  • Recorded with my Line 6 studio gear. Bass is 50% DI 50% B15 software, and 2db compression. Voice is Shure SM58 thru FX1 noise-gate, American classic preamp, reverb processor set to brite room, and 2db compression.

    What I like about short scales is how even the sound is through the range and the strings. I have a Hofner Club, it is my only short scale bass, but it is constantly falling apart. I love it still though. I would love to try the JMJ!

    Wow..What a great pokey sound! I had a 1968 Mustang for a few years. So good for the singing bass player The size makes it easy to jump around with, and the Mustang really pops out of the mix.
