      I have been watching Anders videos and heard him mention your channel. I enjoyed this comparison, but I will say that using Grand Marnier makes a great Grand Marnier cocktail with Tequila. I prefer Cointreau or a really good Triple Sec (not the $7 version) to make a Tequila cocktail. The GM version is good, but I find the GM overwhelms the Don Julio, which is my favorite sipping Tequila as well.

    I prefer silver tequilas for margaritas. The camel coloring added to the dark tequilas for the purposes of adding color, adds a mildly bitter taste, which I feel is an unnecessary additional flavor. I feel the darker tequilas are best for sipping or shots. I also always add agave for sweetness. Since both tequila and agave sweeteners are made from agave, they pair much better than sugar based sweeteners. Of course, what tastes better is completely subjective and can obviously differ from person to person. When we lived in Houston, we absolutely loved DeKuyper O3 Premium Orange Liqueur. Unfortunately, I haven’t been to find it in the Los Angeles area. Loved your video!!!

    To be fair....the Grand Marnier is actually adding Cognac along with the orange liquer...which itself is another ingredient modifier. PF is infact closer to Cointreau than Grand. Your pallet probably needs that 4th and maybe 5th ingredient (more sugar) to be considered "good". Each person will be slightly different.

    Nice vid, GM is great...but giving two spots to the orange liquors that added the most sugar seems questionable. Sugar deficit should be made up with something like Agave syrup, not liquor.

    * 2 ounce Casamigos Reposado Tequila
    * 1 ounce Grand Marnier
    * 1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
    * 1/4 ounce or 1/2 ounce Blue Agave Syrup

    Triple sec = "sure" if nothing else available
    Cointreau = all around 5/5 essential liqueur in ANYone's home(bar). This is the shit.
    Grand Marnier = for big dick players. More expensive and "rarer" in cocktail use, but totes worth it.
    Dry Curacao = AFAIK the rarest of the bunch. Rarely to be seen in bars.

    I think it depends on the drink and nice to have a choice. I found the Pierre Ferrand the best choice for Mai Tai's, Cointreau for different drinks or regular sidecars, and triple sec when it doesn't matter.
    Patron even makes an orange curacao called Citronage that works good in margaritas and I used in a few videos.
