I am curious if you have play tested the Montis Drop 1.0 Pickleball shoes? They are definitely the most comfortable and durable pickleball sneakers I have used so far by a pretty wide margin.
Done it again Zach. Thank you. I been picking up pickleball. I've been wondering about tennis vs pickleball shoes. Again I use your video for researching shoes. My favorite part of all your videos is the break down and dissection analysis of shoes. It gives so much information. Even your recommendation for play style.
Thanks for the list. I still wish you would review the Montis Drop 1.0, Winners Edge P-38 Lightning, Tyrol Drive V, and other pickleball specific shoes. I will have to check out the new Head shoe.
I’m a barricade man. I love the love profile of it. So much court feel. But, I suppose, it might be worth it to try out something a little more forgiving. I’ve been noticing knee pain after matches lately
I used to be a competitive nationally ranked Squash player in my youth and from my layman perspective, the motions in pickleball are quite similar except for the exaggerated lunges in Squash. Consequently, I am surprised that none of the leading Squash shoes are mentioned ?
Hey Zach, really love the videos! Sorry if you’ve already answered this, but I loved the video you made on the Wade Shadow 6 and was wondering if you would put that shoe up in front of the AC 12 on this list?
I am a avid pickleball player for 1 year now and play 6x a week. Since October 2023 I have been using Lining low cut basketball shoes and they are super awesome for pickleball. I started off with lining Fusion 8 and immediately fell in love with them. Since then I literally have 14 pairs of Lining low cut basketball shoes that I swap out everyday 😂. I really do 😂. From all city 11 to Liren 3, superlight 2022, Shudder, Liren 3 V2. I recommend any Lining shoes with "TUFF OS" outsoles because they last longer. I love all the pairs I got from them and had zero break-in period. They fit true to size . If I was to rank them: These are all the low cut models 1. Shudder 1(tie). Liren 3 V2 2. Superlight 2022 I chose those 3 because the Toe box is a tad wider and they stop the callus on pinkie toes that the other shoes caused. I will get a pair of Fission 9 soon and I'm looking forward to it. I have not got them yet because the colors are boring😂😂. Liren 4 V2 look 🤤🤤😍😍. Lining Gamma 1 are 🔥🔥 but waaayyy over price 😂
Please, please, please. Suggest a top pickleball shoe that comes in a 2E. I need a wide toe box. The barricade 13 no longer makes a wide, and neither does the New Balance TWO WXY v4.
btw Thank you for the recommendation I purchased the Diadora Blushield Torneo 2, can the Torneo 2 be used for pickleball? Will you be reviewing the the upcoming Lotto Raptor Hyperpulse 2 100
Hello @Foot doctor Zach, glad you validated that 361 quick 5.0 would be good for piclleball... as soon as I saw the 4.0 heel support... and nice improvements to 5.0 My question would be in general, as a child I was told that every shoe I should buy should have atleast a half inch extra for the toes... do you still have to look for that when buying for a rubber shoe? Cheers!
Great Information! Which of these shoes will last more than 3 months though? I've tried almost all the mentioned in this video and I keep going back to the Jet Mach 3 but they just don't last.
@@footdoctorzachdubbsI just bought the Yonex E5 based on your review, for mainly indoor court pickleball. Its brand new so the traction is perfect (the traction will release when the weight is off) not like the ascic gel game that feel like glue instead of rubber. Almost trip over them because they were so sticky and would not release fast enough.
@@footdoctorzachdubbsthanks for the reply! I’ve been wearing them for 3 months but have developed some painful plantar fasciitis that I just can’t shake (constant pickle doesn’t help😂). Was considering the Jet Mach 3 based on your review, but not sure it’ll help until the fasciitis heals. Currently trying the CURREX pickleball insert to see if that’ll help more than my go-to Superfeet green.
I like playing PB in stability running shoes with a wide tow box due to comfort and cushioning...but I blow through shoes in 4 weeks. What should I try? Jet Mach 3 feel descent. Any suggestions?
@@footdoctorzachdubbs so true...I did not mean it in a bad way...I love your channels...my bad on incorrectly spelling your name. Corrected your name. hahaha
I have been trying to find the New Balance two way V4 in a wide, but they are all sold out. What is a good pickleball shoe with a wide Toe box? I have had surgery on both of my feet and I desperately need a wide pickleball shoe. Thank You
I like the babolat jet maxh 3 wides. Colors very limited though. Tbh I don’t have wide feet but I like the added toe box room since I usually wear more minimalist shoes. Babolats are super comfortable.
My 10-month-old pair of AG-LT 23 light just now cracked on the bottom. Does the Ultra compare? I did find the sock like insert to be favorable of the light model.
Actually more room can lead to axial sliding which is what causes tennis/ runners toe so you want to be more locked in up there- I add add adhesive felt under the tongue or vamp to stop sliding
Hi Zack I prefer a show that is lower to the ground and dont really like high thick shoes......I play mostly pickleball singles and compete in tournaments so speed is important but also FEEL and softness as well since I tore a peroneous longus tendon and have a bit of achilles tendonitis.....😂😂..All good though. The Adidas Solecourt boost was the best shoe for me. So I am looking for something similar. I tried asics and other shoes and nothing comes close. Would you be so kind to provide your thoughts on the GP Challenge 1 Vs the PRO. Thanks in advance.

I played tennis for many years and now I play pickleball and had tons of great shoes but the ASICS resolution 9 are by far the best.
Why did the Asics Gel Resolution 9 leave your list?

I play in my old WOW 808 3s and they are perfect for indoor and outdoor. The rubber has held up great. Fantastic performance for the $
Thanks to your recommendation, Lacoste remains my number 1 tennis shoe
Please do reviews for padel shoes! Can be tennis shoes that you would recommend for padel or shoes that are made for padel
Got a pair of Acacia Dinkshot pickleball shoes, they're so good! Nice wide toe box, finally!

Loved the barricades but the ball of foot pain and knee pain made me switch to the vapor 11s

Would love to see a review of the NB 996v6 pickleball shoe.
It’s the 996v5 with a different name

Awesome video Zach! Can u plz review the Montis pickleball shoe? A very popular shoe- curious what the doc will say 🧐🤙
Hope you can also review Montis Drop 1.0
Ive used them - theyre ok
@@footdoctorzachdubbs How would you rate it?
I got two pairs of WoW 12’s. My only complaint is they flare out a little bit compared to other shoes.

Sketchers Viper Court Pro ?
I have wide feet 2E. The shoes that have fit me are the Babolat SFX3, FILA Axilus energy 2, FILA Speedserve.
My go to shoe is the ASICS Gel Resolution 9. What are your thoughts on that one?
I think its been in a top 5 of mine in the past
@@footdoctorzachdubbsWhy did the Gel Resolution 9 drop from your top 5?
I use Head 3.5 sprints
I use my NB 996v5 for indoors and outdoors. I play more outdoor than indoor.
Would like more "lacing" comparisons.
Of lace techniques? I have a free digital download of it actually

Of all of them the Yonex I’ve found to be the most durable

Curious, what part of the jet mach 3 that is not lasting 3 months for you?
@@gtbinh GM. The Jet mach 3s wear out on left toe area with the right toe slightly behind. I tend to slide my toes a lot at the kitchen when dinking.
Any thoughts on the Skechers Viper Court Pro?
I have a review on it over on the main channel
What's the difference between the Babolat Propulse Fury 3 and Jet Mach 3?
Ok so people with bunions or like myself bunionette (pinky side of foot) so we need a wide toe box. Any recommendations?
ruclips.net/video/v1Z0w49mFAI/видео.html - diadem court burst probably the best for that specifically
How will the both Way of Wade’s work on tennis clay court?
Not bad but there are much better out there
Is the New Balance X CT Rally good for pickleball? I broke my ankle wearing Babolat Mach 3's and now looking at Asics Resolution 9' and the NB X CT's.
IMO yes
My local pickleball shop owner recommended the Diadora Torneo 2.
Thoughts?
Its been in a few of my top 5 lists for pickle - they're great its just you cant list every shoe in these types of videos

I like the asic wide shoes. I’m pretty flat footed
Anyone with a pretty wide foot will not be able to fit in the ASICS shoe. Your best bet is either the New Balance or the Sketchers Viper Court Pro.

Its just a much less stout shoe in general
Woooo
