The amount of ventilation from this design while maintaining durability is incredible! Hopefully this setup becomes standard for hard court tennis shoes.

I'm learning a lot about how shoes work and the effects of athletic movements on the feet, ankles, knees, etc. by watching these videos in addition to the basketball and running shoes on the main FDZ channel. Tennis isn't a sport I'm very familiar with, but I'm still getting a lot out of watching these. And I might want to play some pickleball in the future so getting the inside scoop on what makes a good shoes for both sports definitely feels like an advantage.

Was “like I said” a drinking game I missed out on?!? Seriously tho - I ended up w 4 pairs of a shoe you suggested last year and loved - they saved my tootsies. These aren’t released yet, but will hopefully be able to try them out! I’m a pb player - and teaching pro - who’s told many about your channel. Appreciate you!

@@footdoctorzachdubbs Thanks! I’m at 192-195, therefore the Head Motion Pro might not be the best shoe. My go to pickleball shoes are Mizuno Wave Enforcer (but can’t find stock currently) and Nike Zoom Vapor 11. Tried Asics Gel Res and Court FF, but toe box too narrow :( Thanks again.

I have an issue with my left foot where i need sole to feel firm. Any cushioning under foot irritates it. So Skechers didn't work. Been using yonex eclipsion 4 for a while but want to try something different. Yonex have been great for my knee so afraid to change but...

With the 'pickleball' label on these shoes, you think Head will make a tennis version (or even clay version)?

What does toebox taper degree mean? The lower degree = more room in the toe box?
For example after watching your sole match control 2 video with 21 deg toebox taper vs. Head Motion pro with 9 deg toebox taper, does this mean that Head Motion pro has a roomier toebox?

    Hey, Doc
My feet sweat a lot to the point that I have to bring a second pair of shoes. It's like a swimming pool in my shoes and I leave slippery sweat from my shoes on the pickleball court. I've already slipped. Is there anything I can do about this?
