A 50G POUCH OF GOLDEN VIRGINIA HAND ROLLING TOBACCO HERE IN THE UK IS £34.00 THIS YEAR I STARTED TO GROW MY OWN. ANY ADVICE AS TO WHAT VARIETY I SHOULD GROW NEXT FOR A MEDIUM STRENGTH SMOKE LIKE GOLDEN VIRGINIA WOULD BE GREAT. I'VE JUST GROUND UP A LITTLE THAT WAS READY BUT ITS VERY WEAK. I'M GROWING GOLDEN VIRGINIA BUT I UNDERSTAND I SHOULD BLEND IT WITH OTHERS TO GET A STRONGER TASTE. IS THAT RIGHT?
Hi variety doesnt affect the taste much its the way its treated/fermented after u grow the plants that affect 95% of the flavor. Sun curing is no option in our climates but we can ferment the leaves into a very dark colored leave by piling them in towels and shifting the leaves once or twice a day for two weeks untill they smell sweet and are almost black in color to mix in with ur other leave for a more complex taste
I grow my own . Best cigarettes I have smoked were my own homegrown . There’s no “reconstituted” tobacco in my homegrown . Commercial cigarettes are around 50 percent recon tobacco. Basically everything you shouldn’t smoke on a tobacco plant (stems veins and poor quality leaf that is half eaten by bugs) or scraps that fall on the floor is liquified and a bunch of chemicals to help “smooth” the flavor and increase nicotine absorption. They spray the liquid garbage tobacco onto a roller and cut it up and pretend it’s tobacco. That’s most likely where 90 percent of the carcinogens come from. I’ll stick to my own homegrown. Just DO NOT SELL IT ! Cause that will get you a charge from the atf .
Funny, that I found tobacco sorts to grow are so good, it's impossible to buy comparable for any money. Still, I prefer to grow tomatoes and melons (those are also better, than those in shops).
Guys we are being denied to buy tobacco in South Africa during the covid lockdown. It is illigal to sell tobacco. We can't buy tobacco legally. I have Virgina gold and Black Sea Turkey but I don't have clue about how to gorw it. I made some seadlings. They are just speouting. But I dont know how much to tobacco can yeild (100 plants can yield.) I need enough tobacco to last me a whole season. I am just learning as I go along. What climates does tobacco grow in, should I do it indoors winter or will it be fine outdoors? I need to figure out how to ferment tobacco as well. Any advise will be appreciated. Wish it was ganja. It just grows so much easier.

Where did you get that audio track?? Badass!!
Friking awsome thanks for the info!!🙏
I'd like to know how much 100 plants yield. Also, if you're thinking about quitting it's so much easier to quit pipe tobacco.
Good for you
I like your tobacco press ...

Kudos to her.
That being said - smoking cigarettes for 20+ years was a terrible mistake I regret. I took Chantix to quit about 12 years ago.
Whatever you have to do to stop smoking - do it.
We do this in Philippines too. but we roll it on dried java plum leaves no chemicals just pure organic
love the bird.. gonna grow my own next year. too late this year to start a crop in Canada
New York eh? I live in WA and want to try this. I'm thinking starting inside in Feb. Any tips and advise would be greatly appreciated.
She's amazing. Like the founding fathers of this country
In Australia it's $40 for a decent pack of cigarettes (25) I'm trying to grow my own, keep in mind 1 plant is enough for 5 packets of cigarettes, she's growing 100 plants that summer so ur looking at 500 packets of cigarettes.
Good lord...do you even get to vote on this crap or is it just unilaterally imposed? How in the world have they been allowed to do this in Australia?
@@drh20982 dollars a pack of malboros here in australia now.
That is 35USD a packet.
The government outlaws growing of personal tobacco aswell.
Big daddy government loves to stomp the boot onto the neck of its citizens so hard. Most aussies love it though. We are very apathetic. And no, we have no say. No voting. Nothing. What the politicians want they get. Like the vaccines. If you dont take the vaccine you WILL loose your job.
I'm standing up for myself by quitting. I just started chantix yesterday. Wish me luck.🤞🏻
Good for her, she looks really healthy.
Lolllll don't lie
Brett Allen But she does... Fucking idiot.
This lady is great!
Anything that sticks it to the nanny state, I'm all for.
That is really cool that lady took the Marijuana method.
GROW YOUR OWN.
This is awesome!! I live in socal and we have similar political climates. I too was a smoker, and was tired of this taxation, and regulations for something that is legal. Its tactics that stem from the same people that is we cant stop you but lets make it really hard so you’ll quit. Then we can say we helped you. Pissing down my neck and telling me its a warm shower i say. Im glad you empowered yourself and stuck it to the real “man” , the political side that plays these games and are only getting worst.
What is the music being played?

Also it is free from added chemicals. I have been smoking for almost 4 years now, i´m in my second grow and i feel a lot better, my lungs have recovered quiet a bit. It might kill me some day, i ain´t paying a tax on that.
I have wondered why more people don't do this... right on!
Bless you Audrey .subscribed of course.
Very cool i always wanted to grow my own wraps
I totally get it. They tax the hell out of us I chew to Copenhagen myself and they tax it bad in Minnesota. 12 a can 11 for pack Marlboro
