Hulk was trying to also bring Natasha back, but the Soul Stone was rejecting him trying to bring her because once she sacrificed herself, there's no going back. That's why at the end before Steve time travels he says 'I really tried to bring her back man'
#2 doesn't make sense, because Thanos absorbed all the stones for the first time in this film when he tried to snap everything out of existence when Marvel saved the day. Thanos sent Marvel flying to who knows where after pulling out one of the stones without it injuring him for long during a battle against the entire Avengers. Hulk, a character known to be able to get more powerful when absorbing radiation, shouldn't have been affected by this procedure at all. I would think that the stones are attacking him because Banner is trying to undo something that a past version of the stones did, which these stones haven't been around to do yet. Maybe that mental exertion that required so much pressure into bringing back what occurred 5 years ago over past stones that nearly destroyed Thanos arm in the process of destroying the stones itself caused that to burden his body the way he did. Otherwise, the Hulk should have no problem with whatever power was radiating from the stones when he snapped his finger.
@@lawman977 He means in Endgame not Infinity war. This Thanos came from the past and absorbed all 6 Stones at the same time like Banner and it was his first time too.
I don't think the stones can bring someone back who wasn't "killed" by them. Thank him how? By saying "thanks?" I think they're a bit beyond that at that point, they're just trying to figure out how to keep him alive and whether the universe is ok.

@@Jax.hellbound no, that’s completely untrue. Even thought it would’ve been very cool. I feel like it was a bit too early since we just got this version of hulk. Even though I want the savage hulk back, I think this one’s okay
My theory is that it's the reason why they had to lock up the place and suit up. They just simply don't know if the power of the stones may break through the balance Bruce made. They have to be prepared for anything.
Even though the stones were spitting out radiation randomly on hulk, it’s interesting to see that the stones were also reacting with each other using the radiation as if they are communicating with each other. Update:at the end when the hulk snaps just before he does the radiation stops as if he has now token all of the stones judgment until he snaps and hurts himself more.
Its really because the Nano Gauntlet is,well,Nanotech. Its not nearly as strong as Uru,which is what the Infinity Gauntlet is made of. And plus the Gauntlet was made to harness the Power of the Infinity Stones while the Nano Gauntlet was made to snap
Well, I'm sure they are communicating with each other. I would figure their roles are that the Reality Stone is the interface demanding that Banner's will be made real, the Mind Stone is doing the phenomenal amount of calculation required to get half the universe identified and determine relatively safe locales near their last locations, the Soul Stone is doing the actual harboring and directing of entities, the Space and Time Stones are channeling them all to their designated locations across spacetime, and the the Power Stone is powering all of this.

He’d probably accepted the fact that it could kill him but he was ready to do it as a final act to save what was lost. A God who’s lost a lot, ready to lose his life instead.
The reason the avengers wouldn’t let him isn’t just cause he has a good chance of dying…But because his mind wasn’t mentally there….Who knew what he might snap for…to bring his brother, mother, and father back….They were more worried for his mental health towards the snap rather then his physical healtj

No, Thanos Gauntlet use special material like Thor axe that is especially good at absorbing magic and were made by Dwarf Eitri, while in this scene the Glove were made with nanotech (maybe vibranium?) it's not as good as the one that Thanos wear. So the gauntlet that Thanos wear reduce the pain that he felt dramatically because the material itself absorb a lot magic, you see why Thor Axe was able to win against all the combine Infinity Stone at the end of Infinity War?? That's because Thanos Gauntlet and Thor Axe was made by Eitri with the same material, also the fact that Thanos put the stone into his gauntlet one by one, while Professor Hulk put the glove on with all the stone in it. While this gauntlet was made by Tony not at all good at absorbing magic, so the pain that Hulk felt just by wearing it is insanely hurt him.

Hopefully everyone remembers that the Infinity Gauntlet is completely different that Tony's glove. It was made to absorb most of the magic from the stones. On top of that, Thanos built up alot of resistance to each individual stone that he collected over time. Each stone you see him put in, you see a surge of energy spark throughout his body. Although he was used to the energy of each individual stone, snapping requires all of the stones' energy combined. Hulk barely touched an infinity stone and he put on all 6 at once without frying to a crisp. That's an impressive feat. Also the Gamma he absorbed help stabilize him to a point of hyperventilation followed by "I'm Okay". In a sense, Hulk himself was a conduit for most of the Gamma radiation that the stones give off, acting like the same perks of an infinity gauntlet. He was THEE Perfect candidate for this task. "It's like, I was made for this". The true pain comes from the negative effects of trying to Bring Back Natasha. Something that is impossible because her life was forfeit before the snap. Hence, The stones are rejecting his wish and doing harm to his body when he is trying to force the impossible. Still, putting on all 6 stones at once for the first time and snapping everyone back to life is a huge W for the Hulk. Even though we would've preferred the good o'l 1v1 with Thanos.
I’ve seen people say that the reason why he was taking so long to snap his fingers, was because while he was trying to adapt to the gauntlet,he was also trying to bring back Natasha as well, but the stones were rejecting his wish, which totally makes sense
did everyone just forget that endgame thanos was about to snap his fingers with all six stones at once for the first time and didn't automatically fry to a crisp either? hulk reacted much strongly while he adapted to the infinity stones. the moment he put them on, the stones were literally damaging and spreading all over his arm. the moment thanos put them on, his arm was also taking damage but it wasn't as severe as the damage done to the hulk. not to dismiss hulk's capability in performing the snap but he did make a remark that that the stones almost killed thanos. none of the others could have likely survived the snap, whether it be with the uru infinity gauntlet or the nano tech guantlet. thanos was extremely lucky to survive after his second snap, since he almost died destroying the stones.
A lot of people ask why it was so hard for Bruce to snap his fingers but Tony did much faster. And I like the theory that says it’s because Bruce was trying to bring Nat back. It actually makes this scene even sadder to me.
ye i like this theory. and i also think its because tony’s suit was capable of absorbing some of the energy (just like he absorbed energy from thor’s lightning in avangers 1) and perhaps it was even able to distribute the energy evenly through his whole body, making it less concentrated
It makes me despise Rhodes even more. The loudest or the most arrogant is always the weakest. Rhodes is the weakest avenger. And he's all bark but little to no bite, even then his bite is pathetic. I feel bad for Thor because he feels like the fate of the world fell on him, he wanted to stop Thanos, he lost his family and watched half the universe die... He wanted to put on Tony's gauntlet and help reverse half the universe dying because he felt like he was responsible. I remember feeling the raw strength resonating in the theater when Hulk lifted the glove. Then that snap, the entire audience lit up like an amphitheater of roar. Great times.
5 years later and I still think this film’s biggest misstep was not bringing back angry Hulk after the snap. That radiation should have brought him back stronger, not disabled his arm.
I still feel SO sad that everyone overlooked and forgot about Hulk bringing back half the Universe after Tony erased Thanos and his army. Feels like Hulk didn’t get enough credit

- He had an abusive father, who killed his mother - By some miracle survived getting blasted with radiation - Had to kill his own father - Spent half of his life being hunted by the army - Exiled himself to another planet, because almost everyone saw him as nothing more than a monster - Two of the very few people who cared about him sacrificed themselves and died - Withstood the power of the Infinity Gauntlet and brought half of the population of the Universe back to life But somehow they're trying to convince us that getting catcalled on the street is more stressful and painful than all of that? The MCU died with Iron Man.
I always thought about that...I can't say I love it haha. Feels like the writers wrote an offhand line for Thanos, then forgot it was offhand, and thereafter went with the theory that snapping is the only way to activate the stones, to the extent of building MULTIPLE fight scene moments around keeping his thumb and finger from touching. A little weird! Would've been kinda cool if Bruce and Tony both had their own signature way of doing it. (Hulk smash?)
To use them all together Thanos had to snap his fingers. But otherwise he only had to close his fist to activate whichever infinity stone he wanted to use
I think, after snapping, Bruce should have reverted back to his Jekyll/Hyde savage Hulk persona as a consequence for using the gamma radiated stones. That way, we could have had a Thanos/savage Hulk rematch in the final battle and shown that Bruce sacrificed his content Professor Hulk persona for the fate of the universe.

Well it would have disabled hulk for a while
@CollectibleCollector Who said anything about radiation

@@Agent_Erased He really tried reviving Natasha Romanoff though. He really tried. And Hawkeye don't kick the Gauntlet keep it close by so we can do another snap to you know.......
Yeah, hopefully they remember...
I’ve seen people say that the reason why he was taking so long to snap his fingers, was because while he was trying to adapt to the gauntlet,he was also trying to bring back Natasha as well, but the stones were rejecting his wish, which totally makes sense
So Hulk is durable…and?
@@edwin9210 ?
did everyone just forget that endgame thanos was about to snap his fingers with all six stones at once for the first time and didn't automatically fry to a crisp either? hulk reacted much strongly while he adapted to the infinity stones. the moment he put them on, the stones were literally damaging and spreading all over his arm. the moment thanos put them on, his arm was also taking damage but it wasn't as severe as the damage done to the hulk.
not to dismiss hulk's capability in performing the snap but he did make a remark that that the stones almost killed thanos. none of the others could have likely survived the snap, whether it be with the uru infinity gauntlet or the nano tech guantlet. thanos was extremely lucky to survive after his second snap, since he almost died destroying the stones.

@@davidgordillo6583 Tony’s just a guy also and he didn’t die instantly, he hd his suit but it didn’t protect him much as seen after he snaps it’s absolutely wrecked
@@starmix4349 his suit was the only reason he didn't instantly disintegrate after putting the gauntlet on
God I really wish someone had piped up in the editing room and said "hey so Thor's lines here are supposed to convey just how desperate he is to redeem himself because of his guilt, so can we lose the fucking Cheez Whiz joke?"
I love everyone wants suit and shield to protect themselves... Thor just standing there and protecting the Rabbit
It's funny that in Loki, the TVA has drawers full of these stones like they're trinkets.
The 2008 Hulk would have tanked that shit with ease, lmao.
But he didn't have the mind to. That's Why banner had to do it in hulks body. Hulk COULDENT have thought of the motivation to bring them back.
He'd probably eat the stones thinking they were jolly ranchers 😂
I love Cap stopping Thor from snapping with the "Thor just wait. We haven't decided who's gonna put that on yet." He could tell his friend wasnt right for it. Love Cap.
Cap: No wait Bruce are you okay??
Bruce: aughh 😩✨
Alot of people don't like Professor Hulk and yet he literally saved the universe.
He did save the universe.
He did save the universe.
2:05 Everyone is putting up shields to protect themselves while Thor is like, "I am the sheld."
I love the sound effects on the stones activating, amazing.
By other hand... i wonder who banner saw at the sould stone space... maybe Natasha? it would be a killer scene!!
I wonder how they even made those sound effects
@@mahentahen5992 i had seen in movies that... there a common library of sounds, for example you can hear the transformers sounds on a lot of movies, the screams, gunshots, etc, somewhere must be some kind of movie sound library and on this gauntlet sound effects i have heard some of those sounds on other movies, even marvel ones, so i think what they made was a combination of a lot of sounds, but it sound amazing, scary and powerful. In fact if you hear carefully at this, you can hear in the back sounds like when blackout transforms in transformers, or when scorponok gets out of the sand, along other sounds.
People who are wondering why hulk was in pain here Is because instead of putting in the stones 1 by 1 like thanos did in infinity war he put the glove on all at once taking all that energy at once before he even snap severely damaged already
Tony: That kind of gamma exposure could’ve killed you.
Bruce: So you’re saying that the Hulk saved my life? That’s a nice sentiment. For what reason?
Tony: I’ll guess we’ll find out.
The reason:-
Why are these movies so comforting? Like we become a part of it and loves every second of it..
Good friends like who are like a dysfunctional family fighting to make things better and even sacrificing themselves when it's required to save everyone else.
@@carolynm8421 yeah you're right , they are like siblings and it is comforting cause the way they care about others and the infighting makes it more relatable...
@@asphaltmessimer1384 yeah, we all want friends/family like that too. That's the appeal.
@@carolynm8421 🫠🫠🥲
When you realise most of that pain was the attempt to bring Natasha back

*1:18** HULK Stroke*
Love the sound effects the stones make
This feels like a nice callback from when Chris Rogers was taking in the serum and everyone asked if he was okay, so they proceeded.
That's probably exactly what they were going for when Steve tells everyone to wait when it seems like the Gauntlet's power is too much for Bruce. He remembers the ordeal he endured to receive the Super Soldier Serum, and he believes that Bruce will power through it for the sake of everyone, just like he did all those decades ago.
Hawkeye kicking away the glove with disgust 😂 “HOW DARE YOU HURT MY MATE BANNER”
not rlly. its more like hes kicking it away because of the power just one of the stones had. meaning he was scared that it would do anything more like a for example a little fire going bigger or causing a big explosion and he would just stamp the fire down until its out.
