Exactly. They were helping to commit genocide on that planet of half the population. Thanos was always a monster and they were fighting and supporting him.
They were korbinites, Korbin is Beta Ray Bill's home planet.

In guardians of the galaxy. When Thanos threatens Ronan, that was Josh, but yeah the CGI wasn’t quite there yet.
Seeing him appear on that ship sent chills down my spine😳😳 I thought he was weak without the stones but I saw him covered in blood. I said nope I wouldn’t want to fight him and I’ll send a assassin or something
I remember thinking at the end of Infinity War: "Man, I bet Thanos is a REAL threat without relying on the stones. I wish I could see that." And my prayers were answered in Endgame. Lol

Dr.Strange could have killed him in so many different ways that its hilarious. The only reason he didn't lose in infinity war is because of plot armor. Endgame also required some big plot holes to work aswell. I'm not saying you can't like/enjoy the movies, as that is your right, I'm just saying that they were severely overrated and held together with so insanely inconsistent writing.

I remember the vibe and atmosphere in the cinema during Thanos' entrance. It was a proper, "aaah damn, things just got real!" sort of feeling.
It is such a shame because its moments like that I dont feel we will ever get again. Honestly, watching both Infinity and Endgame in the cinema with my mates after being such a big fan since Iron Man in 2008, I was so on the edge of my seat for both film. I could barely keep my excitement together!

@@docdee770 story wise it was better and also very exciting. It's one of the marvel great film. I didn't cried in any movie but this movie made me cry for 4-5 minutes. But in overall Avengers1, infinity war, Thor Ragnarok and winter soldier are still better than this movie.
I can't watch endgame now after watching consecutive 5 times in theatre but I can watch Avengers 1 and infinity war and captain America winter soldier infinite times.

When they go back to the ship they meet in this scene, there's an overview of the planet, and you can see explosions that take out entire districts of the cities, because the lights go out. Shows the explosions Thanos is making to decimate the people down there.

my big issue with the film has always been past Nebula’s portrayal. At the begining of gotg she was done with thanos and decided to betray him the minute she saw someone who could take him out, which firmly contradicts the loyal and submissive nebula we see here.
@@jackhammer5912 well nebula has to show loyalty to thanos, but deep down she wanted kill him, it wasn't until Maw threatened to kill her that she was given the chance to prove herself to thanos if it meant it would save her skin.

Every single one of them said that the first 10 minutes of the movie is dedicated to Thanos' mission on Xandar, and that in the end, he uses the Power Stone to destroy the entire planet. I really want to see how it went about, we haven't seen much of Thanos fighting without the stones!!
Nebula is always my favorite character in every MCU movie she shows up in.
Her and Stark playing the little paper football game is like my favorite scene.

Is it just me, or did Thanos wipe blood off the right side of his front blade 1:19, and then he used the left side of the front blade to tilt Nebula's chin up 2:18? An intentional choice to touch her face with the bloody side maybe? You can even see at 2:19 the underside is notably cleaner than the topside at 2:28.

They're on par with Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive imo. It's mainly Ebony Maw who's power level is far above the other Children of Thanos.
Peter Quill is just such a badass. It almost doesn't matter how powerful you are, he will trick you, outmanouver and best you. Also he had powers of God. Also Groot is pretty damn powerful.
I think it also has to do with the fact that Gamora and even to some extent back then Nebula weren’t really on their fathers side when it came to collecting the infinity stones even keeping the location of one of them hidden now his other children we’re definitely very malicious in nature and we’re fully devoted to his cause

Just can’t imagine nebula being able to give proxima a decent fight, nor Gamora fighting any of them and standing a chance. It isn't a bug, it's like I'm travelling 2 years in the past & my 2 year old home's WiFi connects to my future phone automatically because of the same IP-address & the admin of the WiFi and past version of mine can acess my files. Nebulla should have turned off the 'auto-connect' feature or should have removed her home's Wifi credentials before travelling into the past.

Endgame is actually the first Avengers movie I ever watched, as well as the first movie with Thanos in it that I ever watched (I know it’s weird, but go with it). Given that, 1:04 is the first time I saw Thanos in full battle-armour form, as opposed to the exhausted farmer in the beginning of the movie. And I have to say - I finally understood why this villain was so iconic. The fact that it was a big screen experience heightened that feeling.
After watching this I really think Thanos needs to work on his parenting skills

The Infinity Stones give off a specific trail of cosmic energy. It's possible that Thanos could have made a device to track that power and told Ronan to follow it. Ronan figured out that the orb was on Morag, and he told Thanos that it's where the trail ended.
That's my theory anyways. We'll probably never know for sure tho

Why do hand to hand combat if you have such sophisticated technology?
While it is fantasy I do remember reading in a similar sci-fi work that explained the prominent use of bladed/melee weapons was down to it being an effective counter to advancing armour.
Sure firearms (whatever they would be called) get better. But then on the flip side armour would get better to counter it. Not unlike how our own technological develops. Armour that can stop bullets can’t stop knifes. So if in making a fictional universe the same rules could apply.
It would be a good way to explain the effectiveness of a lightsaber in the star war universe.
Another factor to consider that Gamora, Nebula and especially thanos arn’t normal people (not unlike everyone in the MCU). They are super-human and the normal rules don’t apply to them. They can take a bullet (when it is story convenient) or a laceration.
So in that circumstance why would you use a normal gun and waste your time in a back and forth fire fight? When you can just bull rush in (cause their weapons basically give you tick bites) and just kill them quickly.
There is also an element of vanity to consider as close quarter is probably a lot of more fun and engaging. Thanos loves to fight.

The ruthless 2014 POS version of Thanos; before 2015-2018, before the defection of her two "daughters" that made him a "bit" softer and more reflexive; before he eventually came to respect (even admire) some of the Avengers.

This is literally a plot hole as ancient one explained what you do in the past doesn't affect your future self,so nebula cannot project hers future self as rules established by this movie.
For nebula it is different. Her mind seems to be connected to a server of sorts. So when future Nebula came into this timeline the server started getting uploads from her mind, which is why the past nebula received them as well.

He knew it was the Mind Stone, it was given to him by The Other the Chitari leader. Thanos gave it to Loki to command the Chitari to get the Tesseract which holds the Space Stone. He knows where the Mind Stone is on Earth but is patiently waiting to get it back since Loki failed. At this point in time Thanos knows

Power Stone - Ronan located on Morag
Space Stone - In Tesseract on Asgard

Thanos doesn’t want to move until he knows he can locate all 6 stones, if it’s known he’s not only looking for Infinity Stones but gathering them the entire universe is on high alert 🚨 he only succeeded in Infinity War because he finally knew he could get all 6 fast and ambushed planets to get them
can we talk about how the space whales don't actually do anything because flapping your fins when there's no resistance doesn't create force?
like there's no way in physical reality they could even move like that, and don't you "oh it's magic" me, regardless of the proposed mechanism of their functioning, their flailing would be an active hinderance to movement as it *would* affect balance and therefore centre of force requirements for actual thrust.

I think you're talking about the gauntlet. He doesnt have it yet, because he is too scared to try and get the stones now. Odin would kick his butt if he tried to invade Asgard

Because it's irrelevant what year it is. Not irrelevant like it doesn't matter what time She and Rhodes traveled to, but like it itself. It only mattered what timeline they traveled to, whatever different year everyone in the universe at that point determines it to be is completely irrelevant.
