!
I love jalapeño and mango in salsa and sounds great in a margarita.
haha, I never eve thought of that! LOL it's definitely a winning combo!
@@RobsHomeBar Riley makes it for her fish tacos. You can come to Iowa for dinner some night.

Very nice Rob, Some really great flavors in this.
Thanks David! You should try this one, I think you'll really like it!
Omg this sounds amazing! Love the grilled aspect of it. Congrats on 800!!
thanks! it was a rough weekend, I went to 800 about 5 times then back down to 799.. like it was teasing me! LOLOL... I love grilling fruits and veg, and figured, why not add that flavor to the drink! Cheers!
@@RobsHomeBar lol. My numbers were fluctuating too. Who takes the time to unsubscribe?!? 😂
@@TheWeePearl lol I know right? ...I think it's also RUclips doing a periodic purge of inactive or fake accounts.. just sucks that it happens right before hitting a milestone! LOL
You pushed all my buttons.. also that jarrrrrrrrrrrrito 😊
Love Jarritos!! This drink was really really good!
I love it! Grilled jalapeno and grilled mango sound so interesting! So many flavours in there! It looks do delicious!
Thanks Lele! It’s definitely a flavor bomb!
Woooow @Rob’s Home Bar is cooking it up!!! This looks amazing!! Might be too spicy for me but I still wanna try it!
It actually wasn't too bad with 3 jalapeno slices, the grilling does mellow the spiciness slightly.. but you can always just use 1 or 2 slices :)
"Honey what are you doing outside at the BBQ I asked for a margarita you walked right by the bar cart!"
"Working on it!!!!"
:D
does sound great though
hahaha.. it was actually a last minute decision.. I had planned to film a mango margarita but then I was grilling supper.. and had a thought!
Damn, that looks awesome, Rob! Mango nectar was a nice touch, (and the mezcal)!
How do you make the popping noise on the word balloons?
Thanks Ray! It's just a pop sound I found on the internet... just do a search for "pop sound"
Thanks, Rob. I still want to check out all your video producing stuff, but lack of time prevents me. It's tough watching other peoples' stuff right now and I'm sure most people don't understand that.
Great watch👍 I had here✔💥 Thank You!!😎✌ This video is well prepared and captivating👌💪 cool BIG LIKE from me 👍👍👍I am looking forward to your next upload. Greetings from South Africa and it is almost the weekend I hope there will be time to work on your next video 🎉🤞
Thanks!
Looks amazing - would possibly consider substituting the simple and Cointreau for a splash of agave syrup, in order to bring that touch of sweetness and to complement the tequila and mezcal? Not sure if that would work, but overall this is a great video!
Good idea but it might not even be needed.. the syrup didn’t add much and the Cointreau is totally buried under the other ingredients! Next time I make this, I’ll just leave those two out
Looks good! What kind of mango nectar did you use?
I use the Del Monte nectars
That rim though! SO much flavour packed into one drink, we're kinda late in Ireland to the mezcal game but feeling inspired to try out these smokey variations. This one was a real 'ooooh wonder how it's gonna turn out' with the charred mango and jalapeño but it sounds like you loved it and the flavour came through!
Yes we don’t have a great Mezcal selection here, this one is only 1 of 3 that I’ve tried but it has a nice smokiness to it. The drink really came together! Although the simple syrup and Cointreau were definitely not needed
@@RobsHomeBar Yeah that was an interesting point you made in the video, suppose it's a pretty subtle and dry liqueur compared to some of the bigger flavours!
@@DrinkInDigital yea I didn’t think twice about it because orange liqueur is standard for a margarita but when I tasted it.. it’s so buried beneath all the other flavours that you could totally just omit it.
This looks awesome! So many good ingredients. Will definitely give this a try. I wonder if pineapple would work if mango wasn't available? Too sweet?
Pineapple would probably work great! Definitely leave out the simple syrup and even the Cointreau (it got buried anyways)
Oh wow the grilled mango and jalapeno sound mindblowingly delicious!! Thanks for this beauty Rob!! Cheers!! :-) P.S. I have some lovely ripe mangos!! I don't like too much sweetness so I think I can skip the simple syrup.

Thanks buddy!
P.S. I hope Odin has had a lovely portion of bacon!!
