Great video! I have the Cara Cara 2 in both Stainless and the lIghtweight FRN (as well as all of the other usual suspects...RAT 2, Buck 110 etc.). I love them both but the lightweight ends up in my pocket every day. It's really light, has a strong lock, big blade, it's a great slicer, has the easy "choke up" option and it's very sturdy. You really can't beat the price/performance. The box is not relevant to me.
The stainless steel version is the best the g 10 version has screws that eventually work themselves loose, trust me I know from first hand experience. The stainless version has absolutely no screws. it's completely welded. It even lacks a main screw for the blade. That's even welded. This is a double edged sword. Because it's welded it will never become loose, it will never fall apart, it will never develop any blade play. However because it lacks screws if you wanna take it apart to clean it out to fix it because it did break you wouldn't be able to. Because it's completely welded. But I think I'd rather have the assurance that the blade will never develop any play and it will never become loose or fall apart in any way.

I have some Byrd knives. I like them a lot, and use them on a regular basis, but I did have to use a file on some of the sharp edges.
